So this is a Shounen manga, and usually I don't read shounen because I usually hate: Art style (something that makes the guys look like babies or really ugly, and the girls have massive chests and lots of pantie shots, which is once too many for me!) and if it weren't for that, I would actually really enjoy the plotline, like I do with One Piece and Naruto. LOVE ONE PIECE.

Anywhoo, so this one caught my attention because the content of the story is similar to X-men and all other marvel/DC comics, and while I never read those, I like the movies and just superhero/paranormal stuff, so there was definitely a chance of me liking this. And in the end, I did. I love Tokyo ESP a lot, even though there are a lot of references to Marvel and DC comics. It's good that the main character is a female too, so definitely more relateable for me, plus the art style does not put me off! In fact, it's very clean, and very fair to all the genders. I absolutely love watching Rinka grow. She's not impossibly mary sue, she has weaknesses, but I totally love that she's kickass as well! The main guy is awesome too. And all supporting characters are just really cool.

This manga though is only told from Rinka's perspective for the first 30-odd chapters, before it switches to a new protagonist (who's a little annoying but a has a really nice balance of good and bad qualities) and her love interest (he's totally yummy, in a cool, inexpressive yet bloodthirsty way--okay maybe not too bloodthirsty, but he's a good guy with a deadly streak, and I mean he's a cop sorta) is interesting too.

But then it returns back to telling a bit more about Rinka's story.

Anyway, superhero manga that walks on the dark side of superheroism here, love it, and dying for more! It's very rare for me to find a shounen that fits my female appreciations (usually I read shoujo for the female protagonists but they drive me nuts a lot of the time!)

Неплохая манга. Первая арка шикарная, а вот вторая местами разочаровывала. Уж слишком ноющая героиня. Впрочем, последние главы опять начали радовать. Аниме смотреть советую только после прочтения манги. Иначе интригу убьете.
Рисовка приятная, сюжет немного напоминает Людей Икс. Местами втречается та еще наркомания.
Так что советую почитать тем, кому нравятся супер-способности, крутые героини и крутые злодеи.

I mean, I read the English version, but it was so cool! I've hated science fiction until I read this graphic novel. The whole series is amazing, really! I highly suggest it.

Yg suka ESP dan X-Men dijamin pasti suka ama komik yg satu ini. Action-nya mantap abis, ceritanya juga kocak. Aku praktis ngakak abis waktu salah satu tokoh Star Wars muncul di sini, aku gak akan bilang siapa tokoh tsb, baca sendiri saja krn dijamin bakal jadi kejutan yg menyenangkan, haha.

Aku suka krn cewek yg jadi "hero" dalam kisah ESP ini. Cewek yg kuat, jago beladiri, bukannya cewek lemah yg selalu harus dilindungi oleh cowoknya. Lagian rada jemu juga kalau selalu cowok yg jadi tokoh utama untuk cerita2 bertema ESP seperti [book : Code Breaker].

I loved this manga! Like X-Men, but actually addresses societal issues. Plus, there are glowing, flying,non-corporeal fish and the flying penguin named Peggy who goes after them. Can't wait to read more in this series!

Vi el anime cuando se estreno y me gustó mucho y aunque no recuerdo todos los detalles este volumen estuvo bien. Probablemente me hubiera gustado más si hubiera leído primero el manga, pero no está mal. Espero leer los demás volúmenes ya que el anime me dejo con ganas de saber más.
