Nate Landry was a bounty hunter and always off looking for an outlaw. When he returned to his cabin near Phoenix after a hunt, he was surprised to find that he wasn’t alone. He walked in to face a pistol in the hands of a woman who knew how to use it. Anna Thomas was desperate to find and recover her kidnapped son, Daniel. Her husband, David, had been shot and killed during the kidnapping and his dying words to her were to find Nate Landry, the Union Army soldier who had released him from captivity years before. In a twisted turn of events, Nate and his trusted companion, Wolf, found that it had been one of their former Army majors who had kidnapped Daniel Thomas. With Anne along to deliver the ransom, a dangerous game of cat and mouse—with major issues—ensued.
A well-crafted Western Major Issues introduces us to Nate Landry, a Bounty Hunter in Arizona, and his Native American friend, Wolf. Together they help a newly widowed rancher recover her young son from a vicious kidnapper, Nate and Wolf, ride into danger in the old West. I especially liked the banter between Nate and Wolf, and I look forward to riding with them again. Recommend.
