Sinful Desires #5

Marry Me Already

Rate this book
I wasn’t looking for trouble.

I just needed a nanny.
Instead I ended up with attraction and lust.
And her beautiful body on my living room couch.
My billion-dollar company was booming
But my little girl wasn’t fitting in the day care
She’s a bit of a handful, as any bright young girl would be
Desperate for help, I hired Cheyenne
A graduate student who seemed like a dream come true.
Until she showed up in my dreams, wet and tempting.
I’d never get involved with the nanny.
Not even if she was everything I ever wanted.
I won’t risk my heart again.
I thought Cheyenne could be my wife in name only, to love and protect my daughter.
Until trouble found us.
The shady group my company has been investigating went after my family.
She saved my daughter. So they took Cheyenne instead.
I’ll do anything to get her back.
To prove to her that the marriage may have been fake.

But the attraction between us is nothing but real.

Just okay

Kind of an odd story about a widower, I hate those, and a young nanny getting married for convenience and turning into love. The first sex scene was Just off and very cold. It bugged me but I kept on. The rest were okay but I just felt like their relationship was convenient and not romantic. I really didn't feel the love until the end maybe. But still fell a little short of great to me. There is a mystery in the background too and have it a little bit of suspense. It honestly was a little over the top and I couldn't see the FBI give a non FBI guy a gun and letting him help with the case but I guess it could happen. First time I read this author and I will try her again. Free in KU.

Very cute.

Marry Me Already was an enjoyable read. In it, you will meet Cheyenne and Wes. This is sort of a forbidden romance? Maybe? I don't really know but she's the nanny of Wes's kid. When they get together, badda bing badda boom - insta family! Then things kind of hit the fan pretty fast and weird. Meaning a kidnapping of Cheyenne.

Wes does everything in his power to get her back. It was alright... weird but alright. I couldn't really wrap my head around this at certain times.. but the ending tied everything together. Besides the danger and twists, the romance was pretty good. These two had obvious chemistry from the start and it was nice to see it grow into something even more.

Overall, weird but cute and good?

Cheyenne is going to college to get her masters. Wes has his own firm which invents security devices. She has been cheated on by her loser boyfriend and then kicked out. She ends up sleeping on her friend's couch. Wes needs a nanny for his little girl. Wonderful story and I absolutely loved it.

An enjoyable well written romance of marriage of convenience. This sweet love story has Wes and Cheyenne brought together by fate falling in love while they were trying to fight the instant sizzling attraction between them. Wes is desperate to ensure that his daughter who keeps getting kicked out of daycare is taken care, and Cheyenne recently with no ware to go and needing a way to pay for the rest of her schooling are able to create an agreement.  This romantic read was well thought out, includes some danger and a few twists, sizzling chemistry and a little drama. I honestly and voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Over the top fun!

Wes the widower has to hire a Nanny because his precocious 4 year old gets thrown out of daycare. In walks Cheyenne, a darling just dumped college graduate who spent her childhood in foster care and wants to help children. In a month a new family is created. Wes' technology company is threatened by criminals who don't want to be found by that new technology. Ultimately Wes uses his creation to recover Cheyenne during a kidnapping. So many themes! Maybe a couple too many, but I loved how the author smoothed it all out in a great happy ending. I love finding fun new authors to follow. Can't wait to see Cheyenne 's best friend fall for Wes' business partner.

This is a cute, fast paced story with a bit of intrigue, and a strong willed precocious child in the middle of the action.

Cheyenne couldn't believe her boyfriend of three years would cheat on her but he did, not only that but blamed her for him doing it. While staying with her best friend she applies for a Nannies job so she could continue to study and complete her degree. Wes had lost his wife to Cancer after his daughter was born and with him working he had to place her in day care but they keep saying she to much trouble and she needed one on one care so her hires a Nanny. Only one problem he is attacked to her. Loved this book it has a funny side with some surprises that you don't expect and action which will have you on the edge of your seat, all round great read.

I had the opportunity to read this book before it had a title, and I must say the title is a great fit. Wes and Cheyenne are two broken people brought together by fate, and in the end fall in love it melts my heart. While the romance did feel a little rushed, it was explained in the story, and was even discussed between some of the characters. Even with a few twists I didn't see coming, I feel in love with both characters, and even Sunny has a place in my heart!

A quick read! Very fast story with some suspense and over the top family life. Sunny seemed more bratty at times than spirited though.

This story is about losing the love of your life. But also about finding yourself through grief. It is hard, but kids make it easier somehow. You have to be strong for them, if not for yourself.
This story is about second chances. You have to take a step forward if you want to make progress and being vulnerable after such a terrible experience is pretty hard.
Wes and Cheyenne are feeling the same string pulling them close. It is a chemistry at the first sight.
I enjoyed this story very much!

This is one sweet love story about Wes a successful businessman who has a tough time the past couple of years and Cheyenne a young woman trying to finish her college degree with a boyfriend who does her wrong. Wes has one special little girl who he is raising on his own after his wife passes away. She has a mind of her and gets kicked out of every daycare center he finds for her so he’s on the hunt for a live in nanny. Cheyenne’s boyfriend cheated on her without any remorse and she leaves needing to find a place to live and a job to earn money to pay for her classes. Once these two meet there is an instant connection that they keep professional until they don’t, haha! They move along together very quickly and danger comes at them and Wes is forced to look at how he really feels for Cheyenne. I enjoyed how Cheyenne knows the danger and does everything in her power to keep their precious little girl safe! Can this be true love and are Wes and Cheyenne ready for what life gives them? Wes has a rambunctious 4 year old he’s raising on his own after his wife’s death 2 years ago. The daycare can’t handle her so he needs a nanny. Cheyenne just broke up with her boyfriend and got kicked out of his apartment. She needs a place to live and some way to earn enough money to pay for college. Wes hires her as his nanny and gives her a job and a place to live. They’re attracted to each other and their relationship develops while Wes keeps telling himself he can’t fall in love again. Danger arises to help them figure out how they really feel.

This was a sweet romance with enough heat to steam things up.

I really enjoyed this quick sweet read. Wes and Cheyenne's relationship starts as a good fit for both. He has a nanny for his daughter and she is able to pay and finish school on her off hours. After an accident, Wes proposes a change to the arrangement and soon they are navigating this new way of life. This story gives the reader sweet, tender moments, some sexy times, suspense and an HEA. I'm hoping the author gives us more from their friends.

Marry Me Already could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Ms. Rose appeals to a heart on so many levels. She tempts with romance, edges into dangerous territory and makes the heart rejoice with a happy ending. It's a treacherous road to forever, but it's worth taking the chance of getting there.

Ummmm

The book was well edited and written. The problem....is was so unbelievable and so dangerous. Don't do this.

Problems I had with this book.
1. Sunny is four years old. She could be enrolled in Pre-kindergarten.
2. He hired the nanny without a background check. Hello? She is watching a small child and living in your home. She could be a crazy person
3. He knows this girl one months, wants to marry her AND have her adopt her. So he has a caregiver for his kid?

That's it. I am out of here. Apparently the author doesn't have children.
