I am the Black Angels MC’s road captain, cockiest fucker in the club, and hardest fucker of all the women in town. That is who I am. Who I choose to be.
So, when the one woman I wished to never see again turns up on my doorstep, begging for my help, I know I’m fucked.
Every part of my—our—past; who I was, how I loved, and what I lost, stood before me, forcing me to face the consequences of abandoning my life all those years ago.
Now there is nothing I can do but face it. Face her. But there is one thing that will never change.
I’ll never forgive her.
RONNIE
I know Jackson Creek the best.
He had once been my guide, my role model, my first love. So, I knew the moment I laid eyes on him that this was not the man I once knew.
Jax is cruel and harsh. He lives his life on the edge of the law and embraces it with no fear of those more powerful. Not even fear of the devil himself.
But, even knowing it’s the last thing I should do, I beg for his help, for his hope.
To get him to fix the problem only he is capable of fixing, I am ready to do anything…
Even if that means facing the man who hates me the most.
Writing books had been a big part of my life for many years; whether it was writing in secret notebooks during class, writing amateur novels or posting stories online, I surrounded myself with it.
Of course, it has its up and downs, but I've never once thought that writing wasn't for me.
Because of that, I can share the worlds I discover in my head with the outside world, and although that might sound crazy to some, it's fine by me. So long as I can do what I love, I'm happy.
And every person who's happy as a result of my writing is a bonus for which, I'm forever grateful for.
I read Hunter, Wolf and Jax. Enjoyed all of them. Looking forward to her next book. Hopefully it’s about Mint. Would like to see him and Bell get together. Great love stories.
I've enjoyed just fine. What i didn't like was the cameo from ASH. I was an idiot to believe the author actually meant the goodbye in the second book, but i will NOT READ A BOOK ABOUT ASH AND LAMB AS A COUPLE. I don't like her and hate that the author brought her back.

So I read a free preview of this book, which is what made me read the series (and it was in KU at the time of reading). I really liked the premise of a country boy & girl later reconnecting after the country boy turned biker and the country girl needed his help with her beloved horse who had PTSD. Now, personally, I would’ve liked to see a little more of the country side come out, especially since the guy distanced himself from his past.
It seems as though 1 running storyline may have been finished with this book, but there is another to continue through the next book. Tough we’re not sure who that may be, since there are 2 characters that may devolve into coupledom eventually.
Jax was a great addition to Black Angels series. This story is about second chances, forgiveness and redemption. Jax and Ronnie have known each since they were babies. Four years apart from eachother, Ronnie fell for Jackson since she was a young girl. He thought of her as a sister til she hit sixteen then he was leaving and she promised to go with him but she wasn't ready to leave. Years later she finds him because she needs his help. Does he help or push her away? AE Fisher did another wonderful job with this story and I can't wait for the next story in this series. I am hoping for Lamb and Ava...or Mint and Bell. Happy Reading!!!
I love this series and was so excited when I saw this was released. Loved Jax and Ronnie and their story and love seeing the other couples. Can't wait for the next book and hoe it's Mint and Bell.
For the love of motorcycles and horses! ⠀ ⠀ A.E. Fisher delivers once again with 𝑱𝒂𝒙, third book in the 𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝑴𝑪 series.⠀ ⠀ This biker was trouble to my peace of mind, heart and… Jax always came across as the fun and laid back until his sensitive side took a front seat in the last book. We got to see a different side of him. There’s a contrast between rugged biker meets horse whisperer. It made his character appear deep, almost poetic.. now I’m just rambling… But seriously, I think Jax’s character development was my favorite so far. ⠀ ⠀ He left his parents’ farm to start anew, leaving behind Ronnie, breaking his heart and hers in the process. Ronnie grew up with Jax on the farm, her parents worked for his, she was always following him around, and throughout the years she developed a crush on him but their friendship and trust in one another only seemed to grow stronger. Now here’s the tricky part, I didn’t understand why he was dead set on leaving, I might have missed something. The plan was for Ronnie to accompany him but something stopped her and he ended up leaving her behind. That day his trust in her broke, leaving way to a sense of resentment and hatred. ⠀ Years later, Ronnie finds him at the clubhouse, asking for his help.⠀ ⠀ So Ronnie was the real mystery here and I loved it. With each bit of information we learned about her and her past, I kept wondering and waiting to see what Jax’s reaction will be once he found that out. A lot happened between the night they separated and the day they met again. They were different people, and that was pointed out several times, yet their connection was still there. Despite the fact that Jax was being cold and distant, fighting whatever linked them together, this was their second chance. And just let me say, the steam was there!⠀ ⠀ I loved Max, Ronnie’s horse. He felt like a representation that reflected Ronnie’s state of mind. The bond between them was deep but damaged and witnessing how it healed was just beautiful. ⠀ ⠀ MC romance is a weakness of mine and the author did a great job writing it. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR LAMB’S BOOK! (Someone give me updates, I’m begging you!🥺)
Jax is book three in the Black Angels MC series. It has a little less action than the previous two books but is nevertheless a spectacular read!
Jax is called to the front gate of their compound as he apparently has someone asking for him. When he arrives outside he’s shocked to discover who has come calling after him. Suffice to say he never wanted to see this woman from his past again, but she’s begging him for a favour and he can’t say no!
Ronnie is at the end of her ropes, having travelled around the country looking for help. When Jax finally agrees to help her...she acknowledges that it’ll be difficult but it has to be done. Her past hangs around her neck like a noose but Jax is the one who got away. Will she get to keep him this time or is their past too much for the both of them to put aside?
Can’t wait for more in this series....I’m hoping Lamb next or Mint❣️
This had to be the longest drawn out story I've ever read!!!! Not to mention how bland it was. The characters are completely unlikable. The MC its self is a complete joke. The way the old lady's (well just one really) act is completely unbelievable and definitely wouldn't fly with any MC bikers, fictional or not! There was no chemistry, lust, attraction, insta love, or anything else between the main characters, and that's thru out the book! Back round pops up out of nowhere and has no meaning or real relevance at the time it does or for the story it self for that matter.
Jax has always been my boy in the Black Angels. As a fellow Texas gal with the hots for cowboys, no way was he not going to be. I loved his character, his humor and his interaction with the other MC members. However, I did have a problem with this one. Though I did like the story as a whole, I felt the relationship between Jax and Ronnie appeared forced and slightly unrealistic. The dialogue didn't feel natural and unlike Hunter and Wolf which provided me with the heated burn of an MC romance, this one didn't really do that. There also appeared to be a lack of conflict and more throat clearing and info dumps than either of the other installments. I'd also recommend having further editing done. Many little mistakes could've been caught.
But! I love Jax, I will always love Jax and gladly return to the next installment!
PS- I loved when Lamb ignored Wolf's hair. Best scene in the book.
I will be posting a formal review via my blog at tytoforest.blogspot.com.

Other than a couple of errors here and there I think the stories are getting better. I'm definitely still interested enough to read the next book in this series, though the author doesn't seem to remember important details from the book before. Eg: Was Ash's father a politician or underground Kingpin? Cable-tied to the radiator or tied with ropes? Jax has known Ronnie all his life but when she refused to leave the farm with him he left anyway. He has no idea what she went through without him to keep her safe, so when she turns up on his club's doorstep he has every intention to turn her away. Jax tries to hold his grudge but when he sees why she came to him he agrees to help. Along the way they begin to forgive each other but Ronnie still holds onto a secret that just might get them both killed.

I read the first two books in this series & they were pretty good so I wanted to finish it out and read this last book. What a mistake! It was awful. I had to MAKE myself finish it because I don't like to stop in the middle. At about 70% it finally picked up the pace so I could finish without any more trouble. It was such a disjointed story. It did not flow at all. It didn't seem like she had an editor at all because there are so many mistakes! Complete words were missing, the wrong word was used, words were misspelled. I am even a horse person but I still didn't like it. It was like the author just didn't put the time in to actually think about and prepare the story. Sorry.
Better than the second book of the series, but not as good as the first one. This one is a mix of Fifty Shades of Grey (the book actually gets mentioned at some point) with a bit of country/cowboy elements in it and the MC background, of course, and I'm not sure how I feel about the end result. I guess I kind of liked it overall - even if Jax felt pretty OC. Sure, one could argue that the Jax in this book is the real one given the fact that it's his story, but it still felt kind of 'off'. At least it was amusing, especially toward the end, what with the 'princess' thing (not saying more as I don't want to include spoilers in the review). All in all, I'm glad I finished reading this book series, and I'm quite ready to move on to something way different.
This is my first book by the author, I was able to follow the story without a problem even though it’s book 3 in the series. The couples storyline is independent or stand alone. I think the author has a great deal of talent, the story was gripping and the dialogue was smooth like butter. There was fantastic tension between the H&h. Jax and Ronnie have a past, they knew each other as kids and Jax is definitely holding a grudge like it’s a sore paw and he’s a wounded animal ready to bite Ronnie for coming back into his life. He’s an absolute beast. I liked the not knowing if/how these two characters would get together. I strongly recommend this book.
I really struggled with this story. I loved Jax from the previous stories, but this Jax was different. There was so, so much back and forth between Ronnie and him, i found it difficult to be invested in this couple. The last minute reveal of everyone’s secrets did not make things better. I hope the next story is more engaging.
Jax was an intriguing character in the two earlier books & this book was an absolute pleasure to read. He really was all show while keeping his past tightly hidden away. All is explained in this beautifully executed reveal & I was absolutely enthralled with A. E. Fisher's story. I hope there is more to come from this author & soon.
Ronnie goes to the one man she knows can rehabilitate her horse, Jax, even if it is breaking her inside. Jax wad the boy she wad.in love with all.het childhood but he is a completely different man now. Jax still resents Ronnie for not leaving with him but despite their unresolved past their feelings burn bright in this engaging story.
I really liked the book. It was different than a normal MC with the h needing help with her horse from the man she has always loved but he walked away years ago. It's a second chance romance that shows conflicts of the heart.
What I didn't like was ALL the typos but the story was good imo.
I enjoyed this storyline, interesting characters, zany females in love with alpha bikers. What’s not to like ? I am going to read the other books in the series now. I found a new author to follow
This a couple that happens to grow up together, Jackson turn to Jax. And Ronnie she now Vronica. She always loved Jax and he loved his Ronnie but was made she didn't come with him away he found his place. She found him, now the story begins.
This one was my favorite of this series. The first two were good but this one topped both of those. I love the characters in this series, they are all flawed you won't find perfection in any of these characters which what resonates with me.
I have read all three books looking forward #4. I am crossing my fingers it will be Lamb's story. If you get a chance read the 1st book. These book do not have a cliff hanger.
