I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the fourth book of the Gray Ghost series that I became to love. My favorite genre is military romance and this author always exceeds my expectations. This book can be read as a stand alone but there are prior characters in this book as well. I was so happy when this book can out I dropped everything and started reading it. I was so hooked on these characters it only took me a day to devour this incredible book.

Hawk Ares is the quietest member of the Gray Ghost team. That is why his job is the sniper that hides above. Hawk is very curious of his neighbors. He hears them fighting so he decides to check it out. Hawk wants to know if this beautiful woman is in danger. He calls this woman Red due to her beautiful hair color. Hawk has always played it safe when it came to relationships. He doesn’t want to get hurt but he can’t stop this feeling he has when he sees Red. Hawk is shocked when Red runs to him for help. Stella and Hawk get to know each other and they feel a pull like they have never felt before. As they get closer so does the enemies. Will Hawk protect Stella with everything he has including his own life?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and suspense. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. Hawk looks very tough on the outside but he is a big teddy bear. He loves his brothers and will protect anyone that he loves. The way he treats Stella will make your heart melt. Stella is a very strong and independent woman. Her brother keeps on dragging her down. She wants to find that man that will fight for her. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will have you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write next. I know for sure I will be the first to read it.

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4)
By: Amy McKinley
5 out of 5 stars

The story Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley is a romantic suspense book. It is the next amazing story in a series that I have loved since reading the first book. It takes you on a ride that is intense and doesn’t let you go until the final page. The story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the characters of Hawk Ares and Stella Klein. Hawk is a man that is part of the Gray Ghost security team. Those who he works with are like family to him. Even so, he is a man that keeps to himself. The past haunts him. He keeps things simple when it comes to woman, no strings, no dates. Then he finds himself drawn to Stella. Stella is a woman who has been brought up that family is very important. So even when there are arguments and tension between her and her brother, she still helps him. There is a definite attraction between Hawk and Stella. When it becomes clear that Stella’s safety has been threatened, Hawk is determined to protect her, keep her safe. Will he be able to? Will he be able to uncover who all the players are? Will Hawk take a chance with Stella and let her in? What does the future hold for Hawk and Stella? Read this book to find out. This story has action, danger, and romance. You can feel the passion and desire that ignites between Stella and Hawk. There are additional characters that you read about and I loved that many of them are ones that are familiar as they have been brought forward from previous books. Then there are those who have their own agenda and plans. Will they be stopped? I absolutely loved reading this story and look forward to reading more in the series. Highly recommended.

Vantage Point is the fourth book in the Gray Ghosts series by Amy McKinley. It is Hawk Ares and Stella Klein’s story- and is a fantastic, adrenaline fueled, action packed romantic suspense. It has drama, violence, gunfights, showdowns, grudge matches, hidden agendas, suspense, mystery, twists, intrigue, danger, gripping situations, thrills, and plenty of emotion. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through, devouring the pages to discover what was happening, holding my breath, and being catapulted from one intense moment right into another. I won’t go into detail, because I really don’t want to spoil it for you. I recommend going in ‘blind’ and getting swept up by all the excitement.
I was hooked from the beginning- caught up in all the action, thrills and danger- right there with the character’s experiencing everything alongside them. I adore this series, everything about it- Ms. McKinley out does herself every time, with each new release even better than the one before it.
This could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the rest of the series to get all the backstories, character information, and other pertinent details. As well as the other books being fantastic stories in their own rights! You can’t go wrong with Ms. McKinley at the wheel!
Can’t wait to read the next book!!!!

Thank you, Ms. McKinley!

Vantage Point is another great book in the Gray Ghost Series and I honestly think they just keep getting better and better. The MC’s in this one are Hawk and Stella. I love these two!! There is a lot of chemistry between them and I love the banter between the characters. This book has it all.. hot next door neighbor, bone head brother & loan sharks. This was one of those stories that quickly grabbed my attention and kept me interested and on the edge of my seat the whole time. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I would recommend this to a friend!

Vantage Point by Amy McKinley a four-star read that will point you in the right direction. This is the forth novel in the Gray Ghost series and I have read them in order and enjoyed them as such as they each show a different side of the story. This time its Hawk who is the team member we focus on, and he has more sides in this story that a cube, he is quiet but has so many different ways about him. Each of the Gray Ghost men are amazing, but hawk just seems to be deeper than the others, Stella is a great woman and deserving of a great man.

Vantage Point is the 4th book in the Gray Ghost series by Amy McKinley. There is also a prequel to this series ‘Moments That Define Us’ that is most definitely worth reading if you are going to read this series, as it really does provide an insight into the lives of the Gray Ghost team as teenagers and why they have the close bond that they do. Each of the books in this series can be read as a stand-alone but as this is such a great series, I would recommend reading the whole series and also reading it in order as you do get an insight into characters from the other books.
In Vantage Point we get the story of Hawk Ares. Hawk is the quietest member of the team. As a sniper he is usually found on roofs scoping out situations. When he overhears alarming arguments between his sexy new neighbour, (who he has nicknamed Red due to the colour of her hair) and a man he knows she’s in danger and needs the help of the Gray Ghost team.
Hot headed red head, Stella Klein discovers that her life is in danger when her brother gets in over his head with gambling debts. Having turned down hot neighbour Hawk’s offer of help several times, she gives in and asks for help.
Little did Hawk and the rest of the Gray Ghost team realise that those who are after Stella are a blast from their past who are out for revenge.
Like the previous books in this series this is a romantic thriller. This book had me gripped from the very beginning right to the end. Amy McKinley has an amazing way of dragging you into the story and becoming really invested in the characters. This book, like the rest of the series is a must read in my opinion. As the Gray Ghost group is more than just the 4 members we have had books from so far, I’m hoping that there is still much more to come from this fantastic series.

Oh my hell, Amy McKinley's Gray Ghost series NEVER EVER disappoints! I'm always on the edge of my seat every time, and I know that I can't start any of her books unless I have the time to finish them in one sitting because I simply can't put them down once I start. Vantage Point is Hawk's story, and he, like the others, has some big demons from his upbringing, and it's made him the quietest member on the team. He's never been in love, nor has he have any desire to, until the day he overhears a fight between his neighbor, who he's nicknamed Red, and some man. Stella is a hard working waitress who finds herself in the middle of something dangerous because of her brother, who has a gambling problem, and she always stands by his side. This time the men he owes money to are big time, and they're after her because of him. Now, she finds herself needing her hot neighbor's help, as she needs to get out of dodge, so they have to go on the run. Yeah, see what I'm saying? On the edge of my seat cover to cover. And you know when a situation like this happens, two people with sparks already have a heightened situation from the chaotic danger, so sexy times really light the skies up when they finally get to a place where those sparks can ignite. However, that doesn't mean some angst follows, as Hawk has some demons that come out to play, and I can't tell you why but trust me. Anyway, twists fly from every direction, so my f-bombs are dropping with force. And that's all that I can say without giving up more, so if you wanna know more, you'll have to get the book, and trust me, you wanna know how it all ends! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A great read about trust. Hawk is the strong and silent member of the Grey Ghosts group. Remaining at home after a mission, he begins to be concerned when a neighbour keeps having arguments with her brother. Suspicious, he keeps watch as trouble brews and events unravel. When Stella's life is put in danger, Hawk spurs into action. Can Hawk protect Stella from harms way before its too late?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Hawk strong and silent but caring underneath or Stella standing up for herself but still vulnerable underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the troubled brother or the supportive Chris.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel with the soft colours like the blue and reds or the gentle greys and tans of Hawks apartment as a soft comfort against the fast paced action of the novel. Or the small detail in her grandmothers jewellery box and locket as something priceless and a treasure beautifully written.
The switch of perspectives worked well to display both sides of evenst and was easy to follow with names in the chapters. The reminiscences into Hawk's past worked brilliantly to portray another side to Hawks character and didn't disrupt from the narrative of the present. I also liked the change of setting from the jungle of the last novel to to the city of California. I also liked the mix of the CIA and a sense of a treasure quest which combined for a great read. Fast paced action and high stakes made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it four stars.

Vantage Point is the fourth book in Amy McKinley’s Gray Ghost series. The series follows a team of people, many with military experience, who undertake security missions and similar risky tasks. Pretty much everyone on the team has a tragic backstory which motivates them to work to protect others who are in danger.
In this book, the focus is on Hawk – a member of the team we’ve already encountered in previous books. He’s concerned about his neighbour Stella, having overheard arguments from her apartment. Although initially reluctant to take up his offer for help, Stella turns to Hawk when she realises the mess she’s in is much bigger than she anticipated.
The present-day story is interspersed with flashbacks to Hawk’s childhood. We learn about the abuse and neglect he suffered and overcame. We also see how this childhood trauma factors into his drive to protect others, including Stella, from similar dangers.
It’s an action-packed, suspenseful story. The other members of the Gray Ghost team play a part, and it’s nice to see familiar characters popping up as Hawk is developed further. I really like this approach to having a series that focuses on different members of the team in different books.
For me, this is a five star read. It’s a great series and I would thoroughly recommend reading it if you like action, romance and suspense.

Vantage Point is the fourth book in the Gray Ghost series by author Amy McKinley and if you’ve been waiting for Hawk’s story, like I have, then your wait is finally over. Hawk Ares is the quiet, loner and the sharpshooter for the Gray Ghost team. Stella Klein is the fiery haired and fiery temper waitress neighbor who becomes Hawk’s love interest.
While working on a case Hawk overhears his neighbor, “Red”, arguing with a man and takes it upon himself to protect her. Hawk has been infatuated with Red since his first glimpse of her and after a terrible childhood Hawk will do whatever it takes to protect an innocent. What he doesn’t count on is his past coming back to haunt him.
I love this series and with every book I fall more and more in love. Hawk has been an enigma since his first appearance and his story does not disappoint. I enjoyed his and Stella’s romance immensely. Stella’s backstory was fascinating with the look into her grandmother’s escape from the Nazis in World War II. Hawk’s past was sad and I found myself tearing up at times and glad that he was able to build his own family. If you are looking for action, adventure, suspense and romance this book hits all the marks.

This fourth book, Vantage Point, in the Gray Ghost Novels from Amy McKinley just further prove to point out that her storytelling can only grow and expound upon itself from each and every book to the next. I would recommend that you read all of the books in the series, not that it is terribly necessary as they can be interpreted at standalone books, but I think that as soon as you fall for this cast of characters and the missions that they find themselves deeply embedded in you will not be able to resist the rest of them. That and it only truly enhances each and every book this way.

This book delves into the lives of Hawk Ares and Stella Klein and truly takes you on one hell of a ride from beginning to end. It has bits of everything in it from, mystery and intrigue, action and adventurous scenes, to love and romance to keep your heart swooning just when things feel a tat too manly or fast. I absolutely couldn’t put it down until I had devoured it in one sitting and this being a good thing is also my curse, much like most bookworms like myself. I absolutely can’t wait to find out what will come in the next book in the series! I am sure it will be a knockout much like this one and all of Amy McKinley’s other works! Thanks for the fabulous read!

Vantage Point is the fourth book in Amy McKinley’s Gray Ghost series! It is a military romantic suspense story so if you are fan of the genre then this series is for you! You could read this book as a standalone as it is a story in its own rights but you will be meeting the characters from the previous books so knowing their stories will add to your enjoyment.
Vantage Point is the story of Hawk Ares, the quietest member of the Gray Ghost team, and Stella Klein, his red headed neighbour. There are layers to Hawk and him being quiet does not mean he is not a true Alpha! And as an Alpha with his sassy neighbour in trouble, he takes the challenge on! He is haunted by his past and keeps his relationships simple and with no strings, she is a woman who considers the family the most important and her reality is clashing with it as her brother brings arguments and tension into her life … Throw them together and you get a story that leaves you at the edge of your seat until the end.
I am looking forward to enjoying more of the Gray Ghost team adventures and hopefully the writer will be adding to the team (as currently it is the four Alphas and each of them have already gotten their story!).

Let me level with you. Hawk? Dope as all get out. He's the quiet one and they are the ones you ALWAYS need to look out for. Doubly so in Hawk's case. Also, since he's got an awesome name, it was almost impossible for him to not be everything I had hoped for in a main character.
Stella is pretty cool but I've think she could benefit from hearing the full idiom "Blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb." I get that she feels she needs to help her brother, but come one. That dude is bad news anyway you slice it. I also find him to be pretty rude but I would bet a considerable amount of money that it was deliberate. Family is family but if they get you in trouble to further themselves, cut them out like any manner of unsavory growths.
Lastly, so as not to gush over spoilers, who doesn't love a good treasure hunt?!
This entire series is really good and you may be a little lost if you try to read them out of order. The back stories are very important. That being said, I love Vantage Point the most and want to tell everyone to read this first even though I am a huge proponent of reading book and watching movies, shows, ect. in order.

Hawk was getting ready to go to Maine and be with the others when he heard loud voices from his sexy neighbors apartment. Hawk was watching through his scope on his weapon in case she needed him to help her. Stella can't believe her brother and how he is constantly after money she doesn't have. This last time when he left he warned her about not being able to protect her when they found her. That scared her enough to want to accept her neighbors help. When she goes into work her boss turns her away because some bad looking thugs were in looking for her. Just as she is heading home they almost grab her. She turns to Hawk for help and he calls his buddies to back up because he knows her brothers in deep. Will Stella trust Hawk to keep her safe and protect her brother? What will happen between them once the threat to her is gone?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Vantage Point is a wonderfully written military romance and a fantastic addition to the Gray Ghost series. The storyline is super engaging, fast-paced, suspenseful, romantic, action-packed with just enough twists and turns. My attention was effortlessly captured. Amy McKinley is a talented author; her writing and character development are exceptional. Her characters are authentic with diverse personalities and reacted with realistic emotions to the situations they find themselves in. Hawk Ares, a sniper, the silent type, protective, patient, and reserved, especially when it comes to relationships with women. Stella is a confident and headstrong hot-headed redhead with her life in danger. Their connection is absolutely genuine, the chemistry is off-the-charts, and the flame of desire blazes with full fury. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Regan Brown does a fantastic job with the narration. Her timing and inflexions are excellent, particularly during the intense scenes. Furthermore, she portrays the characters' personalities and connections, bringing them to life. Overall, I love everything about this audiobook and highly recommend it!

What a suspenseful read! When Stella’s brother Max gets her into danger, her neighbor Hawk steps up and takes over defending her and keeping her safe. The book really had two storylines, the one of suspense with who is tracking Hawk and Stella, and one of a treasure hunt generated by Stella’s grandmother’s stories. While the romance aspect of the story was extremely fast paced, I really enjoyed the underlying theme of family and supporting and protecting them no matter what. I really enjoyed the storylines, both main and underlying, and really liked how the story was brought full circle by including the others on the team and their pasts. While I didn’t read the previous books, I still was able to read along and understand the full picture based on the context clues. I enjoyed that the author included this so that you could read this story without reading the past three books, but it would make more sense if you read them in order. Looking forward to seeing who’s next!

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley is another wonderful book in the series. I know when I read something by Amy and this series I am in good hands. I have come to love the Gray Ghost alpha men and have watched them grow from troubled boys to the great men they are in adulthood. It is well written, with plenty of suspense and drama, mystery and intrigue and plenty of hotness that make the story sizzle. It is a fast paced story, that is full of secrets and lies and will have you on the end of the couch. I really love the sense of family and support these guys have and their brotherhood of protecting each other and the ones they love, no matter the cost.

In this story we come full circle when they are once again faced with their past and bad memories and all the horrors they lived through in one way or another. I suggest that you read all the books in order as these are very complex characters and the backstories show you how they became who they are today.

It is one series that should be on everyone's TBR list.

Amy McKinley has done it again! I am loving the Gray Ghost series, and Vantage Point, book 4, is my new personal favorite. Hawk has always interested me, because he just seemed to have a good back story. He is quiet and mysterious, and I am glad the series featured his story. While at first I thought it was a little creeper that he was spying on his neighbor, it was sweet too. He had a reason, a gut feeling, and his acting on it may have saved her life, and brought them both happiness. This story is a romantic suspense, and has plenty of each. There is danger waiting around every corner for Hawk and Stella. I enjoyed the fact that Stella is a strong character, like all the women in the Gray Ghost series. She has been through a lot, and is tough, and has amazing family bonds. Highly recommend the book to other readers, and the whole series. And Amy McKinley, if you're reading this, please keep going with the series! Amazon reads it as book 4 of 4, but I'm holding on to hope that it is false!

Vantage Point (Gray Ghost #4)
By Amy McKinley
5 stars

I think this is probably one of the best series that I have read in a long time and I was super excited to read the next book in it – Vantage Point and as expected I was NOT disappointed at all!! It was an amazing 5 star read that I loved every single minute of. I loved Hawk and Stella’s story, like the others in the series I quickly fell in love with them and desperately wanted the best for them. I loved the suspense running through the story it kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion. The two characters definitely had this spark between them that was undeniable! I love that Ms McKinley’s characters always have a past that comes back to haunt them because I get to see them overcome whatever it is and Hawk’s was one I wasn’t expecting!
Although this book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone I would absolutely recommend reading them in order! I will certainly be looking forward to more from this author again in the future!

The Vantage Point by Amy McKinley is the next in the Gray Ghost Novel Series and is no less flipping fantastic than the other 3 books in this series. In this book you have Hawk Ares who is the epitome of the dark, brooding and silent type and then there is Stella Klein who is Hawk’s neighbor who will do anything (I mean ANYTHING) for her family. Stella tries to help her brother out of a very sticky and dangerous situation putting herself in danger right along with her brother. Hawk has always silently watched and wanted Stella but once she puts herself on the radar of a local loan shark Hawk can no longer watch from the side lines. The build of these two’s relationship is awesome right along with the story that the author weaves. What happens when both of their words collide? Will Stella listen or back down when Hawk tries to help her? Will Hawk thaw his stance on his no relationship rule? I am in love with this author’s way of telling a story and I felt a genuine connection with these characters.

Vantage Point, book 4 in the Gray Ghost Novel series, by Amy McKinley, follows my favorite character, Hawk. When it comes it missions, he is ruthless and will stop at nothing to get job done but when it comes to his love life, he always plays on the safe side of things. Stella, his neighbor is being thrown into world of searching for her families’ treasure. One night, Hawk hears a fight with Stella and instantly he is worried for her safety. Hawk, knowing he can keep her safe, does what he needs to do. Lies, enemies, and secrets follow these two, but will these two find a happy ending?

I grow to love each Gray Ghost novel but Hawk, there is something about him. I could close my eyes while reading and picture him on his job, I could picture him caring for Stella. I love Amy McKinley’s attention to detail and a way that the story just drags me in and doesn’t let me go. Another great read in an amazing series! FIVE STARS!!

Vantage Point by Amy McKinley is book for in the series A Gray Ghost Novel. This book is full of action, suspense, and some romance. Hawk Ares is part of the Gray Ghost team. He values his teammates and sees them as family. Despite this he keeps to himself and is seen as the quiet member. His neighbor, Stella Klein, arouses his attention when she is dealing with some family drama with her brother. Because of her alliance and dedication to her family she gets dragged into a dangerous situation because of her brother.
I have enjoyed other books in this series and as well enjoyed this one. It has a little bit of everything and the suspense keeps me turning pages. I really liked learning more about Hawk and being introduced to Stella. I wanted to see everything work out for Stella and Hawk was in the right place at the right time. I look forward to reading more in this series and like that each book focuses on a different team member.

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4)
By Amy McKinley

Vantage Point is the fourth book in Amy McKinley’s Gray Ghost series. As with the other books in this series Vantage Point is full of action, suspense and a little romance. This is one awesome series that everyone needs to read. Vantage Point centers around the wonderful Hawk, Hawk is of course part of the Gray Ghost team, as with all the members of the team they all see value in each other and have some sort of brotherhood happening. So anyway, what we have in this book is Hawk, he is worried about his neighbor Stella, whose brother has got her life into danger. This book for me was fast paced especially in the romance department. Don’t be fooled that the romance is a bed of roses as there is danger all around for Hawk and Stella. Will they or their romance survive this danger? I can not rave about this series enough, start at the beginning of the series and enjoy.

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley

5 +++ Stars

I could not wait to jump into this story. I've always known I would love it when the time came for Hawk to tell his story and I was not disappointed...This was awesome, and Stella (Red), OMG I loved her and how perfect she was to go up against the quiet one.

This might be my favorite of the series so far..No wait I don't think I can pick a favorite I've loved each and every one of them and the way all these characters play such large parts in all the books is something I love more than anything.

I highly recommend reading every one of these in order starting with the prequel which was a perfect start to this series.

This authors writing grabs you on the first page and simply doesn't let go and she and this series hold a place on my favorite authors and series lists.

Can not wait for the next and don't want this series to end!!

Loved It!!

The Gray Ghost Novels start with Moments that Define Us. There are three more books and then Vantage Point. This series is amazing. While each story is about a different guy and his girl, I recommend that the series be read in order so that you fully understand what these men went through as children.

Hawk is silent but deadly. He is a sniper on the Gray Ghost team. The team is in the search and rescue department. Stella, or Red is she is lovingly called, is in need of a rescue. Her brother Max is in a bigger need of that rescue as he is the cause of Stella’s distress. Luckily Hawk and his team are able to come to the rescue. But what they uncover is bigger than just Max and Stella.

McKinley has a writing style that keeps me reading, not only page after page, but book after book! I always look forward to what she can entice me with in her next book.

Vantage Point is the fourth book in the Gray Ghost series. It can be read as a standalone. If you want to find out more about the other characters in the book, read the previous stories, especially the prequel. It will give Vantage Point a little more depth for you regarding the bond between them.

This story moves along at a good pace and keeps you engaged. Stella has a lot more patience than I would with what she has to deal with. A lot of people create their own chaos, but Stella has to deal with the fallout from the bad decisions of her brother. We finally get to learn more about Hawk and his life experience in this story as he tries to keep Stella safe. When his past comes into the spotlight, will Stella feel differently about him?

Danger. Romance. A treasure hunt…great adventure!

Vantage Point (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 4) by Amy McKinley is the fourth Book in the A Gray Ghost series and my favorite yet. I’ve truly enjoyed this whole series and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I had to know what happens next. This can be read as a standalone but if you want to find out about some of the other characters I’d definitely recommend reading the first three books in this series as well This story is about Stella and Hawk. Hawk is a part of Gray Ghost Security Team.Hawk is one that keeps to himself but has a past that haunts him.He usually likes to keep things simple especially when it comes to the ladies, no strings, and no dates .All that changes when he meets Stella. These two have serious chemistry between them.Find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book/series.I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This book is about a man named Hawk who is a member of the Gray Ghost team. He starts to protect his next door neighbor (Stella) when her brother wants to force her to search for their family's treasure to pay back a loan to some very bad guys. There is a mystery - What and where is the treasure? There is danger - how to get her brother safe from the bad guys and how to keep her safe since she is now their target as well? And there is romance - but how can love grow between Stella and Hawk when Hawk does not feel he is good enough for her? All of these things come together at the end of the book as the suspense builds. What will happen to Stella? To her brother? And to the possible love between Stella and Hawk? This is a great book and I highly recommend it!
