“You give me a kind of happy I never knew existed. You make me wanna be brave. And bold. Hell, you make me wanna be me.”

Another excellent installment of the continuing story of Tad and Scott.

There is nothing like a little jealousy and clubbing drama to bring out those emotions you’ve tried to stuff down!

I was so proud of Scott for standing up for himself, he was so brave to speak his truth. And Tad, phew that must’ve been scary, but he was finally honest with himself.

I love the infusion of humor and intimacy the author brings to this couple.

“Beautiful,” Scott purred. “That’s my beautiful man.” Shoving another pillow under Tad’s hips, he elevated his ass even further. “Jesus,” Tad grunted, all bent in half. “Must I always be in such fucked-up positions?” 😂

These short stories so much more than gay erotica. They combine entertaining storytelling with raw emotions, excellently detailed sex scenes, and the genuine joy of discovering true intimacy with someone who is careful with your heart.

*** 5 WONDERFUL STARS ***

FIRST OF ALL have to mention the cover,my God, I could DROOL LOOK at that all day...it's very *coughs* IMPRESSIVE to say the least...

This series just gets BETTER AND BETTER , each book is consistently good....

SCOTT

TAD

This book sees Tad still struggling with his attraction to Scott,he knows he has to come out and tell his friends and family but he can't seem to do it...not saying anything more about that.........
Scott, still as sexy and domineering as ever, and oh my...the dirty talk was just DELICIOUS
Tad,still as awkward..and so cute with the blushing and hesitation..

The SEX SCENES are SMOKING HOT as always but in this one you can definitely feel their relationship deepening..

God,he could only imagine how he looked.Body all flushed and writhing and shit.Whatever his appearance,Scott was definitely loving it,Tad could see it Crystal-Clear in his eyes All heavy and hooded, searing with hunger.Scott's own special brand of praise.Tad's blood burned hotter at the sight

If you're a fan of M/M erotica, I cannot RECOMMEND this series highly enough!!

NOTE TO KORA

WELL DONE,BUT...

No more ROAMING AROUND on GR Girl....GET WRITING!!!

I think this episode was my favorite so far.

Tad and Scott finally get their shit together.....

They talk. They open up....about their feelings, their pasts.

But that was all too brief because again, that led to one looooooooong drawn out sex scene that lasted almost the entire book.

The sex scenes just seem to go and on and on. I do like that their connection seems to be about more than just the sex. But I guess I just want more of them as a a couple, outside of the sex.

I hope we get more of that in the next? last? episode!!

Can I just say I heart Scott so hard? Man, he’s a sexy sexy fucker! Tad never had a chance!

This brought the feels with lots of emoting and confessions and intimate vulnerability intermixed always with the hot as hell smex that is so very prominent in this series.

Don’t dismiss this just as erotica because it’s more than that! Enjoy!

It is admirable how the author has remained so faithful to the character and has dragged out Tad's "changes" for so long. I would have gone mad writing about Tad's annoying inability to recognize and accept himself and his feelings. Fortunately, he gets his act together in time, but I wanted to shake him vigorously. Damn, that guy is exhausting...

Up until this part, I thought everything that didn't directly involve Tad and Scott was nonsense. Nice that Tad's circle of friends finally turns out to be useful and nice that Scott tells his story. Even if it's all still so very briefly told. Well, it's really about the sex scene anyway, which makes up the majority of the book.
hngm 🔥🤤🥵
It is quite difficult to find my own brain cells afterwards, the edging reduces me to merely basic functionalities every time.
And finally finally finally there are some more emotions, hmm so good.

Holding Scott’s stare, Tad shifted atop the covers, knowing that this was it. The moment he’d both dreaded and intrinsically craved. Being flat on his back, watching it all as Scott moved deep inside him.
Or more to the point, when Tad opened up his chest and handed the guy his heart.
😍🫠

Easily my favourite of the series, Bringing It Home definitely brought home all the feels.

In this fifth instalment, Tad fully embraces his undeniable feelings for Scott, once and for all, by coming out to his friends and family, and finally sharing his heart and body with Scott in a way that leaves absolutely no room for doubt about the depth of his feelings for this guy who has irrevocably changed his entire life (for the better).

This was certainly the most emotionally impactful story of the bunch, especially once Tad and Scott started vocalising their feelings for each other. It got very swoon-y up in here, to the point that a few lines of passion even made me tear up!

“You’ve upended me,” he groaned. “And now… Shit, now… I don’t wanna do life without you.”

I adored this installment; the entire series was worth the read just to get to this point in Tad and Scott's passion-filled erotic romance.

I am seriously considering putting this on my Fuck Yeah, 5+ Stars shelf, but all the "Dude's" and "You're hitting my G!" might just get in the way. Either way, this is going on my absolute favorites shelf. I fucking LOVED it.

Cruising through this series, I will say the first 2 books i didn’t know how this series was going to turn out but then books 3-5 we are getting more emotion (still lots of sex) but communication finally!! Haha that helped me enjoy this series way more! I just wished we had Sean’s POV… but can’t win them all!

I am interested in Max’s story now that we are getting hints of him and Sean. And also Kai and Breck!

- The banter!
- The banter while the hot times!
- Did I mention the feels?
- Jay! - Seriously, I love this guy! What a pity, he's already taken.
- I even loved Grandmaster Whiplash aka Max. - I don't always get him but he scored big time in this book!
- Oh and of course, I loved to read more about Scott's history.

Thank you so much for giving these guys to us!

(Do I sound greedy, if I say I'd like to have Breck's story like yesterday?)

"You give me a kind of happy I never knew existed. You make me wanna be brave. And bold. Hell, you make me wanna be me."
~Tad~
-----------------------

Another great installment in the Upending Tad series! This is the second to last chapter and Kora Knight brings home (pun intended) the fact that she is the master in writing tremendously hot sex scenes. AND still with that touch of feeeeels and romance that is crucial to make it work. Well, actually there's lots of feels in this book, with Tad and Scott finally coming together, in more than the obvious way. Hot loving sex filled with emotions, laughter, teasing and heartwarming confessions.

-----------------------
"Fuck, I love when you blush."
Tad groaned and covered his face."Ugh. C'mon. Don't say shit like that."
"What," Scott laughed. "I'm serious. It's awesome. Makes me wanna kiss you."
Tad dropped his hands and frowned. "Seriously?"
"Yeah." Scott shrugged, his grip sliding back down. "Makes you look innocent and... a little bit vulnerable." He brought the head of Tad's cock to his mouth. "Like maybe there's a part of you I could... I dunno... protect." Gaze turning intense, his voice went rough. "Also makes me wanna keep you all to myself."
-----------------------

Highly recommended if you've followed the series! And if you've dropped a few of them, you should definitely read this one.

Kudos, Kora, just... kudos.

***** Fantastic, brilliant, fabulous !!! This Kora Knight series is amazing !! An incredible journey of erotic M/M discovery for Tad and Scott.
Tad has to go to his buddy's birthday at the bar, but never expected Scott and his friends to show up. Scott, out in the open, proudly gay, and Tad, struggling to finally say out loud what he wants, Scott for himself and no one else. After they argue, Tad's awakened by his friend with the hangover cure, and sets him to rights about himself. He's not surprised Tad's gay, and tells him to claim his love with Scott. Tad comes out to his friends and family, and then goes to Scott's to ask for another chance. We learn Max and Scott's stories after the fight Tad had to break up. "Make-up sex" is awesome, erotic, sensual, fiery, and deliciously hot. Loved, loved, loved the reference to where "home" was!!!

Gosh this is orgasmic stuff !!
Super highly recommended ! ENJOY !!!

One of my favorite couples… Scott and Tad ♡♡♡

I don’t know how you do it, Kora, but this series keeps getting better and better. Every installment you have me longing for something… And boy, did you deliver.. This connection these guys are having with each other!!!

Scott

Tad

”Whatever it was that was welling up between them, strengthening and tethering them through this insanely intimate act, not only had the power to gild him, but shatter his fucking heart. It was just that astoundingly strong."

This book is about Tad still struggling with his attraction for Scott. He knows he has to come out to his friends and family in order to “keep” Scott.

And Scott, sigh… He is wonderful and so into Tad!!! Loved the dirty talk and the sex-scenes were cute, funny and hawt!!!

“Say it, shy boy. Say my name.”
“Give it to me,” Scott growled, hips smacking faster. “Gimme me what I need.”
“Mine,” he breathed, thumb stroking Tad’s pulse. “Finally, you’re fucking mine.” As if passing the memo along to Tad’s prostate, he pushed his cock nice and deep.

YO, G. HEADS UP, YOUR ASS IS FRICKIN' MINE.

Can’t wait for the last installment, so get writing Kora!!!

I would so miss Tad and Scott!!! And their smexy times! What! Just sayin... teehee

I tend to review right after I finished a book as I want to write things down when things are fresh in my head and I want to capture my immediate feelings. For this one, since I felt like I read it too fast the first time, I re-read it again just to be sure. Erm, fine, who am I kidding?! I re-read it right away just because I wanted to, and i guess in a way, I wasn't prepared to say bye to those 2 just yet...

We finally get Tad and Scott's HEA, yes indeed! And I couldn't be happier how things worked out for those 2.

Tad was finally ready to acknowledge what's going on with him but of course, it's one thing to deal with it with people you know and another thing with the public in general. But due to what's happened and what Scott has pointed out, it finally cemented the decisions in his head and propel him to move forward. Scott was too good for words. He gets it but he's human after all. I think this is the first time I've seen Scott to be really vulnerable when it came to Tad. Luckily for him, Tad knows how much of a gift he's getting from, with and through Scott.

I swear, those 2 are just too delish for words! Enamored is an understatement when it comes to how I feel about these 2. Yes, yes, I know they're fictional, but I can't help it if Kora made me care that much, ok? Tad's unassuming thoughts and words, Scott with his alpha sensitive ways... the natural witty banter, the sincere honest emotions, the ever-lovin' smokin' hotness... sigh... what's not to love, tell me!!!

I do admit that things with Tad may appear to have resolved quite easily, but I didn't care. Also, I felt a bit of a dunce when Tad acknowledged the metaphors that each leg of his journey represented. I dunno why but I felt I should have gotten that but didn't. O well... at least it was laid out nicely for me at the end, kinda like Cliff notes.

Regardless, I'm happy and sad at this sorta end of their journey. I know there will be an epilogue by fall, which can't come fast enough, but with Tad and Scott now getting their HEA, I really will miss those 2... sigh...

I've said this to Kora, and I'll say it here again. Kora may have just singlehandedly turned me into an m/m reader and if her books are the only m/m books I've read, I'm a happy camper...

Kora, you f#@king rock!!! Thank you ever so much for giving me Tad and Scott! Definitely will go down in my reading history as one of most fave MCs... just sayin...

Okay so this is the fav in the series! I love the intensity, jealousy, the push and pull and the oh, my god finally! romance hahahah

This was super intense for me I was actually screaming for Tad to pull himself together and get the fuck out of the club 🤣🤣 I was clenching my jaw with him and felt the jealousy burning my head. It was an AWESOME journey.

I’m glad that I could feel how both of them feel about the complicated situation and it made me soo crazy in love with them. I just love it when adults act like adults you know, it’s soo inspiring 🥰 Even though this series don’t focus to much on the MCs background and personality details, and the trauma dumping was a bit uneasy for me, I still think it’s worth reading for the sake of them finding each other in their erotic way <3<3 I honestly think that erotica always seems super hard to love but this one is just one of the exceptions. The emotions were there and boom! I’m a goner. And the sappyness in this one was 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

And OMG I have to talk about Jay !!! I wasn’t a fan of him before, didn’t care a lot about him but it all changed in this one. He is the bestfriend WE ALL NEED! He’s amazing in handling Tad’s situation making me all awwwh-ing and teary 🥹🥹🥹 I love him :((( He’s the kind of guy that is sooo chill and straightforward, but secretly cares about you deeply.

And oh my, the sexiness and hotness in this series just won’t stop 😩😩 gahdamn! and that was an awesome “lesson”, Scott 😳😳😳

I don’t want to read the last one! Just like I don’t want to finish my other fav series because I DONT WANNA CRY! sooooooo hold on to me Tad and Scott! I will probably NOT be reading the last book soon 😙😙

First things first... That cover. OHMYGOOOD!!! Utter perfection! Now, as for the book... It was amazing!

While the previous four books of the series were filled with porny goodness–which I loved, of course–to me they felt like the calm before the storm. Well, Bringing It Home definitely delivered the storm, since it is all about the feelings. It's about Tad's insecurities, and about Scott being tired of waiting.

Needless to say, the first half of the book frustrated me endlessly. But then... Then Tad came to his senses. And the second part of the book consisted of hot make-up sex and a lot of emotions, tenderness, and possessiveness. So, so good!!!

"Mine," he breathed, thumb stroking Tad's pulse. "Finally, you're fucking mine."

Is it September yet?! 'Cause I need my next Tad & Scott fix ASAP! Oh, and I really, really wish Max & Sean and Breck & Kai got their story, too. Pretty please, Kora? Whatever I can offer you as bribery, consider it done! ;-)

This book delivered explosively hot sexy times, but that pretty much goes without saying at this point - Kora Knight knows her kink. There were also more feelings - which I love - and a few less "brahs" (although there may have been an increased number of "dudes") and winking stars than in the last installment, so I'm considering this one a win.

Overall, I recommend reading this series for the kink and allowing yourself to be pleasantly surprised by the emotion as Tad grapples with his sexual identity. However, if you're a fan of a more structured, less casually told story, I might recommend skipping this one - there are a LOT of sentence fragments and iffy grammatical choices.

This is the one where all the bliss falls apart for Tad.
And it’s all down to two things:

1) The anxiety fest living in his brain, double and triple-guessing every little thing going on and what it means. And happily assuming the worst.
2) Him not coming out and going public with Scott.

Now while the first is firmly in Tad’s corner, the second caused me some unease.
Scott isn’t prepared to go into the closet for Tad which is understandable. And he’s been super patient with Tad figuring himself out. So I was a bit shocked when after all that transpires at the club and afterwards (there is a hefty argument) patient, understanding Scott simply throws the towel. Just like that.

It seems totally OOC and Tad is as taken aback as I felt. And I was angry at Scott for being insensitive and seemingly pushy about Tad coming out which the man surely has to do on his own terms! Thank God, we are given very good reasons for Scott’s reaction later-on, and I (and Tad) had no problems forgiving him.

However, all the ensuing hurt and pain kick-start Tad to have a real look at himself, and he finally has the long-awaited Eureka! moment – and then acts accordingly! In big style! Good on him!

Loved seeing Tad fighting for Scott and going out on a limb for the guy. Needless to say that his brave actions reek their rewards!

With affection and real feelings around, (as well as the highly explosive and heart-stopping sex!) this is by far the most emotional book in the series so far.

4.5 stars for Book 5! I'll use this as a review of the whole series, which gets 4.25 stars.

This was one of those stories that came out of nowhere and blows your mind. I was looking for a fun, quick, yummy read. And I got m/m erotica at its best. It started as a one-nighter of holy-hell-that-was-the-hottest-thing-I've-ever-read between Tad and Scott.

What I got turned some of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read into a truly sweet love story too. These boys REALLY wound up pulling at my heart strings. I was so pleasantly surprised. Ms. Knight can write her sex - no doubt about that.

But my favorite parts had nothing to do with the sex. Because she writes intimacy so well too. I actually FELT what these two were feeling. And with only one MC's POV, that's a difficult task. This went from PWP to a beautiful love story. And it was my absolute pleasure to read it. I can't wait for the "epilogue" book 6 to wrap up Tad and Scott's story. I honestly hope Max & Sean and Kai & Breck get their stories too. (Ele - Max is a toppy ginger)

I would love to see Ms. Knight write a novel length contemporary m/m romance. I would eat that shit up because she proved with the feels that she could totally rock it. Just my personal wish list.

Disclaimer for other readers: Tad is a 24 y/o guy. He speaks and thinks like a 24 y/o guy. I thought it was refreshing overall, but he says things like "dude" a lot. If that kind of vernacular bothers you, this may not be the series for you. It didn't bother me in the slightest because I fell head over heels in love with Tad. And with Scott.

Enjoy!

Reread Feb 2022 - This installment is one big sweet smoosh fest, but seriously I don't know if I've ever read a making love scene quite that sensual, detailed and delicious. I've reread this whole series just so I could read the sixth book, which I've never read. So off to it.

Original Review

So apparently there's still an epilogue installment to be released in the fall, however this book ended the series beautifully. A nice bit of Scotts history is revealed, there's a tender, emotional, drool-inducing, excruciatingly detailed sex scene and a satisfying HEA.

It was nice to finally see Tad stick with his actions and stick with Scott.

Hoping for some more of Max and Breck.

Of the five books so far, this one is my favorite because, let's face it, the first four are all about Scott getting into Tad's pants and Tad love/hating it because he doesn't think he should want it at all. In this novella, Tad is ready to own up to his feelings--tomorrow. But tomorrow might be too late.

This story is a finally for me. After the tension (and heat) of the first four books, I was definitely ready for Tad to accept his feelings and Scott. And I was ready for Scott to stand up for himself and take what he wanted--without games.

Whereas, the previous books are about the games and Scott giving Tad what he so obviously wants but doesn't know how to ask for, this book has a little more drama. It brings in aspects of both Scott's and Tad's lives and combindes not only their secret affair, but their personalities and insecurities and wants--outside of the bedroom. For me, this story was totally hot and surprisingly enough it had a little bit of meat to it that wasn't just sex--though I stand firm that the sex is still effing hot.

These books should come with a warning.

Re-Read 4/3/18 with the added bonus of Michael Pauley's narration
I stand by my original review. If anything, with time and additional, unaccounted for re-reads, I love this series more. I should clarify that the whole "weakest entry" was me perhaps being pretentious. If anything this is the installment where everything becomes clear both for Scott and for Tad.
Tad is no longer willing or able to deny his feelings for Scott or what his sexual preferences are. And Scott finally opens up to Tad telling him point blank what he wants from him and where he, Scott, is coming from. I loved everything about this. Kora Knight is a genius, because bro/dudes are not really my thing and yet I love these two, perhaps because they prove to be more than the sum of their parts. I love the pacing of the story, how each encounter between Scott and Tad serves as an occasion for Tad to x-ray his life & choices. How Tad is ultimately honest with himself and there isn't an ounce of malice in him. I love his inner rants about traffic, slow walkers, and the fluttery things that invariably kick-up in his stomach whenever Scott comes into play.

The "reason" for this re-read was the release of the ABs by Michael Pauley. By this installment his narration has really kicked into high gear. He owns these characters and the story so much that, if you're like me and like to read along, you'll notice that there are quite a few additions & omissions to the written novel. I think they're all for the better. Speech sounds natural and unforced. I wholly agree with the AB choices and I'm sure they were approved or set up by Kora herself.
Overall: HEAVEN.

I'm pretty confident this won't be my last dance with this series.

********************************
I've let this digest for a day and I'll confess that this was perhaps the weakest entry in the series but since I've saved my review to include all five I'm rating as if this were one full length novel split into long chapters because that's how it reads. And OMFG what a great ride it is!!! You could read the first volume, Loser Takes All as a stand alone erotic novella of sexual discovery. A one-night experience that may change our MC Tad's life and just watch him go on his merry way and wish him luck, but WHY would you?

The whole series is told from Tad's POV and aren't we lucky for that. He is sweet, introspective, open, generous, funny as hell. He cracked-up and had me in happy tears with his self-deprecating inner monologue. Some may think he is too introspective but I can relate: analyze everything from every angle & fall into the pitfall of self doubt. However he never wallows for too long and shows great courage in taking the leap to be with Scott, his enigmatic object of lust and ultimately love. Scott has been burned before & isn't willing to be a dirty secret in Tad's closet. Good for him. I think it's brilliant how each installment is split between Tad thinking about his life and choices and then his encounters with Scott, each of which will burn your eyes with goodness and serve to illustrate how their relationship is progressing and how Tad is slowly coming to realize who he is and where he wants to be in his life. Because that's the thing: this is not a gay-for-you story but rather a voyage of discovery for Tad and once he figures it out he jumps right in! And I couldn't end this without a thumbs-up for Jay, one of the best BFFs ever: hangover remedy, confessor and wise no nonsense advice.
Now when is that epilogue coming? and I desperately need to now all about Kai & Breck. Like now!!!

RECENSIONE QUI: https://thereadingslove.blogspot.com/...

description

This is my fav MM couple. I love Tad and Scott. They've come a long way and I'm so glad to see it end happily though I wish it would go on and on an on.

From the first night flogging to the epic blowjobs and sex finale. These guys burn up my Kindle.

In the fifth installment of this serial series, Tad has finally come to terms with his sexuality – but he hasn’t yet made the leap yet to admit it to anyone outside of Scott. When a night out with friends turns into a cluster-fuck of epic proportions, Scott is forced to make a decision. Be a secret or walk away.

But Tad isn’t ready to let Scott close the door on him just yet. And he is willing to do whatever it takes to show him.

I didn’t quite enjoy this one as much as the prior in the series. It was hot, but the sex scene was also too long for me (yes, that can happen). I felt like there was so much building up to the moment, then the moment turned into just too long and drawn out of a sex scene. Like pages upon pages of it.

I still enjoyed the series as a whole, but the ending just left me wanting more.

It was worth the wait!

This book was everything we've come to expect and love about Tad and Scott, with a whole lot more communication mixed in.

Initially, I was pretty nervous because of the way things went down at the club. I kept checking my Kindle percentage to make sure there was plenty of book left to fix Tad's mistake. And boy did Tad fix his mistake and then some! Tad is one lucky guy. He has a great group of guy friends who were not at all shocked to learn that he was gay and in love with Scott. I was pleasantly surprised that Tad also told his parents. So glad he wanted to make sure he had all of his bases covered prior to seeing Scott again.

Speaking of Scott, it was nice to get more of his backstory and to learn why Red behaves the way he does when Tad comes around. Red ended up being a great friend to Scott and an overall great guy. I would LOVE to read more about him.

The sex scene and dirty talk and sexual tension were exactly what we've come to expect from Kora. The last half of the book was nothing but ridiculously hot, sexy goodness! I've always been a huge sucker for GFY and first times and these books totally push all of those buttons.

Great job, Kora! Can't wait to read more! I will now return to shamelessly stalking your page for any new update on Tad and Scott's story and perhaps a few other characters we've met along the way.
