When Navy firefighter Nick Palotay returns to Marietta to go on the bachelor auction block for a good cause, he expects it to be risk free. But when he needs someone safe to bid on him and his sister’s best friend is coaxed into stepping up, Nick isn’t prepared for the effect Cassidy has on him. She sends his mind to all kinds of dirty places…places his battered heart can’t afford.
Freelance photographer Cassidy Ware is in waaay over her head. She’s always been Nick’s other little sister, but she’s all grown up now and just a glance from him leaves her hot and bothered. Still, she can stay immune to his charms and keep him at an emotional distance because she’s got an agenda, too. She’ll help the too-handsome Nick with his charitable deed, and, in return, he’ll help her keep an unwelcome suitor at bay.
A deal’s a deal, but when their “business transaction” turns into more pleasure than duty, can they walk away from each other without losing what matters most?

Robin Bielman is one of my favourite authors, so when I discovered she was involved in Tule's 2016 Bachelor Auction...
Over the past couple of years, Marietta, Montana has become a place I return to time and time again. With endearing couples, romantic journeys, and the fact that they can be read alone despite the subtle links and character crossovers between authors, it's just so inviting. And Robin brought me all I could have asked for in Cassidy and Nick's story.
"Nick Palotay, if you were the last man on the planet, I still wouldn’t want a romantic relationship with you."
The childhood crush/best-friends older brother trope is one I'm rather partial to and when you have a couple as fabulous as Nick and Cassidy, who both have strong personalities yet are inwardly dealing with their own demons, then you know it's going to tug on your emotions somewhere along the way. They have a superb chemistry from the start bringing humour, verbal-sparring, fun, passion and some real touching moments; their story is one that involves leaps of faith, fear, trust and discoveries.
I've said it before, Robin Bielman has the capability to write a toe-curling kiss and her closed door romances never lack an intimate feel. But when she opens that door? No mistake, she cranks up the the heat and Nick and Cassidy were flirty, passionate, sexy and a little bit surprising.
Robin's books hit the spot every single time; entertaining and engaging, you fall in love with her characters and you're left with a happy heart. Falling for Her Bachelor is a steamy, heartwarming read, a delightful addition to the Bachelor Auction series and I can't wait to see what she treats her readers to next.
Copy generously provided by the author and, as always, it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review.
The storyline held my interest from the first page and the characters were entertaining, passionate and their chemistry was off the charts.
Nick and Cassidy made me laugh, sad, frustrated & swoon with their story. Both had been through alot in the past and opening their hearts wasn't easy for either one. I enjoyed watching them connect, communicate and learn to go with their heart and not fear love.
And did I mention how hot they were? *fans self*
This was a lovely afternoon's read, I read it in one sitting and when I finished I was happy these two got their well earned HEA.
If you're in the mood for a well written, heartwarming read you'll love Falling for Her Bachelor.
Cassidy might have had a little crush on her friend's big brother Nick when they were younger but nothing ever came of it and in the meantime they've gone on to have successful careers (he's a Navy Firefighter and she's a photographer). Back home in Marietta, helping out Nick by bidding on him at the charity bachelor auction in their home town at the behest of her friend turns into a deal between them whereby he'll return the favor and be her date to a work function to keep an amorous would-be suitor away. While it's supposed to be a hands off arrangement, the truth is that spending time together makes them both aware of the latent simmering attraction between them. When it spills over will they able to go back to just being friends or will they take a step forward into a new future together?
I'm a big fan of the 'best friend's sibling' trope and loved what the author did with it here. Nick was a bit wary at first of Cassidy being his date, as he wasn't unaware of her crush on him as a teenager and he's hesitant to encourage her in any way. He knows that they both have plans for the future that involve moving away from Marietta (and not in the same direction). Not only that, but he's dealt with a lot of loss in his life, and he's got a pretty strong guard up around his heart. However he's got some fun, adventurous plans for the two of them as part of his auction date, and is quick to realize that spending that time with Cassidy is way more exciting than he'd expected. The sexual attraction between them certainly doesn't hurt, and while he's clear with her that if they pursue it, it can't be anything serious, it doesn't stop his heart (and hers) from getting involved after all. They share some sexy scenes together and Nick really comes across as a nice guy, even if he's indecisive about making things permanent with Cassidy. For her part, Cassidy might be smitten but she's not going to let that stop her from continuing her own future plans, which I definitely appreciated - no waiting around for Nick to make up his mind. Fortunately he eventually makes the right choice, and we get a lovely happy ending for the couple. It was a fun and entertaining story, with a sexy and sometimes emotional romance. I'm looking forward to more in this series of connected Bachelor auction stories! 4.5 stars.

I absolutely adored Robin Bielman’s addition to the Bachelor Auction series. Perfect romantic escapism, and anything that gives me more time in Marietta, Montana is always a plus, but something just clicked with Cassidy and Nick’s story, and I simply couldn’t put it down.
The author took one of my favourite tropes, in Best-Friends Big Brother and crafted a well-developed, sexy coming together. Sid and Nick have been a part of each others lives from childhood, but he only really ever saw her as a surrogate little sister, but now both back in town, after more than a few years passing, seeing Sid again doesn’t bring out anything brotherly in him.
"Sometimes nothing is everything."
What starts as a weekend of no strings adrenaline fueled fun, after winning Nick in the Bachelor Auction, progresses to a few weeks of illicit sex as both Nick and Cassidy realize that their connection goes a little more deeper than 'No-Strings', but they are both due to leave town and go back to their respective lives in completely different states, so the possibility of a future seems to be out of reach.
"I want to breathe you in, every inch of you… Kiss you, taste you, and know what it feels like to be buried inside you."
Nick is dealing with a few demons from his past, and as the story progresses Cassidy is the one he turns to, to help work through them with him, and I absolutely adored the development of their relationship around this. The drama is well paced and not overplayed, and Robin just gives her readers a couple that you cannot help falling in love with, as they fall in love with each other.
"I’m not ready to let this go yet…"
An absolute winner for me, the second book in the series delivered on all counts. I really hope at some point the author gets the opportunity to give Rowan Palotay her story, as Nicks single little sister, and Cassidy’s best friend she featured quite a bit in Falling For Her Bachelor and I really liked her, so would love to see her have her own 'Happily Ever After' at some point.
I cannot wait for the next book, Sinclair Jayne is a new author to me, and I am looking forward to seeing what sort of story she gives her Bachelor.

Have you ever been in a reading slump and just needed something? Something that was fun and sexy without being bogged down with crazy, unnecessary drama and adults that act like toddlers?
You guise. I've loved Robin Bielman ever since the very first book of hers that I've read, and I love following her on social media. But let me tell you something right now: there is so much more to her than the fun blonde jokes she posts on facebook! She is a force to be reckoned with, and Falling for Her Bachelor was exactly what I needed to read!
So, what's this about? Photographer Cassidy Ware had a crush on her older brother's best friend, Nick, when they were kids. Now all grown up, Nick and Cassidy make a deal for Cassidy to bid on him in the upcoming Bachelor Auction (for charity) to keep an old flame at bay. He agrees to go with her to a party to fend off some guy for her. You know what happens--they spend a weekend together and finally notice the smoking hot chemistry they have and can't keep their hands off each other.
This story is fast-paced and so much fun. I loved the way these characters interacted with each other. And sure, I loved Nick. No surprise there--Bielman always delivers swoon-worthy guys who make me weak in the knees. But what did kind of surprise me is how much I liked Cassidy. This wasn't a girl who had spent her whole life pining away for her brother's best friend. She lived her life, overcoming traumatic things in her past, and becoming successful in her own right. And it's crazy hot. My only complaint is that I wanted more, and I hope we get to see more of them in the other books in this series.
If you're looking for a quick, sexy read that will keep you entertained from the first page until the last, look no further than Falling for Her Bachelor by Robin Bielman. You're going to love it.
Fast-paced, sugary sweet friends to lovers romance. The plot had so much more potential and to be honest, the whole going from you're-a-problem to I-can't-live-without-you wasn't believable enough for me. 2 + 1 stars only because of Ro's character.
Sweet love story with a satsifying ending. Cassidy has always had a huge crush on Nick, who happens to be her best friend's older brother. When Nick goes back home for some downtime, he is reluctantly drafted to participate in the bachelor auction as a favor to his sister. When he runs into Cassidy at the auction, he tries to stay away from her because he knows about her crush on him. When another lady tells him that she plans to win him, he panics and tells his sister to pick someone to outbid the lady and that he will pay for it. She picks Cassidy, much to his dismay. After she wins the bid, she is apprehensive about their date weekend because of her crush. She thinks that she hid it from him while growing up. Nick always knew about the crush because it was so obvious to him. The weekend that he plans is an adventure weekend. Cassidy is excited to go because it will definitely be out of her comfort zone. She is always so serious and tries to do safe things. Nick is afraid that she will chicken out on doing any of the things he has planned. When they arrive at their destination, Nick is surprised that Cassidy ends up doing everything he had planned. She feels alive from doing the different adventures and doesn't want to lose that feeling. When things get out of hand between them at the hotel, Cassidy is afraid to tell and show him her secret, thinking that he will be repulsed. Instead, he is upset for her and goes on to show him that it doesn't matter what happened. Nick is surprised at how much fun he ends up having with Cassidy on their weekend together. Once they are back in the real world, neither one knows how to react to each other. Cassidy is afraid that Nick will know that her crush on him has turned into love and tries to stay away. Nick is convinced he will never get over his first love Sloane and feels like things will never develop between him and Cassidy. After he leaves to start a new job, he realizes that isn't what he wants to do because he is not with Cassidy. After acknowledging that he is in love with her, he does what he can to make things right between them.
I received this book as an ARC from the author in return for my honest review.
This was a cute, quick read. We have Cassidy, who had a bad experience in college, so she's wary of men in general. And we have Nick, who just lost two of his friends in a fire and is trying to decide whether to go back into firefighting. Nick is Cassidy's best friend's older brother whom she had a crush on when they were younger. Nick is participating in a bachelor auction, but when he realizes a stalker girl from his past intends to win the weekend date with him, he begs his sister to find anyone else to bid for him and he'd pay for it. His sister thinks Cass is the safest person, so Cass is enlisted. But when she "wins" Nick for the weekend, he's concerned her little crush never ended. Still, they go and have a great time, and as much as they try to resist the pull, the give in before the weekend is over. Nick hadn't wanted to start anything because he knew Cass deserved more than a one time deal, and Cass really tried to put a good face on it. But Nick kept caving at every turn because there was just something different about how he felt about Cass. And because of that, there was a bit of angst. Thankfully everything worked out in the end. I loved watching Cass and Nick together, just in a general sense and when they were trying so hard to just keep things casual. And my heart broke a bit for Cass at what she'd endured in college. Interesting how it related to Nick's profession. Really sweet, feel-good story.
Cassidy Ware has come back home to deal with the sale of her parent’s house along with trying to figure out her next steps in life. She has been scared, literally and figuratively, making her very fearful of everything. Except her best friends brother, and her first crush, Nick Palotay. Nick’s sister and Cassidy’s best friend, Rowan, asks for her help to save Nick at a bachelor's auction. Using money that Nick put up, she is more than happy to bet on him. After some friendly teasing from Nick, Cassidy decides to let loose and be more courageous on their weekend date.
Nick has lost a lot of people in his life lately and has become emotionally unattached, except to his family. He is staying far away from everyone fearing losing them too. A weekend away with Cassidy means nothing more than spending some time with an old friend.
Spending a weekend together Nick and Cassidy share issues from their past and come to understand each other. However, that weekend leads to both wanting more but not being able to come to terms with it. They both walk away from each other only to question whether or not it is the right thing to do.
This was another romantic, enjoyable quick read. I think Nick and Cassidy’s story was even more delightful then the couple in the first book! There were some cute and awkward moments between the two that made them a couple you root for the entire time. I love the storyline on Cassidy’s college story and how she overcame her fears. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more books in the series.

I've been a big fan of Robin Bielman's work for a while now and I love opening my email to find another one is on its way! This book was a really cute, fun, steamy book that I couldn't put down. I read it in one day! I really love the trope of a woman falling for her best friend's older brother and this one didn't disappoint. And seriously, a bachelor auction?! Sign me up! (But don't tell my husband ;) haha) It's so fun how Nick wants to protect Cassidy because growing up she was like another annoying little sister. But once they spend the weekend together, things quickly change between them. Both Nick and Cassidy were a little broken when they saw each other after many years apart and together, they learn to heal. I love that Nick brought out Cassidy's adventurous side and Cassidy teaches him how to let go of his past, just enough to look forward to the future.
This book absolutely had me hooked from the very first page, just like Bielman's work always does! She definitely knows what she's doing and I cannot wait to read everything else she has! I love when a book can keep me hooked enough to read it in one day. I struggled to put this down, even when my husband was calling me for dinner! If anyone is looking for a quick, sexy read, don't pass this one up! Seriously, it's so good!
** I recieved an ARC of this book in exchange of an honest review.
I liked this book. But, even though I am a big fan of Robin Bielman's work, I have to admit that this one wasn't my favorite. It is, however, a book that I would recommand to any chick-lit fan out there, because it is still a fun and cute quick read.
I can't put my finger on what exactly makes me rate this book a 3 stars instead of giving it a rating of 5.... I think it's a little bit of everything, but mostly Nick. Hé was great, but something about the way he was thinking about Cassidy as a little girl with a crush on him, that he wanted nothing to do with, kind of put me off. I didn't feel like Nick really appreciated Cassidy for what she really was, until I was almost done with the book. Because of that, I felt like it was a one way love story.
Also, I found Cassidy a little bit strange for acting the way she did with Nick, like giving him quick pecks on the lips even though she knew what he thought of her and how he saw her as nothing more than a little sister or a "nuisance". I would never act like that with a guy if I knew that he doesn't have any feelings toward me... or if i'm not officialy seeing the guy. My opinion.
BUT, it is Still a good book, nice story, quick and fun read. I had a good time reading it.
Robin Bielman’s books are auto reads for me. Her stories are just enjoyable books that are hard to put down. Falling for Her Bachelor is a sexy, hot contemporary romance novel with an enjoyable plot, developed characters, and passionate romance. It was a great book to escape reality for a few hours.
Nick is Marietta’s Navy Firefighter who is a hero that feels like he is anything but. He couldn’t save the people he was closest too and feels he let them down. Cassidy is looking to branch out from her good girl persona and really live a little. But, how can the guy who likes to play it safe in order to spare any more pain also be her leader in adventure?
Bielman does a great job developing these two characters and I was almost as intrigued by each of their individual stories as I was their romance together. From the moment they reunited until the very end I was wisked away on an adventure right along with the characters.
Falling for Her Bachelor not only takes you skydiving but into the heat of the moment in the bedroom. The sexy scenes are detailed perfectly for this couple and the story. If you are looking for a quick, contemporary romance read, I highly recommend you give Falling For Her Bachelor a try!
The second in the latest Marietta Bachelor Auction, Falling for Her Bachelor by Robin Bielman is a wonderful brother of my best friend trope. I enjoyed Cassidy as she found balance in her life. I even learned to like Rowan’s older brother, Nick. He had the older brother arrogance down to a science, so I particularly enjoyed every time Cassidy got his goat so to speak.
This fast pace novella is heavy on character interaction with some interesting minor characters, like those at the hot tub. The chemistry between Nick and Cassidy is intense which made this story work. They both have baggage from the past 12 years or so, and uncertain futures but still their attraction worked on an emotional level as well as a physical one; even kisses were intense.
I don’t usually see any actor in the role of a character, but I did with Nick. The actor on the TV series, Hawaii 5-0 who plays Steve McGarrett and the way he becomes that character fit the image I had of Nick. Easy to see why Cassidy could loathe him as Rowan’s obnoxious brother and love him as her man. Quite entertaining.
4.5 stars The publisher provided a copy for an honest review.
Smart, kick-ass heroine I could root for? Yes! Cassidy is a successful photographer with talent and ambition. She survived a brutal college trauma that left her with some physical and emotional scars, but she’s not about to let her life be defined by it.
Strong, brave, hero at a crossroad? Yes! Nick is a true hero—a Navy firefighter honorably discharged after a fire took the life of his best friends. He’s survived some hard times too, and he’s home to support a good cause and find a new direction for his life while he’s at it.
Bachelor Auction? Yeppers, but with a fun twist. Don’t expect some smitten bachelorette maxing out her credit line to win the bachelor of her dreams. Uh-uh. Cassidy’s doing her duty to her best friend, and she extracts a bargain of her own from bachelor Nick.
Sexy thrills? Heck yes! Tandem skydiving, dirty dining in the dark, and a hot springs interlude a little too hot to handle. Whew!
I loved Nick and Cassidy, and adored watching them take the long, slow, unwilling fall into each other. This one’s a keeper.
Growing up, Cassidy had a crush on her best friend's brother, Nick, but he thought of her as a pest. Now, both are back in Marietta for different reasons, each with their own baggage. Nick agreed to participate in the Bachelor Auction, along with his former teammates, to help his former coach's cause. When he realizes that he may be one by someone that may expect a whole lot more, he begs his sister to find someone else to bid on him, he will even donate the money. When Cassidy steps up, he is afraid her old crush on him will lead to stronger feelings, which he didn't want. Cassidy, on the other hand, looks at it as him owing her a favor and figures the "date" will help her take some risks she wouldn't usually take. These two were fun as they worked through their own issues, both alone and together. This was a new-to-me-author, and I enjoyed the story she told. The story fit into the series, and the characters were a fun addition to Marietta. *I received an advanced copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
Falling For Her Bachelor is fast paced, sexy and fun. This year's bachelor auction in Marietta, Montana is all about raising money to build a helipad at Marietta Hospital, and Nick is the second bachelor to be auctioned off. I liked Nick and Cassidy straight away. They read like real people. I loved the setting. I've never been to Montana but I've read so many books set in and around the fictional town of Marietta that I feel right at home there. The story flowed nicely and I liked the way Robin Bielman dealt with the issues confronting both the lead characters. This was a light, fun and fast-paced read. Perfect for a lazy Saturday afternoon.
This is the second book in the Bachelor Auction Returns series. Cassidy has always had a crush on her best friend's older brother and when she bids on him in the auction to help him avoid an obsessed admirer, they both get more than they bargained for. This book is hot, sexy and humorous - I loved the chemistry and dialogue between Cassidy and Nick. The first I've read by Robin Bielman, but I'd definitely read her work again.
Falling For Her Bachelor by author Robin Bielman was another Marietta Montana hit with enough depth and strong story that didn't disappoint. This reader was glued to the pages with the character antics and witty dialogue that kept me turning the pages from start to finish. Review copy received from Tule Publishing for an honest rating
I really enjoyed Nick and Cassidy's story! Having known one another for years Cassidy saves Nick from a "crazy" girl at this years bachelor auction. Nick is afraid that Cassidy's childhood crush on him will complicate there weekend date but she sets him straight! I loved both main characters. Even through all the pain in there past they are fun loving and entertaining!
This was a great read. Nick and Cassidy have this deal to help one another out. Will he be able to get over the fact that she's like a little sister? Will a relationship work? You will get these answers and a whole lot more when you read this book!!!
3.5 bumped to 4. OK, so this isn’t a Christmas story and I’m in my holiday reading phase but let me explain. You see, the book from my holiday list I wanted to read was Once Upon a Royal Christmas. The problem? Well, that is BOOK TWO in the Palatoys of Montana series!!!! So, obviously, I couldn’t just jump right into THAT Christmas story. Right? OK, OK, I know that most series are standalone that don’t require you to read them in order, but I did have book one, Falling for Her Bachelor, already on my Nook and there really wasn’t a reason I needed to read them out of order. So, anyway I started with book one….
Nick and Cassidy, aka Sid, have known one another for a lifetime. They grew up together. Sid is Rowan’s, Nick’s little sister, BFF. Which, of course, makes her off-limits for Nick which is just fine with him. I mean, he’s had his one true love and tragically lost her. He knows the pain of loss. Plus, his is a dangerous profession. There is no way he’s putting anyone else through a tragic loss. Nope. He’s better off with keeping things simple.
Cassidy had a crush on Nick when she was in middle school. She’s over it now, of course. Plus, she’s on her way out of town. Her big career in LA or NYC is calling and there is nothing holding her back. She just needs to get one tiny problem out of the way. Or, rather, get over one gigantic problem. Nick may just be her ticket back to a normal life…..
Falling for Her Bachelor is a fun, cute, quick, and entertaining story about hometown heroes and pesky little sisters. The characters are endearing. There is a lot to tug on heartstrings in this one, but not too many. It’s still a relatively light read that is just a whole lotta fun.
This was my first book by their author and I enjoyed it. It was a bit slow in the beginning and I have to be honest I didn't like Nick in the beginning but he grew on me. I enjoyed reading how they're dealing with their own sad past and their journey to being together. I wish there was a bit more of how their relationship is later on but I feel like we might see glimpse or hear about them in the following book.
I loved this book. Cassidy is my kind of girl and any man should feel really lucky to be loved by her. I read book 2 of the Palotays and loved Rowan there too. Talk about girl power and the great qualities of a woman from these 2 besties. I didn't like Nick at the beginning for stringing Sid along and talk about feeling used by this guy. Good thing he came to his senses in the end. I wish there was more to the ending though.
This story made for easy reading. Cassidy and Nick have known each other since childhood. However, for the last twelve years Nick has been in the navy as a firefighter. His return to town follows tragedy and he is set against relationships. Cassidy is asked to bid and win on him in an auction which she does. Their weekend away is the start of something magical.
I'm not sure how I missed this one because I am a total fan of Robin's books! This book checked all the boxes for me and I loved Nick and Cassidy and the tension there was just fantastic. What a great cast of characters and you gotta love the other bachelors up for auction. Some great laughs in there and some very typical male behavior that would pop up, but you know how men are. Stellar read, I highly recommend and totally worth a second read.
Seriously? 'Convenience' or 'business agreement' tropes are two of the best to write and Robin Bielman does them so well. She's a flirty, fun kind of author and she brings those characteristics out in her characters. FALLING FOR HER BACHELOR is a great way to ring in the upcoming 4th of July. Sparks of all kinds fly between Nick and Cassidy in this fun read.
This was a surprisingly good book! I liked both the main characters and their romantic journey was very believable. I thought Nick and Cassidy had good chemistry and the writing style was smooth and easy to read. I would read more from this author.
Another incredible Marietta, Montana based book. We meet Six, Nick and his sister Rowan. With each story we learn more about each character in the small close knit town. Another riveting bachelor auction book.
