I DNF’d it. My biggest pet peeve. Switching heroines. Mad I wasted my time. That’s against the romance code! I wasted my money. Im gonna try to return it. This was supposed to be about Piston and Frankie! The characters had inner dialogue diarrhea. This series looked so promising. I won’t read another book by this author!

Holy Hotness!! It just keeps getting better and better!!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I don't like MCs, tatts, beards, bikers, or kuttes. But dang if these books, which contain large quantities of all the above, aren't some of the best books I've ever read! Seriously!! Like, in my top favorite books of all time list. And, yes, I even tried to read some other MCs to see if my tastes had changed. No such luck. Still didn't like them. Apparently I am CM Genovese specific in my MC tastes. And let me tell you why I think that is. First off, the layers and depth to these books is extraordinary! The many multifaceted characters that he weaves through these layered story lines is pure artwork! I seriously can't even articulate how fascinating, deep, encompassing, and engrossing these books are!! I love, and hate, but then love, then lust, and all the while hate the "bad" guys. Admire, love, and often want to strangle the strong, yet vulnerable women of the MC. And adore, pant after, root for, and often want to punch the sexy men of the MC. When I try to describe the experience, because yes reading these is an EXPERIENCE, that is Lusts Rage I find myself babbling, while spewing out cuss words, half sentences, splutters, and positive synonyms at the rate of a Harley going full speed. So, when all is said and done, just freakin read the books!! Don't make me send the Knock Man after you!! (Wanna know who that is, read the book!)

Nailed it! Most of the time the second, third, fourth etc. books in a series slowly bring the series down, but not this time. Lust's Rage does need to be read after book 1 in the series to get the full understanding of what is going on BUT this book held its own and may have just surpassed Calm's Storm in twisted, suspense, hold your breath, WTF is going on and the oh so hot moments and all in a good way. This book we get to know more about Frankie and Piston plus a couple new characters like Enzo and Crimson aka ---- (not giving that away). I found myself not sure who I wanted to end up together and who I wanted to fall of the edge of the world. This series is a must read and I can not wait to get my hands on the next in the series. Do yourself a favor and go one click this series now.

I can see this as a TV show. There's sexy men, sexy women, betrayals, sex and lots of action. There's one hell of a twist that floored me.
The fact that the author is able to write in multiple genres (he also writes extreme horror), and write both genres well is amazing.
I can't wait to finish this series!

Lust's Rage is the next MC book you should be reading, and let me tell you why!
This outstanding story is book 2 in the RZBT MC series, and it will abso-freaking-lutely blow your mind! It lays out the plot piece by piece, but nothing is as it seems, so brace yourself for a wild ass roller coaster ride! Piston is one sexy alpha male, but he's also one tough, badass MC brother. I love how this book took such unexpected turns! Nothing happened as I expected it to! Every time I thought I had something figured out, I'd get my head turned 180 degrees. Think you've seen the last of The Reverend? Think again! Think you know who the good and bad guys are? Guess again. Secrets come to light that tie this story together phenomenally! Lust's Rage was chock full of raw, gun-toting MC action, sizzling chemistry, and deep character development. I love the RZBT family so hard!

The second book of The Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC by Chris Genovese and let me tell you this. It’s amazing. When I started this book I didn’t think it will be better than the first but I was wrong. Reading the sinopsis you expect one thing but you get a whole different plot. I think the characters are so well developed and Hope was my favorite although at first didn’t like her very much but the twist in her story is marvelous. Piston can’t be more adorable even with his dark a violent side you just have to love him. We don’t get too much of Link and Tesla but the ending is awesome. I can’t hardly wait for the third book. Chris Genovese really made a great mix: tridimensional characters, thrilling plot, creepy villains, real heroes and the most important feature to me was the message of love, loyalty, courage of the group. Please bring the rest of the books soon!!!

Like all the work by Chris Genovese this book is amazing. It is action packed. Expect the unexpected and then expect the plot to twist again. This story will keep you on your toes. You won't want to put it down. From a sadistic Reverand and his cult to a new Casino in the area be part of the action as Link, Piston, Tesla and Frankie and the rest of the Razorblade Tumbleweed MC go on an rollercoaster ride of excitement. I love Calm's Storm (Razorblade Tumbleweed MC Book 1) but Lust's Rage tops it. Be prepared to question everything you know and to say WTF along the way. You won't want to put this down.

Once again C.M. Genovese writing has sucked me in and didn’t let me go! This book is a roller coaster!
Piston and Frankie’s story did not go the way I thought it would which made the story that much more intriguing. The Red Chapel is back with a vengeance and not to mention the newest threat to the RTMC, Red Jew, who runs the casino. Needless to say my mind is blown and I’m still trying to mentally digest everything I just read. If you haven’t read this I’m telling you to do it now!! You will not regret it. Absolutely fantastic read and cannot wait for the next one!

these books are so different than what i've previously read. yes they are about bikers and the mc world, but CM Genovese's writing style is very very different than the norm.
whereas the majority lets face it of mc books are pretty straightforward and formulaic there's nothing simple about a CMG book. His storylines and plots are complex and multifaceted. He doesnt just write about one couple but at least two concurrently AND still has time to throw all the other characters in too!
i honestly didnt know where the hell he was going with Piston and Frankie tbh, all along i felt unease. Hope I was lost, i mean what the fuck did she have to do with the story and then he throws in bloody crimson and i am totally and refreshingly confused and i love it!!!
its been a long time since an author surprised me with their plot, confused me and i couldnt see where the story was going.
what i also love is that unike many mc authors his books arent just gratuitously filled with formulaic sex scene after sex scene, as if those of who read biker books thats all we want when infact we want a great plot and amazing characters.
CMG has hit the jackpot, he's got it absolutely right. incredibly sophistated writing style, these books can't be read quickly cos you miss too much detail.
So great to find a 5 star author cos you know i spend as much time finding books to read as what i do reading, so you could say i am on a roll now with 2 5 star books so far from CMG.
totally addictive and compulsive reading!!!

This one was different then the other two books and it kinda drew me in more then the other 2, but I was also a little bored with it. It’s hard to explain. I’m still drawn to the overall plot. I like the club, what they represent. I like the darkish vibes, hot sex, and banter. This wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t horrible. While each book and couple are different they kinda all follow the same formula it seems. I’m not saying it bad, just a little boring even though there are twists and turns. There was some good action in this one. I liked Tribal and Horizon. Horizon was badA** in her own right and I really liked that. I won’t say any more but it was a decent read but honestly, I liked the others better. 3 stars #2OCCJD

I only thought I loved book one but book two with Piston OMG I want this man in real life. Piston is everything my dark soul craves. This man is pure romance genre gold. This book is hot, steamy, and heart melting. I want to just crawl on the back of Piston's bike and be his old lady. This man is going to melt your kindles. Get this book now and fall in love with Piston now. The characters are clear and the chemistry is flaming hot. This book is addicting and will keep you wanting more after you are done. I loved this book, it is action packed. This quote, "Telling a crowd of people they were going to hell if they didn't follow a set of strict rules seemed cruel" from experience it is cruel hearing that almost every day of your life and it messes with your head. Chris is a good author, does amazing research, to the point I thought he grew up in a cult. The Razorblade Tumbleweeds are my new favorite MC. Going start book 3. I hope The Reverend gets brought down soon, that would be so satisfying.

Excellent and well written
This was a great book. I loved the depth of the characters. This is not just your typical MC book. There is a great back story to Piston and Crimson. I loved how this second book tied into the first book, Calm’s Storm and I am excited to read the third book.

I love this series so much , so so much happens with some twists and turns , some I guessed others it was like “whaaaat!!! “ I adore Piston , he truly is my favourite character...... not convinced that’s the right woman for him but time will tell . The cliff hanger at the end left me shouting “who the hell is it?” So I’m off to read the next book

I'm really enjoying this series. It's quite different from the usual MC romance series. It does focus on one couple at a time but it's like watching a made for TV HBO series. Great characters and an intriguing story line. I highly recommend the series but you really have to read them in order.

This one had so many characters and twists and turns you cannot skim though any parts. Take your time and enjoy. You will be sad, mad, turned on, turned off, scared to death, and hopeful. It reads like a suspenseful horror story with a touch of psychotic romance. On to the next one

Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!
(Warning there may be a bit of creative cursing seeing as this book knocked me on my ass.)
This is the second book in this series and it picks up right where the first one left off. We know that Link and Tesla are rebuilding the strip club and things are not going smoothly to say the least.
In this one we get a love story but not the one you might have thought you were going to get. Not too vague right? Okay so am I the only one who thought that Frankie and Piston were going to overcome their childhood issues and become a couple? Okay so Frankie pulled a fast one when they finally got down to doing the deed but Piston would have still gone after her don't you think?
But no.....we get Crimson and Enzo! Crimson is this spunky, knows-what-wants waitress that hits Piston in the feels. She's sassy and gives him attitude when he needs it and calms him. She makes him want more and think of a long term relationship with her. Enzo is one of the heads of security at the casino run by the Red Jew. Frankie is totally attracted to him but once again questioning whether he is worth taking a risk on. He seems "better" for her than Piston.
Now while our two couples are finding their feet others are pulling some shenanigans that had me scratching my head and cursing to the sky.
That creep is still around, The Reverend, and he's still one of the most twisted mother flockers around. How he gets his flock to follow him is beyond me. What he does to Hope, the young single mother who has come back because she will be taken care of and have a better life for her and her daughter, what he does to her is...well let's just say the whackjob showed her his true colors.
We also learn about the Red Jew. He has helped his fellow Native Americans build a casino and turn good profits. He is dealing in different drugs but not "paying" proper respect to the local police chief, Grandpa Chief. Link and Piston land in jail but their freedom comes at some flocked up favors and requests.
Mel, yes the crazy biatch from the first book is still around. She's a stalker and stupid but you have to read that for yourself. Oh yea, and you will not believe the level of deceit this woman is willing to get to.
Yup this book will keep you on your toes, the edge of your seat, the brink of sanity...what other cliches can I throw in there. It's action packed, gritty but you get not just one but three love stories. Even though they may not end up together Frankie and Piston do truly love one another. Oh and let's not forget the sweethearts from the Red Chapel....Rye and Grace....those two learning who they are is all sorts of good reading.
Now I haven't even begun to harass the author about when the next book is coming out. I'm still in a stupor over this one. The violence and plot twists (and how they are revealed) made it hard for me to predict what was going to happen, and I liked that a lot. Too many times 1/4 or 1/3 way into a book and I can guess what's going to happen, who's at fault, and who's going to find love....here I was just holding on tight and going along for the ride.
If the next one is anything like this one....ooh I am going to love it.
(Warning there may be a bit of creative cursing seeing as this book knocked me on my ass.)
This is the second book in this series and it picks up right where the first one left off. We know that Link and Tesla are rebuilding the strip club and things are not going smoothly to say the least.
In this one we get a love story but not the one you might have thought you were going to get. Not too vague right? Okay so am I the only one who thought that Frankie and Piston were going to overcome their childhood issues and become a couple? Okay so Frankie pulled a fast one when they finally got down to doing the deed but Piston would have still gone after her don't you think?
But no.....we get Crimson and Enzo! Crimson is this spunky, knows-what-wants waitress that hits Piston in the feels. She's sassy and gives him attitude when he needs it and calms him. She makes him want more and think of a long term relationship with her. Enzo is one of the heads of security at the casino run by the Red Jew. Frankie is totally attracted to him but once again questioning whether he is worth taking a risk on. He seems "better" for her than Piston.
Now while our two couples are finding their feet others are pulling some shenanigans that had me scratching my head and cursing to the sky.
That creep is still around, The Reverend, and he's still one of the most twisted mother flockers around. How he gets his flock to follow him is beyond me. What he does to Hope, the young single mother who has come back because she will be taken care of and have a better life for her and her daughter, what he does to her is...well let's just say the whackjob showed her his true colors.
We also learn about the Red Jew. He has helped his fellow Native Americans build a casino and turn good profits. He is dealing in different drugs but not "paying" proper respect to the local police chief, Grandpa Chief. Link and Piston land in jail but their freedom comes at some flocked up favors and requests.
Mel, yes the crazy biatch from the first book is still around. She's a stalker and stupid but you have to read that for yourself. Oh yea, and you will not believe the level of deceit this woman is willing to get to.
Yup this book will keep you on your toes, the edge of your seat, the brink of sanity...what other cliches can I throw in there. It's action packed, gritty but you get not just one but three love stories. Even though they may not end up together Frankie and Piston do truly love one another. Oh and let's not forget the sweethearts from the Red Chapel....Rye and Grace....those two learning who they are is all sorts of good reading.

Hang on to your seats cause you are in for a bumpy ride!! A bumpy, exciting, intriguing, brutal and sexy ride that will have you gasping and holding on for dear life as you follow Piston, Frankie and Crimson's story. New dangers, old dangers and just plain danger lurks behind every turn and deception plays a huge rule in the lives of the MC members as well as the women they are attached to. Trying to decipher what is going on in the beginning will have your brain twisting but once you catch on to what is happening it's all full throttle and rough riding to the very end of this installment of the series. As an MC they are aware of the possibility of loss, but when they take a huge hit, it is staggering until it becomes a matter of payback! But there are still schemes to figure out because things are not at all as they seem.
This is an incredibly well written book that will keep you glued to the pages as you fly through the storyline. Piston has always had his eye on Frankie, but Frankie has her own issues and always refuses his advances. She knows his type, knew his type, but maybe she is wrong and if she is it just may cost her a man that could give her everything she has always wanted. Crimson is a spitfire and has many qualities that Frankie has, except she is accepting of Piston's attention and does her best to make that man hers. Who will end up with Piston when the smoke clears? And with all of the attacks that are happening, will either woman end up with him or will he be the next MC brother to fall?
These characters were impeccably written and quite complex. Each has their own dark pasts that will come out to play at some point in the story. Crimson's is upfront more than the others and when the truths of her past are revealed, she stands to lose everything, including her own life. Piston's past rears it's head when Crimson's life is at stake, but his past is not near as bad as her present. The Reverend is back and is still out for the MC's blood as well as new characters brought into this story. Needless to say, there is plenty of nail biting action that will leave you breathless and characters that will endear themselves to you and others that will have you cheering for them in the end.
An incredible read that will definitely leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book and this series!!!

And the plot thickens...
Just when you think things can’t get any worse...
I truly don’t even know where to start. I was hooked with book one Calm’s Storm and couldn’t wait to get my hands on book two. Well let me tell you Lust’s Rage is a doozie...your heart is going to race, you are going to yell and scream at Chris and you might shed a tear or two but damn if Lust’s Rage isn’t one heck of a ride.
My god half way through the book I didn’t know who I could trust and was screaming “Oh Heck No” and “What did CM Genovese just do!”. Just when you think things can’t get anymore mess up they do and leave you screaming even more at a damn book mind you. (Thank god my family already thinks I am crazy).
CM Genovese has taken the MC book world into an entirely new and awesome direction and I fore one am thrilled to be along for the ride. To say I am addicted is an understatement in the least. I’m so serious, how can you go wrong with a bad ass motorcycle group, a crazy cult of some sort and then the fellow wannabes who are just causing trouble for no real reason or so we think.
Piston is an enigma I think I am still trying to figure out. He was cutthroat and very intense at times but then a softer side also appeared every once in a blue moon. Lust Rage takes the MC Romance to a whole new level. There is raw intense moments, lust and sex, a side of romance and moments that will leave you questioning everything. Getting to know Piston and Frankie on a more personal level was oh so good and oh so bad at the same time. You wanted to love and hate them then love them all over again (if that even makes sense). I am officially on #TeamPiston and can’t wait for more of this series.
CM Genovese, another 5 star read in my book. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Razorblades and seriously hope some of my questions get answered soon.
