Daveigh returns to Kingsbrier harboring a secret, but none that cuts as deep as the one Cris has held onto. After allowing herself time to heal, will Daveigh find strength in their friendship to return to her studies? Or will she settle for half her dreams for the chance to be with the man she’s always loved? After admitting to his responsibility in his wife’s death, can Cris relinquish the past that haunts him? Or will he and Daveigh continue down separate paths?
(Novels in the Kingsbrier Quintuplets series are interconnected standalones, each with an HEA. Additional books are essential pieces of the overall story arcs as ongoing storylines develop throughout the series. Reading them in order is not necessary, but recommended by fans.)

The Kingsbrier Quintuplets are my absolute favorite books! I mean, seriously! They had me hooked from the first pages of the first book that I read!
Each of the quints has their own unique personality, full of quirks, but you will love them just the same!
Here is my review of Eric, Book 1 in the series:
Eric:
Eric is the story of one of the Kingsbrier quintuplets - Rose and Ross’ children. The quints are now eighteen and cut off from the family fortune until they are twenty-five. They must make their way in the world, before they can receive their inheritance.
Eric and his girlfriend, Ginny have a plan - a four year plan. Eric will be working in the family construction business, learning the ropes, while taking online college courses. Ginny will attend university. Great plan, until life happens, and a bomb is dropped, creating a huge detour to their plan.
Jody is a masterful storyteller, with beautifully developed characters, incredible landscapes and every now and then she throws in a plot twist that will leave you reeling. I loved the personal growth of both Ginny and Eric as they adjusted to their new reality, handling the curveballs life threw them.
This is a brilliant sweet romance that you absolutely must read!
You will not regret one single second spent getting to know a single one of these characters!

Brier & her brothers best friend Drew have been sneaking around for a while. He wants to confess but she thinks things will change, she has plans to join the police force, he’s a professional football player.
Will his decision to step back for a while be the right one?

Daveigh is the quiet one the others are always protective of her. Cris has just lost his wife & applies to work for the family bringing his young son mateo who instantly loves her calling her Esmeralda because of her gorgeous green eyes. He keeps pushing her away the age differences & wanting her to achieve her goal and qualify as a vet.

These are all interesting stories, and I was hooked and intrigued throughout, and look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

Loved this series and the quints....the stories are told from everyone's POV and it's not specifically about 1 of them at a time.
