Dylan It was New Year's Eve and what did I have to show for my year? I can’t think of a single thing beyond the pub that earned the title of accomplishment. But there she stood on the other side of my bar at the eleventh hour. Learning her name made my year.
Ruth On a scale of my landlord, Edgar, who has a huge hairy mole on his face to the blessedly handsome Charlie Hunnam...well you can guess which end of the spectrum the smoking hot bartender fell on. Blonde hair. Chiseled jaw. Arms. Arms. Arms. But it was the intensity in his gaze that feckin’ floored me. He saw me, and I don’t know why something that should be so ordinary was so exceptional.
This standalone sexy short story accompanies the novel, Pull At My Heart.

*The stuffy official bio* Ellie Malouff has been dreaming up stories for as long as she can remember. When she’s not writing, you can find her parked on the couch in Colorado with her husband, kids, and cats. She loves traveling to Ireland whenever she gets the chance.
A short but oh so sweet tale of two of the characters from Pull at my Heart. I enjoyed this and enjoyed seeing how the characters got to their happy ending. Great job Ellie!
It was a short and easy read. Typically I’m not a big fan of short books/novellas that don’t follow up on a previous couple that had a full length book, but this worked because you got quite a bit of Ruth and Dylan in Pull At My Heart.
You were left wanting more of the two when you read PAMH and I’m so happy that Ellie decided to give us their story!
Oh, hell yes! I knew I’d love it, and I did! Ruth and Dylan were amazing in Pull at My Heart, and they were perfection in their own little novella. As always, if Ellie Malouff is writing, I’m reading! Can’t wait to see what she cooks up next!
This short story is a shining example of why Malouff is one of my auto-buy authors. While brief, the intensity, romance, and emotion packed in is immense. If you’ve read Pull At My Heart, this will finally give you Ruth and Dylan’s backstory, satisfying that curiosity and then some. If you haven’t, this will definitely make you want to see where their story goes. Short, sweet, sexy, and sensational!
