The core is the heart of the Imperium, home to the wealthy and the powerful and currently wracked by a brutal civil war. The crew of the Centauri Bliss all had their reasons for leaving it behind, but with the clans coming from beyond the divide and the Imperium fractured they make their return to do their part to restore order.
This story started out feeling like Firefly but as the story got more involved more unusual characters appeared and the story got stranger and more outrageous every book. This one ship is now the nexus of change in the universe with the most powerful and wanted (dead preferably) beings in said universe. The author has said two more books to complete the story arc, which I think is about right and I really hope a chapter or two at the end will be dedicated to a happy-ever-after scenario. This book was a ton of action, some character driven sequences and a twist or three to keep you guessing. I really enjoyed it.
This book seemed like it was rushed or at least I hope it was. That would be the only excuse I could consider explaining why this book has so many errors. The book is filled with missing words or incorrect names when describing characters. That hurt this rating a lot, I would give 5 star rating on the story as it continues on great from where it was left off from book 3. The errors need to be fixed and this is a major concern going forward. I would hope that the author takes this into consideration before releasing any more books.
This is another great read from one of my favorite authors, there are only a few that I love to read (MSE, JCip) but since Amazon has there head up there ass about them we can at least enjoy one of their contemporaries. Keep up the great stories
Good read but need to put in a summary of the main characters.
Really good reading but a lot of characters that are hard to keep track of. Great action but needs to carry the story on a bit more after the mc gets out of trouble.
