Romans Through Time #4

Ridden Through Temptation

Rate this book
Forced to obey his commander's orders, Dax follows the path his fellow Ancient Roman cavalry soldiers took only to be whisked through time. Thankfully he discovers his friends, alive and well with their newfound lovers, and he worries about what has become of Owen, his commander. When he's introduced to Jack, the chariot driver, he realizes this new time holds wonders he'd never dreamed of.

Jack didn't believe in the gods or fate, and yet when his friends received their Romans he wasn't surprised to discover Dax while out driving. The Roman isn't shy, and he's enthusiastic about discovering all the joys this time has in store. His Roman certainly tempts him, and perhaps, in time, he'll even believe that it truly was fate.

Note: Each book in this series stands alone, but the characters do appear in the other stories and you'll get a better picture of all these sexy Roman soldiers if you read the entire series.

I really enjoyed reading this short but entertaining MM time travel romance. I found the story-line & plot well-written & intriguing with well-developed characters that have distinctive, individual personalities.
There is: a two-faced god with a sense of humor (Janus), a roman warrior sent through time (Dax), a unbelieving man that is tempted to believe (Jackson aka Jack), conflict/battle, a bright light, confusion, old friends, attractions, explanations, disbelief, acceptance, lust & some steam. I look forward to the next book with anticipation.
