This is a lovely little book great to pick up and read a page or two from every now and then. It is a collection of quotes and scripture on different topics. The only reason I dropped a star was because the Bible verses are from all kind of translations which makes it look like it was picked and chosen out of context on occasions, and from the version with the words that best suited. Still I found lots of sparks of encouragement in the little pink book that seemed to come at the right time, a great little gift for someone you want to give encouraging words to.

Nice way to start off a quiet time, but just super basic. Maybe even shallow? And for sure repetitive. But I liked the basic idea of “think about this topic for a few minutes and then respond to a simple open-ended writing prompt.” I just wish the topics had been more carefully considered and the prompts less redundant from day to day. Last thing, some of the quotes and scriptures have been plucked out of context, undermining the credibility of some of the messages. Overall, probably would not recommend.

A nice simple book that was a full of quotes and bible verses. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of counting your blessings
