The Greensmiths should be reporting on the grand opening of a local ice cream shop. Instead, they’re dealing with a much bigger story. There’s a drug ring in town. More troubling than that is the revelation that Margo might be cheating on her boyfriend… again. And with a man none of the Greensmiths are overly fond of, no less.
Rowen doesn’t have the chance to hold a grudge. When an attempt on Margo’s life is made, she and her cousins have to scramble to find out who it was and why. Rowen finds it hard to believe that it would be one of the men Margo is romantically involved with, but she can’t know that. Not for certain. All she does know is that she’s not going to be getting much sleep until this mystery is solved.
Twenty-First Volume of the Lainswich Witches Mystery Series. Approximately 52,000 words in length. It is a standalone (reading prior or future volumes not required to enjoy the book, no cliffhanger).
Margo is and always has been the wild child who thinks herself perfect. She has one major fault (besides that she hates to work and loves to see herself on TV)--she periodically cheats on boyfriends before switching to another. All the other Greensmith's know this and when someone breaks into Margo's Trailer and attempts to shoot her--well even Rowen thinks it might be one of the boyfriends!
Meanwhile drugs have made their way into the small town--and of course that is big news. There is also an Ice Cream parlor opening--also big news for a small town--now Margo's being shot at is also big news. They decide she should stay at Rowen's house--shots come through the window!!
Her Aunts decide to try and use magic to figure out who the culprit is--will this work? You have to read this one and decide for yourself!

The paper should be getting ready to report on an ice cream shop's grand opening, but become involved in finding out about a possible drug ring in town. They have trouble getting Margo to help because she is once again trying to decide whether or not to break up with her current boyfriend. Even though the girls are upset with her for cheating again, they all rally together when someone tries to shoot her. This was a great read on many levels. The plots and characters remain fresh in each story. "I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review."
I enjoy all the books in this series, easy reading but fast paced and all the action you need. Family dynamics are easily recognizable to anyone from a large family, you love them all but sometimes they are just a little too much. I enjoy the interactions between the greensmiths, the magic of the characters and always look forwards to the next book. If you haven’t read any of the lainswich series start at the beginning and get to know the family dynamics you won’t be disappointed!
Margo wants to break up with Jasper Stonewall, but hasn't done it yet. Lately she and Detective Sutton have been seen flirting with each other. Is she cheating on Jasper with Sutton? One night someone breaks into her trailer and comes after her with a gun! The only other witness is Natalie the ghost who lives with Margo. Could it been Jasper who did this? Why? What is going on with Margo? You will need to read the book to find the answers. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.
Rowen and the other witches are working hard this time around, but it’s to save Margo before she ends up being killed. A lot of drama and mystery in this book! I was sure I knew who was trying to kill Margo, but boy was I wrong lol. Margo is probably my least favourite character in this series, but I warmed up to her a bit with all she had to go through. Another interesting book by Raven Snow
I have read all the books in this series. Love them. Great story line. Enjoy the characters, they come to life so much that at times I wanted to smack Margo. It's good when the characters seem so life like. Looking forward to reading the next book. Highly recommend this series.
I received an advance copy of this book and am leaving a review based on what I thought of this book. Loved it once again Miss Snow nailed it. I want to live in this town! I want to be in the family. Once you start reading you have to read it through.
I can never wait to see what the greensmith's will get up to next. I love these books. When I get these new books I can not put them down my partner tells me to put it down as I will read it through the night, till i have finished it.
You always have a good story line and the mystery is always captivating to the end of your books although I would like to see a little more of the witch side of your characters
I certainly didn't see that ending coming. A very good mystery with excitement, relationship trouble, and witchy workings. Raven Snow is an author I enjoy reading.
I fell in love with these characters and the story just flows making a book you can't put down and enjoy so much your looking for the next one. Great Reading Everyone!
