Our world is in crisis mode, but God is still on the throne in this powerful and prophetic book from New York Times bestselling author and pastor John Hagee.Bible prophecy clearly reveals that immediately prior to the rapture of the Church, four powerful kings will race onto the stage of world history. Pastor Hagee reveals who they are, where they come from, and what they signify. Learn why Hagee believes that we are in the beginning stages of World War III, and how this will eventually take us to the Battle of Armageddon. Pastor Hagee vividly describes the key players that signify the King is coming!

Author to several books, Pastor Hagee is a dynamic conference speaker whose straightforward style of preaching, laced wit humour, brings refreshing biblical insight to contemporary problems.
Pastor John Hagee tackles the last kingdom of Jerusalem (and the world) and the role of Israel in the end times. The Last Empire refers to the last earthly empire, the anti-christ's which will be brought down the Lord, Jesus and His army of angels and believers. Hagee gives one a brief history of the conflict between God and the devil, Satan. He delves into anti-semitism, biblical prophecy, futurists, malevolent leadership visions of paradise, and other relevant eschatological topics. The pastor provides data, history, trends and scripture to illustrate his narrative. Pastor Hagee's passion for the topic comes across clearly and lovingly in this spirit-filled masterpiece. On must read this for content so dedicated time and attention is needed. I enjoyed reading this book.
I have been a huge fan of Hagee’s career and spiritual Christian roots for along time. For the past 17 years I have consumed many of his books and I always look forward to reading them. His mind is filled with knowledge and spiritual Christian values that not only makes the reader think, question and realize that what is being said in the book is a thought provoking reality of truths and messages that should be taken seriously.
With that said I do feel this book is not his best book. A lot of it’s just a history lesson of the Jewish nation, which is fascinating and knowledgeable, but if you already know the history and the education and plight of the Jewish nation it can get repetitive or a little boring at times. The first 200 pages is nothing but a lesson on Jewish History and the aspects of World War 1 and 2. The book finally picks up and gets to the point that I personally want at Chapter 8 217 pages into the 471 page book.
After this point the book is a solid read of biblical truths and what Hagee does best preach the end of the world and the reality of The Antichrist and The World Order and everything involved with what is to take place at the End times.
He gives wonderful descriptive knowledge in this reality. He showcases the brilliance of his knowledge on page and the reader can’t help but be enthralled and captured into the details that he is bringing forth in clarity and written form. He takes you down a path of Christian knowledge and truths that make you turn the page after page.
This book is not for everyone. It’s a political book at times. It’s a history lesson at times. It’s a book at times that’s hard to get through at least the first 200 and odd pages. I was distracted a lot while reading this, what was being read in the first half of the book did not have enough there to hold my attention. Finally, when we get to Chapter 8 I am all ears, eyes and page turning wonder. The book takes off and creates a deep knowledge and understanding of the End Times from the Christian belief point of view.
Would I Return to it Again: No. Once was enough. It took great strength in the mind to get past the first 200 and something pages to really get to the point and the reality of the End Times knowledge that one would want in a book like this.
Would I Recommend: To the diehard Hagee fan. To the diehard End Times researcher. To the one wanting to know the history of the Jewish people.
Four Final Word: Informative. Scary. In-depth Knowledge.
Earth's Last Empire slowly sets the stage for our current condition: John Hagee through historical events, Bible passages (especially those pertaining to prophecy), and even current situations helps point the reader to the reality of Jesus imminent return and the His judgment of both true believers and non.
I completely enjoy the historical data that is given throughout the book, the details and events help make a visual to see how everything is falling into place. If there were any negatives to this book it would be the few times where his information repeats itself even in further chapters which can be rather tiresome however, I am sure it is to help the reader remember important events. Definitely worth adding to your library and reading.
I believe everyone should read this book. It speaks the truth and helps you to understand what is going to happen in the end times. If you have not accepted Christ as your savior please do so today. Time is of the essence.
In Earth’s Last Empire, John Hagee explored the countless signs of the end days and how we can prepare for what is to come. The updated 2020 edition discussed the important topic of the current global coronavirus pandemic and how this plays into all of the government’s power and control. He begins the book by describing the importance of Jerusalem and Israel and how God is always going to protect His people. He explained how Jerusalem was, “destroyed twice, besieged twenty-three times, attacked fifty-two times, and captured and recaptured forty-four times.” He goes into great detail starting with the rebirth of Israel in 1948 and he goes through the years and changed Israel has experienced. He ended the chapter with President Trump and how in 2017, he recognized Jerusalem as the city of Israel. In the book, he also looked at anti-Semitism terrorism and how different battles have taken place against God’s chosen people throughout the ages. He also greatly explored the Holocaust and how Hitler was one of the worst enemies against the Jews. Hitler’s reign ended with 6 million people killed and 1 million children murder in cold blood. John Hagee explained how Hitler will be nothing compared to the worst leader that will arise in the last days, the Antichrist.
John Hagee also discussed the battles of Gog-Magog, the Apocalypse, and the hope we get to look forward too as believers and also, he warns unbelievers they still have an important choice to make. When Christ returns for His people, He will remake a new Jerusalem and we will live in harmony for 1000 years. After this time, satan will be release yet again and he will continue to deceive us and we will have to choose who we will follow. Eventually, he will be casted into the lake of fire and his followers. Next, Christ will create a new Heaven and Earth that will last for eternity. We will enter a great white throne judgment and anyone who isn’t in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire with satan.
I would recommend this awesome book to anyone who is ready to learn more about Biblical prophecy and how the current events play into the end times. This book contained over 495 pages and it included history, notes, timelines, and maps. The original book was published in 2018 and this new edition contains information on how covid-19 plays into the end days. This pandemic has changed how the world operates and how we conduct business. It is estimated that the global GDP could lose up to 9 trillion dollars in 2020 and 2021. John also revealed how the world is trying to turn to digital wallets and how the US could soon follow suit. This was very eye opening to read how the world is losing money from covid-19 and how money is losing its value and this could lead to a one world currency. I also liked how John Hagee was very detailed in looking at the history of Israel, the empires of past and present, the finally battles, and Jesus’s eternity reign. This book was a book that is meant to be read and studied where readers can understand the history of Israel and the future Kingdom of Christ and what we can expect.
"I received this book free from the publisher, Hachette Book Group/Faithwords for my honest review.”
Another powerful book from Pastor Hagee. This time he gives a very insightful and thorough study into the origin of the nation of Israel using world history as well as the Bible. From Abraham, the Father of the Jewish people, straight through to today, he explains why Israel is necessary not only to the Jewish people, but how vital it is to Christians as well. He covers the dark days of pogroms, the Inquisition and the devastation of the Holocaust. Moving on to the resettling of the land in the mid-twentieth century and the wars for independence, he recalls the Arab nations' hostility to Israel in their midst, the attempts at peace which were continually rejected by Israel's enemies regardless of how many concessions Israel was willing to make and how every time Israel was attacked by the surrounding nations they were able to repel those attacks because God fights for Israel. His final chapters speak of the endtimes and God's rescue of His People and His Final Judgment on the nations of the world for their treatment of His People. As a Christian, this book was fascinating, educational and hopeful, especially in the times we find ourselves living right now. To quote St. John, the author of the last book of the Bible, Revelation, "Come, Lord Jesus".
Earth’s Last Empire is a revised version of a previous book by Pastor John Hagee, and the revisions are up-to-date to the moment of publication and well-worth reading again if you read the original. The research is very thorough and in layman’s terms, or completely explained if not in English. The book includes the history of Israel its people and it’s place in God’s timeline, as well as other countries involved in the time before Christ’s return. It offers precise information without being droll, and offers real hope and encouragement during the anxious days we find ourselves in now. Earth’s Last Empire will appeal to Christians and non-Christians alike for its coverage of current geopolitical and world outlooks. I would recommend it to any student of eschatological studies or any individual searching for answers during this uncertain time.
I listened to this on Audible and wow! I wish I had grabbed the physical copy instead so it could sit on my shelf on display for all to see! This is a wonderful piece in defense of the necessary relationship between Christians and Jews. Not only does it reveal the truth in God’s Word that demands the nations of the world to recognize and respect the Jewish people, but Pastor Hagee reveals through historic records how blessing Israel and the Jewish people has caused many nations to be blessed by God—namely the United States. If you call yourself a Christian, this is a MUST HAVE. The end times are here, the return of Christ Jesus is but a heartbeat away. This is a rallying call to the Believers of earth to WAKE UP! And stop fooling around. We have a job to do and little time to do it. I hope everyone who reads this book is blessed by its revelations.
This one isn't nearly as good as Revealing Revelation. I was really bored with all the history of WW2. If I wanted to read a history book, I would have. It also gets very political for a while. Although I am a conservative at heart, I don't like when we (Christians) demonize the Left. We all want good things for our country. It seemed like politics are outside of Hagee's area of expertise. I think the book would have been better without the commentary. Still, in the end Hagee did a nice job pulling the book together and making the reader come away with a better understanding of what happens in the end times.
In this book, I encountered a new insight to my faith and my relationship with Israel. I learned the extent of Israel's trials and tribulations over the years. And I learned that the future for Israel is beautiful. I also learned that I have a part to play in this future of Israel. I enjoyed the format and angle the author wrote this book in, I didn't feel bored or over taught reading it. The book is written for people to truly grasp the wonder of Israel and God's love for her. Excellent read.
John Hagee takes us on a tour of the history of Israel. Then a tour of the Holy Roman Empire, the three reichs of Germany. He then turns our attention to the empires of the future. the rise of the New World Order and the antiChrist. The book ends with final empire on earth ruled with a rod of iron that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have an interest in biblical history, you will enjoy this book.
Not bad for history refresher for 3/4 of the book.(History about the World War 1 and 2 and the Jews. These end time books always have the same information. I did glean some good information and the author just say it different each time he puts out books. I had to resist the urge to skim through some chapters. I will not buy another one of John Hagee books. Again nothing new in this book.
I am very disappointed. I won a print copy of this book back in October. The books were shipped on Dec 21, 2020, but I have not received mine. The sop is to contact the giveaway sponsor, but I don't seem to be able to find a way to contact FaithWords. There seems to be no contact info as I am sent to multiple pages. I was really looking forward to reading this book. As I said, VERY DISAPPOINTED!
The book starts out with a panoramic history of Israel. I enjoyed reading about the wars and the victories of the Jewish people in the 20th century. Then it goes into prophecy. I agree with most of what the author has to say.
I enjoyed listening to and reading Hagee for the longest time. This book provides a sturdy build up for the point, but the point is ultimately conjecture utilizing hermeneutical gymnastics. It’s like he brought the reader to the point where his conclusion seemed obvious; but there is something about forcing the point instead of allowing it to be obvious. I think the strengths of the book are definitely in historical research, although much of what he claims to historical is speculative at best, even by Christian conservative scholars. It seems as if he dropped the ball on speaking about the “last empire” and more time speaking about Israel, which, in itself, is an entirely different subject: you could make the case for everything Hagee said the antichrist government and not mention Israel every five minutes: the reason I say this is, because, the entire point of the end times is about the return of Christ, not Israel. Focusing on the then, at a pedantic level, only ushers in a new argument between covenant theology and dispensational theokogy. But I give this book an 84/100. It has everything it needs to form a good theological book. Intro, history, scripture. This all leads one to come to their own conclusion, but a similar one. But Christian’s have to come together about a premillenial eschatology before we start discussion a pre trib rapture and Israel. Had hagee stuck to his main points on the empire itself, the antichrist, the false religion- this could be taken more like a theological treatise and not a flashy suspenseful novel for young adults.
The first part of this book is about history, emphasizing Jerusalem as the center of the world and also the Jewish people and nation across the ages. The second part is about the Christianity and its relation with the Jewish. The last part is about the Satan, kingdoms of the world, and the kingdom that would come, an eschatology studies.
Dr. Hagee never ceases to amaze me with his Heaven-inspired insights. If you are a history buff, you will love this book. And even if you're not, you will find amazing truths come to life.
