Would you like the long or the short version of my bio?

The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

wow, this whole book fell surprisingly flat for me. Even the romance I was so excited about.

Best thing about this part of the story was def the shifting. I love it when shifters get all playful in their animal form with licking and nose bumping and chasing each other.

“Don’t ever think this is weakness, you surrendering to me.

It’s strength, my love, do you hear me? It’s pure strength.”

Five books in and I felt that there was a steadiness to the story that elevated my enjoyment. Perhaps, much like the author finding her footing in handling the extensive cast, so, too, are the distinctive relationships converging to a point that is making their bond grow deeper and stronger. 'Just because we’re fated mates? Does that mean it could never go wrong?' 😟 While the major focus is on strengthening Bray's own conviction and determination in proving himself a worthy alpha for his soulmates, we also got a healthy heap of the existing dynamics to also emerge as a powerful force - one that heightens just how capable their pack is and wherein lies the history of their evolution as wolves and mates - as one. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Kean is still reeling from the palpable ache from the previous attack on their home; his Beta's Strength is tested when he's still carrying the remnants of pain that Bray's hurtful words caused him - knowing that he will always be a beta, never being an Omega that has a purpose for an Alpha. 😢 But, the two of them are swift to remind him just how wrong he is about himself. 'Sometimes, pain could reconnect you with yourself, could make you feel more alive than anything else.' It's a hard-earned realization of pent-up emotions and inner struggles, but when they overcome it, at their own pace, it's such a heartwarming and intensely personal scene that you can't help but be overwhelmed by their connection. 🥰

No, because as long as you’re sorry, we’ll forgive, and the depth of forgiveness you experience will be equal to the amount of guilt you feel.

They were communicating and discussing, while still being affectionate and realizing that it was a three-way-love, but it was okay still to love on their own, too. Which I really feel is the healthiest way to make a poly romance work. Bray learning to forgive himself for his past misconceptions was the welcoming force that made it easier for him to fall even deeper in love with them, at how open-hearted their feelings were. It grounded him to trust them and be vulnerable with his thoughts - that he did not always have to assert his claim and dominance over them, because they were not surrendering themselves to him because of their status - it was their love. 🥹 'The three of us all have strong characters and strong wills. None of us is gonna give in easily, and that’s okay. We’ll find our way over time.' And being one so focused on pack rules of old, it is a tough act to break, but Kean and Ruari's gentle reminders proved a positive awakening for him - which, again, I did enjoy. 🩶🩶

I admit, I was a bit hesitant to read the final scene, because voyeurism is SO not my scene! 😅 But, the author handled it very tastefully and sincerely. You could feel the love and trust flowing between Bray and Kean and sweet and sassy Ruari on such an intimate and honest level that made me forget, well almost-forget that it was a live show for all to witness. 🥲 'I wish that I had the words to describe what it does to me to see you surrender like this to me'. It was an important and valuable lesson for the alphas to accept and learn; a tolerance of equality between that of the other ranks, that they had to shed that male dominance part of themselves, in order for them to truly awaken and connect on a more emotional and palpable force. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

When you’ve found someone you can be yourself with but who makes you want to be a better person, who inspires you to be the best version of yourself…that’s love, Bray.

Seeing Bray open up to his father, Grayson - seeing him accept his relationship as a Daddy in a more positive light, and even embracing his fatherhood were all welcome touches that reaffirmed that their assessment of what it means to be a beta or omega had to change - in order for them to survive. Throughout the pack's emergence, NP keeps her subplot going; whether it is tackling the deadly and political aspirations of those opposed to their existence or its shedding light on their history of their evolution, it flowed easily into the storyline. 👍🏻 'The alphas are changing, Palani. We’re all changing.' It was nicely touched upon and I appreciated how it never felt overworked or unnecessary.

It dove into it as the future of their pack's existence depending on it; for slowly but surely ,everyone is envisioning a happy and hopeful home of a future at their idyllic ranch, and they'll do whatever it takes to protect it - no matter what outside dangers threaten to attack their peace and love ones. And the wolves! 🐺💫 What happens when they shift! The whole mating experience! It was definitely a handful on their libidos! But, as squeamish as it was for me, it felt like a natural instinct to them. 'He gave so much, living and loving with his whole heart in a way that made Bray ache for him at times.' To be at their most at ease and comfortable in their wolf forms; Vieno and Lidon are definitely leading the way for the most threatening and imposing ones, but it was nice to see the fearful yet softer and playful sides of everyone when in that form. It felt like a second skin, heck, perhaps even the skin they feel best suits them for how much freedom it grants them. ✨

You could never let me down. And you don’t have to work twice as hard anymore just because you’re a beta. You don’t have to prove yourself anymore.

Still love Palani! I'll always have a soft corner for this strong and confident beta who always cares more about others than his own health. 'Palani was his anchor, his lighthouse. With him, it could be anything.' 🥺 The OT4's screen time was well-divided this time, but I still appreciated how the author managed to show how their own relationship had cracks, but how each of them - especially Lidon - was working hard to salvage it. To be there for each other and remember always that they're not alone - that they shouldn't shy away from wanting or demanding or even craving affection, because their love is stronger than that. 😊

All in all, an enjoyable continuation of the series. 👌🏻 The author has a lot to cover, but she maintained a well-fit balance to the narrative here. We may not have yet bid adieu to the existing threesomes, but I am curious to see how the other pack members' bonds will be touched upon in the next installments. 🥰

I love this series, so much so that when I discovered this had dropped at 11pm last night, I downloaded it via KU and then stayed up to finish it so I'm knackered this morning - thanks Nora!

In Beta's Strength we see the triad between Bray, Kean and Ruari start to find its settled ground, they're becoming a unit, though there are struggles along the way, and it's incredibly sweet to read Bray's fumbling attempts to be a better alpha.

On the ranch, there're all kinds of exciting developments and this one takes off almost as soon as Beta's Surrender finishes, so there is the fall out from the raid to deal with and there're some quite surprising results from that.

I'm not going to spoiler what happens in this one, I think it'll work far better if the reader is surprised by the outcomes of a few actions but lets just say it's the typical sexual adventure and tension-filled plot rollercoaster I'd expect from this series!

There was lots to love in this instalment. People that were missing are found at last; the death of one of the pack members, although unfortunate, gives rise to more of the pack being able to shift; Vieno really lays into York and Palani has alpha-type problems with Grayson. It would seem that the True Alpha and the True Omega predictions of the past and all that that entails have come to fruition, and I have to say that although Bray hasn't been one of my fave characters, he was just adorable at times in this story with his Daddy issues [and poop] 😜.

There were a few niggles for me as far as using the correct word or the correct tense, so not sure if they were typos or just poor proof reading. 😕

Out of the five books I've read so far this is my least favorite. It wasn't badly written, I just never felt a connection with two of the three MCs (Kean and Ruari) and, despite all of their scenes together, I never warmed up to them as a couple. This made reading their scenes a little boring. I wasn't caught up in any of the emotions that I know I was supposed to, even during Ruari and Kean's claiming. It was nothing like reading the scenes involving Lidon and his men or Grayson and his boys.

That said, I adored Bray. I've been following him since Beta's Surrender and John Solo's voice for him somehow made him even more endearing. I loved seeing the alpha try to be a better person for both his son and his mates. I feel cheated that I didn't get to see more of his internal thoughts and interactions between him and Kean before their "break up" in the previous book but at least they got their HEA in the end.

Alpha's Sacrifice 4 stars
Alpha's Submission 5 stars
Beta's Surrender 5 stars
Alpha's Pride 3.75 stars
Beta's Strength 3 stars

This series hasn't missed yet for me.

So much happens in this book plotwise. Storylines are resolved, new ones start and others grow deeper. The same for all the men I've come to adore. The focus is on Bray, Ruari and Kean establishing the relationship and bond that tentatively started in Alpha's Pride, but we also continue to follow the other relationships and the pack as a whole .

There is always a good balance between plot and romance/sex in this series, and I like the way the characters weave into each others' stories, giving a good feel for the shared lives of the pack members. There are a few more pack members who seem ready to have their story told and I look forward to seeing what kind of dynamic they will bring to the series.

I truly hope this isn't the last of this series. I believe she can probably push three more books out because I want to see this pack succeed. The Hayes Pack.

I love the storyline that gives use our beloved Mpreg with all the ABO dynamics. We see Alphas struggling with their emotions, our Betas dealing with being in the middle. And the Omegas trying to find their true self but also being the loving, nurturing people their mates needs them to be.

I admired this series from the very beginning and hate to have to wait for the next book.

“It’s okay to be wrong about things, as long as you’re able to admit it and are willing to learn.”
That resonates with me so much 😭.

Plus, it's cute that Bray is a big ol' softie inside, socially awkward aw. I love our 3 have strong wills, hehe.

"...you had a deep fear of failing and of rejection and that you hide that behind an arrogant exterior."
Enar's right about Bray! 👀

I feel like I better dive into the next one!

Ruari, the Omega, Kean, the Beta, and Bray, The Alpha.

I think this book cut right to the heart of the series. Taking an annoying and imperious Alpha and turning him into a man that was capable of warmth and tenderness. Bray’s changes were fueled by the the strength of his love for his Beta and Omega.

The lore of the shifters was prominent in this book. I liked the reveals as the story went along. Loss really figured into the lore. Making everyone stronger. New characters, and some we’ve seen before were added to the ranch.

This book was all about strengths, be they Alpha, Beta, or Omega. I have really enjoyed this series! I think this one is my favorite. HOWEVER, still, Team Palani.

You know, anyone who knows me knows I love alpha/omega stories. And I'm an Omega fan because omegas are often thought of as weak and helpless when they are actually the ones who are the strongest for what they endure. But it's not just the omegas that get overlooked. Because betas can't give children or have children, they're often looked at as the middle ground. Overlooked because they're not alpha or omega. They're considered harmless but basically nothing because of their abilities to not have it give children. It's sad. But what people don't realize, is betas have to fight just as hard as the omegas to get recognized in the world. To get recognized for being what they can do. Even though I love omegas, Pellani and Enar have always been my favorites. And this book shows why. Beta's Strength doesn't even begin to describe what these guys do and deal with every day. And now add Kean to the mix. And Lars. It's a struggle. Just when they think they've made progress, sometimes there's two steps back for every step forward. But no matter the steps back, progress is being made. Little by little, it's becoming a more balanced world. And in this book, the balance is tipping even more. Especially now that the old ways are starting to be fully implemented. As at the end of the last book, it's growing even more now. And the changes are powerful as hell. It's been an amazing series.

Oh my! Keep you on the edge of your seat!!

I love how we get to interact an catch up with the pack members of the Hayes Pack! In this book it's a continuation of Bray, Kena an Ruari's story. Can three men with different past come together and find their forever?? Will Bray ever out grow the A$$hole Alpha stage? Can they make a triad work? This book picked up where the fourth book ended an contuine on. Even in grief they find their strengths. Lots of hot sexy times! You will laugh, cry an become very frustrated at times but it will so be worth your read! Nora never disappoints!!

Couldn't put it down

Wow! I don't know if I even have the right words for this book. This series has been amazing!! Watching these men embrace who they are truly supposed to be and the power that comes with it. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Bray and his men continue their story, and Bray finds what it means to truly be and alpha and love his men. This book continues to show you the stories of each couple from the books before it. It is a deeply bonded journey and I can't wait to continue this story!!

Consigliato 💖💖💖💖💖

A great continuation of the series.
The aftermath of the attack on the pack is intense.
So much pain, sorrow and trauma but also the strength of the pack holding them together.
It was great seeing the way these men built their relationship.
The plot thickens and I look forward to more of this series.
