Lea Hart writes fiction for women who like their love stories with an edge — and their power structures with a femme hand on the lever. From military heroes undone by the women they never saw coming to small-town romances full of wit, heart, and hard-won self-discovery, her novels live where desire, courage, and consequence collide. Addictive, emotional, and always a little dangerous. Twenty-six books in, she’s just getting started.

I really like this one. I didn't absolutely love it but it was still really good.
I found that it took a long time to start but also that it was kind of fast paced in some part and lacked in others.
The ending was not what I was expecting it just made me want a batter ending.
I have a lot of unanswered questions but hopefully the rest of the books in the series will answer them.

I love Seals

Boy oh boy, to have a true American hero fall for a gal as fast and as hard as Lt. Commander Mark Frazier fell for Birdie James must be a dream of a lot of us ordinary people. But in all honesty, there was nothing ordinary about either Mark or Birdie. The depth of character in these two made for a compelling and fun read. I adore how Leah Hart builds a relationship within the story. I love her characters and her ability to make them real. Now on to the other books in the series!
