Be Love

Rate this book
You might think you're picking up a serious book about life and faith, but you should know Be Love is not entirely that kind of book. Don't get us wrong, there are some serious parts. Through the episodic retelling of Jennafer White's path from the woods of southern Missouri to Cinderella's Castle stage, you will see that each individual (yes, you) has value and purpose. And her story may even spur an idea you can implement in your own skip with Christ (everyone talks about "walking" with Him, but why walk when you could skip?). But let's be real, how serious can the story of the princess-ing life be? Brace this is a faith with a generous sprinkle of fun. But don't get the idea that this princess is perfect. This is a story of how God uses imperfect people to do extraordinary things just by choosing to BE LOVE. We're all walking or skipping imperfectly. This is Jennafer's journey, but it could just as easily be yours.

Such a phenomenal book, written by a phenomenal person. The way Jennafer loves people is so beautiful. Such a fun read… she is a hoot! I felt like she was right in front of me talking to the whole time. Great nuggets of wisdom & truth too.

Jennafer White and her husband, Brady, came and spoke to students recently, sharing their stories and teaching them the importance of spending time with God. So coming into this, I had an idea what it would be about. At first, I thought it was only going to be stories about Jennafer. I’ve read books similar to this one, where it’s simply the author talking about themselves. But this book is so much more than that. Jennafer skillfully combines stories of her life and uses the short stories to show God’s big story for her. Her stories are so unique and special, just like she is. I recommend that people read this book if they’re wondering how to see God in the little moments, and if they are seeking how to love and serve others how God would.

I’ve read this book multiple times, and each time it fills my cup with so much love, joy, and gratitude. I’m reminded of my own memories working for The Mouse, and I’m brought right into Jennafer’s ministry. Love love love it. I know I’ll keep picking this book up again and again for years.

"Look at the castle and be grateful" is going to be my daily goal. I love this concept. And I'm going to seek out my own flock of birds. :)

This book is like Love Does by Bob Goff, if Bob worked for Disney and drank even more Red Bulls than he did when he wrote Love Does.

Jennafer fills every chapter with true stories about her life working at Walt Disney World as an apprentice of Jesus. As a Cast Member myself, I will take some of the lessons learned here into my daily work!

Another reviewer said this book was “Disney princess meets Bob Goff, which might be my aesthetic in life.” I couldn’t agree more!!! Loved this collection of stories that illustrated the power of simple joy and kindness. I laughed, I cried, and I smiled from ear to ear! Inspired and thankful❤️

Such a vivid personality! I am not of the Christian faith but found myself inspired by much of what Jennafer said. I received the book as a gift from a friend and it was a truly magical read. Read it in one night. I’ll probably go back and read it again just for the smiles. :)
