Curious About Outer Space? Experiment With Math And Learn About The Planets In Our Solar System! Correlates To Emphasis On Students Applying Foundational Math Skills. Includes Text Features Such As Charts And Graphs.
I loved this book! While I personally don’t like math and my brain has trouble with it, I thought that the way this book wove math into learning some basic stuff about space was awesome! Everything about this book felt balanced and well thought out. There was some information about space and then ways to use math to go deeper. And these concepts were built upon and repeated throughout as you learned more and more, helping to reinforce and expand upon it all. If I had kids, I would 100% give them this book to read.
This book is called Space and it talks about the organism and how it functions. In the beginning of the book, it says that the universe relates to the starts because of how infinite it is. Technology is the process by which people discover about planets and starts. Neil Arm strong is the first person to have stepped on the moon and it was in July 1969. The book states that the earth is part of a much larger group of planets called the Solar System since all the planets turn around the sun. People measure the planets by its diameters; Jupiter is the planet is our solar system which the largest diameter of 144, 036 kilometers which is approximately 18 times bigger than the earth’s diameter.
The first question is ‘’which branch of science (physical, earth, space, or life science) does the content fall under and why’’? So logically is interesting book is talks more about Space Science because all this book talks about space and the universe furthermore the title of the book is Space which is a proof that the book is about space. The second question is ‘’how can the content in your book relate to a career in science? ’The content in the book can relate to a career in science if someone wants to become an astronaut. To become an astronaut you need to have basic knowledge about space thus this book provides rudimentary information about the universe. The third question is ‘’ How can the content in your book relate to what you have previously learned or currently are learning in science class?’’ In 6th grade I learned about space and how to calculate objects in a round shape. Another thing I learned from the book that relates to what I learned previously in class is the lunar phases.
I would recommend this book to several people. First this book would please everyone who is interested in space science because this book only talks about that. Sixth graders should read this book because this book provides basic information that would help them in the lessons that they are learning in class. I would recommend this book to people that are having a science fair question about space science. This book should be read by everyone who are having courses on space science.
This book is called Stem Guides to Space by Kay Robertson.I rated this book 5 stars for several reasons. First, it's exciting how space has changed trough time and how it was developed. For example, how satellites were placed and it also tells you that there is a number of infinite stars in the world it just goes on and on. Second, they also talk about planets and gave a lot of information on the solar system.Kay Robertson said,"Pluto was once considered the ninth planet of our solar system. However scientist decided Pluto was too small to be called a planet."In conclusion, I loved this book and I would be interested reading scientific books more often.
This book is interesting for many reasons. It talks about the moon and who was the first person to go to the moon.Neil Amstrong was the first person to put his foot on the moon, they were other astronuts In the Apollo 11.Second,I like how the author ask us questions in the book."Did you know? Our solar system also includes a multitude of smaller objects that orbit the eight major planets. In conclusion this book is interesting because the author wants you to live the book.
I would recomand this book to 7th graders for many reasons.First 7th graders will like this book because they will be interested. For example How planets formed.Second, objects are compared to others so they can understand more. For example a basketball and Vebus the planet.I would love that people in 7th grade read it!
