The author presents “28 simple and effective ways” for leaders to strengthen their organization’s culture. Not all of these methods are ideal or applicable in every business setting. But this book does not purport to be an depth analysis of management strategies and organizational culture. Nevertheless, this slim book does contain many basic pointers that are worth applying. The biggest takeaway for me is to respect and value all people in all rolls within the organization. This isn’t exactly a novel concept, but its always helpful to reinforce fundamentals in our daily lives.

Straight forward and sensible. Luckily the company I work for already practices many of these suggestions, but it was nice to have the confirmation that we are doing it right, especially since I am the Human Resources Manager. If you are looking for ways to bring your organization's culture to the forefront and live and breathe it every day, this book will surely help.

Material was clear and direct to the point. Easy to read. Definitely a good read and great for any leader looking for a starting point in ironing out their culture’s issues.

Though most of the 28 listed should be a given, they get easily forgotten along the way. A great read with a powerful message.
