Alright. I liked this one. I cried a lot, I felt a lot of chapters are repeats from the other books, so I got bored. I felt each book should have told that person side. I felt some parts could have been left out. It is just my opinion.

Last in the series we follow Oscar and Stacey, these two are so different from the rest of the dirty Texas family if you like hot and steamy scenes then this right up your street. I loved following there journey the tuff Oscar finally seeing what everyone was telling him about love and how Stacey embraced the life in the US with friends who are well off. It would be fair not to warn you there is a few chapter were your emotions will be tested but it won’t ruin the book. All in all it was a fabulous read and a great series 5 ⭐️

Wow! I absolutely adored this book. This book isn't for the faint of heart. It isn't for people that don't like a little, no scratch that a whole lot of kink in the bedroom. Nor for a story that will break your heart completely. This is the final installment of the Dirty Texas men and I totally think that she rounded out this series beautifully.

I never thought that Oscar would ever find his one, but find her he did. He tries to pass off his relationship with Stacey as just hooking up at the Paradise Club. He wasn't the only one in denial, Stacey was just as bad. She didn't want a relationship, marriage or children. This made these two a match made in heaven. Until one day it was everything they wanted but it came with a price.

This book shows this couples journey through the whole series and you really do see the relationship develope between them and I think you could see it was love before they even did. The story takes a really sad turn, it becomes a tragic tale and I can honestly say I cried loads and my heart broke completely. Through this part of the book, there are many touching moments and this pulls this beautiful couple and family together.

I absolutely and totally recommend this book and series. I am gonna miss the Dirty Texas Family but I really hope we get to see them through the coming books. J A Low nailed this series and this finale, Bravo.

I had two problems with this book. I just didn't get into Stacey or Oscar. I didn't like that we weren't introduced to their personalities much in previous books. The only thing we really knew about Oscar was he was over protective of his sister and he had kinks. I don't think we really knew anything about Stacey other than who she was friends with and where she came from. I didn't jut love the side story with her sister and parents. It wasn't bad but it didn't really go with the flow of the series.

My second problem was most of the book was told in big time jumps. It seems like over half the book was repeats of scenes from past books and a little beyond that at those specific times. Every special event in all the events since Stacey arrived were brought up. Or at least most of them. There would be a chapter or two on it and then we would jump.

And then there was the grammar:

I'm not sure what happened but her grammar got worse as this series progressed. She really needs a better editor. I just read her newest book and it is almost as bad. I am sure she has tons of readers who would offer to proof for free. I would. I'm not perfect but she has so many glaring problems. This book, in particular, was full of run-on sentences. For example:

"Oscar and I are still seeing each other, and we still frequent The Paradise Club, I have been dating as well, mostly to help Isla move on from Finn, also because, why not?"

The grammar there is worse than just a run on. And there were quite a number of sentences that were just worded poorly outside of the run-ons. She also has problems using object and subject pronouns correctly when there is at least one other object or subject. She starts sentences with "Me and went...." or will write "he gave the book to John and I." You wouldn't write "Me went..." or "he gave the book to I." Adding additional people doesn't change the pronoun. (Pet peeve of mine.)

This book didn't have an extended epilogue. Thankfully. It would have been boring. It did wrap up everything in the short epilogue for all of the characters in the series except Derrick.

All in all, I felt this was a poor ending to the series other than the short epilogue.

Summary:

Stacey is the assistant to Derrick and Sienna. Oscar is Isla's older brother and in the band Dirty Texas.

Oscar is kinky when it comes to sex and so is Stacey. They are non-monogamous loyal to each other for a long time until they admit they have feelings for each other.

They eventually get engaged and then a terrible accident kills Stacey's sister, brother-in-law, and her parents, leaving behind 2 nephews and 3 neices in Australia. Stacey and Oscar get married and adopt her neices and nephews. They also end up pregnant with their own kid.

Review:

Holy moly the smut at the beginning was awesome. And wowza did I cry about Stacey's family even though I knew it was coming.

It would have given it 4/5 stars but the ending was just a little to... Blah for me. Like. I just finished reading it and I don't even remember what their ending was other than it was happy. I wish there was more spice throughout the book. But oh well. A good ending to the series.

I do wish there was one more book about Derrick getting his HEA. You can't just have him as a major part throughout the books, going on about wanting a HEA, and then not tell his story of how he gets it.

I want to read the additional book about Camryn and Nate, but I might just add that to my TBR for another time.

Sure, it's got some serious spice to it, but...that's it. The book heavily relies on the sex scenes, which get tedious after a while. The relationship parts are "eh," and feel both rushed and boring at the same time (How does that happen? Can anyone tell me? Because that feels like an oxymoron.). Overall, I just haven't liked this series. Everyone is screwing everyone. Weird group sex drama. Hall passes and jealousy. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies. Rivers and seas boiling. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria.

I'm just glad the series is over. I stuck it out, but I just can't anymore.

I read all of the Dirty Texas books back-to-back, so I was excited to finally get to Oscar and Stacey's book, but I almost wish I waited a bit to give myself some space first. Since all the books overlap timewise it seemed like we were hearing the same things over and over, even if it was from a different point of view. While I liked reading them one after the other, a little distance may have been nice.

All in all, I loved Oscar and Stacey!! Such a great couple to complement each other. We knew they were compatible in the bedroom as we had many scenes with them over the first few books. But to see them come together and be there for each other outside of the Sex Club was what made them great. Once they realized that they both did actually want a relationship and to not have others in the mix, that was a turning point for both of them.

It was also nice to have it be based in Australia instead of LA to give us a different taste was great. Stacey's family just suffered a huge blow, and she needed to be there for her nephew and nieces. TO have Oscar be there for her in every way she needed was amazing.

Love how we got to get a recap of everyone through this book. Such a great series! Now to wait for Derek's book as he certainly needs his own story.

The perfect finale

This was a bitter sweet read as I was excited to finally be getting Oscar and Stacey’s story but sadden by the fact that this was the final Dirty Texas book. But sadness aside their story was incredible. It was just as steamy and sexy and swoony as I expected. I was pleasantly surprised by Oscar’s softer, more emotional side. Watching these two transform from cynical and self proclaimed perpetual singles to two people so on love and committed to one another was so beautiful. It was such a heart felt and emotional read. And it wraps up the whole series on in a wonderful and perfect little bow. It brings tears to my eyes to think this is the end of Dirty Texas as I have followed these characters from the beginning and feel so much for them. But I am excited to see what new stories JA has in store for us.

fantastic ending to an amazing series

This book was honestly fantastic, it’s written well with such detail and emotion- I was in tears in parts and then laughing in other parts. I love books that can physically move you.
Loved the twists in this book that come completely out if left field.
Stacey and Oscar are some kinky hot AF people, the steamy scenes in this book are off the charts.
It was great to meet all of Stacey’s family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Overall this was an amazing book, the storyline was so well thought out. Especially loved the numerous epilogues at the end explaining the future if each individual couple - perfection.
I’m really sad this series has come to an end, I completely fell in love with the Dirty Texan family… looking forward to reading more from this author.

I myself feel totally broken that this is the last Dirty Texas book. I have fallen in love with this incredible “family” and hate to be at the end of their story. But it has been a beautiful ride.

Oscar and Stacey’s story is absolutely wonderful. Of all the books in this series it is the one that made me gasp the hardest, cry the longest but it is one of the best of the bunch.

Much like with Book 4, I am not going to say much about this plot line because you need to read it for yourself. I will happily discuss it with anyone after they read it but just trust me you want savor this yourself!

Jess, thank you for writing this incredible series for us to enjoy. I just hope one day we get a full story about Derrick. That man needs a happy ending….. perhaps with a hunky photographer related to a certain band member???? Hint hint LOL!

What an ending!!

Omg!! This ending was awesome! I loved it! Oscar and Stacey’s story was the one that I was waiting for because they were both so adamant about not getting married. They were intrigued by one another and only wanted one night, however, their similarities were too great and love slowly followed. An inevitable twist of fate sends them down a totally different path they never knew they wanted. Their love and devotion help them through a tragedy that brings them to their wonderful happy ending. Loved the novellas at the end that wrap up their lives, but have us wanting Derrick’s story even more!

What an Amazing Book, "Stacy and Evan's" story and it was super hot and a wild, funny, emotional, roller coaster ride! Because this is the end to this series, you even get the status of all the 'Dirty Texas' gang into the future, which I found Great because when you reach the end of a series, you're usually left wondering what happened afterward...I found this to be great that JA Low gave us this future look at where they were! I loved the entire series and would highly recommend "The Dirty Texas" series!! Thank you JA Low for sharing your stories with the world!! Can't wait for the spin off series!!

An epic story to finish off the series. I loved Stacey's character. She was different, head strong and knew what she wanted. Exactly what I like to see in a female lead character!!
As much as I love the stories and how they ran along side each other and overlapped, I found that this one seemed to repeatbig chunks, kne chapter almost seemed copied and pasted, yet some of the scenes that would have been good to see from their side were skipped over... and we were back to the ending being abrupt and the 'novella' actually being the end of the story.

Loved the way the book ended with a jump in time to see how all their lives turned out too!!

Fantastic ending to the series

Oscar and Stacy have an unusual relationship but that doesnt stop them from having their HEA.
Suddenly Broken is the perfect ending to this wild ride with Dirty Texas. I swooned, I cried, I laughed, I loved❤ These two take you on the ride of your life. Kinky and hot visits to Club Paradise sure to melt your panties off and just when you think all is working out, tragedy strikes and Oscar and Stacy have some big decisions to make.
You also get a look into the future and it's an amazing view.

I'm doing a review on the whole series. I love all five books. The way they interconnected. Loved all the women in this series. I don't know how I feel about Derrick. Sometimes I feel like he was to much. I'm also upset how the author ended his story. We were told how everyone was doing except Derrick. For a major character in this series I expected more. I wish I didn't have to reread each of the previous books with the first few chapters of the new book. Although is was from a different perspective, it was getting annoying.

Suddenly Finished :-(

I absolutely love this series and now it's coming to an end with Oscar and Stacey story. It's a sexy emotional read. I wasn't sure I was ever going to see these two fall deeply in love with eachother, but their connection turns out to be deep and passionate. Love their HAE! Love catching up with the Dirty Texas boys and a "where are they now" years later. I'm going to miss these kinky rockers!

This was sexy and needy. I loved that the relationship between these two were not convention and loved to have group sex but also loved eachother and wanted to be with one another. It annoyed me that everyone else abated them to get married and have babies and it also annoyed me that all the books ended with marriage and babies. I'm just not about that vibe. But I read this book in a day and couldn't put it down. I'm glad I read this series

Full of emotion. Just wow

This was an epic end to the Dirty Texas series. It was so full off emotion and naughtiness. So happy that everything worked out in the end. It was a great surprise to see what all the couples and families were doing in the future but I have to say, totally gutted with Derek's epilogue. So many questions left unanswered. Highly recommend this series

I wanted to love this book, having enjoyed the rest of the series. Unfortunately there are whole chapters of the book that are essentially copied and pasted from previous books in the series, it goes through every wedding, birth, storyline that was in the previous 4 books and the only variation is the sex scenes, which this time we follow Stacey and Oscar into their room instead. I was so bored!! Nothing new has happened!

The spice is great, and the only reason it gets an extra star.

Dirty Texas finale

I was so sad to finish this series. The writing was great in creating all the characters of this series. It was more than the guys in the band and their females. So many other people came into play in these books. Cant wait to read their stories.
Only complaint I have is the many typos, esp in this last book.

This series is fantastic, they're a group of rockstar that's accustomed to having their groupies but fell hard when that one special woman walked into their lives.
They all slowly transformed into a life of monogamy before they are dragged kicking and screaming down the isle and into the delivery room.
It was an easy 6 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
