Rate this book
Sometimes life gives you what you need instead of what you want.

The last thing Sharon Costa thought would happen to her was motherhood.

When tragedy strikes and her brother dies, Sharon is forced to step in and take care of his infant son. While her own path in life has left her with doubts and trust issues, can she overcome them? Life, as she’s known it to be, has changed and she now must find the strength and confidence to care for more than just herself. When everything seems darkest in Sharon’s life, Sophia and her mother, Carol, come to her aid and help her out.

Sophia and Sharon have been friends since they were children. Sophia has feelings that run deeper for Sharon than she’s ever admitted to herself or to anyone else. Will Sophia be able to help Sharon overcome her own feelings of self-doubt and confess to the one she lost and found again? Or will their journey take them away from each other once again.

Why not one I love you?

Overall and as a new writer, it was a pretty interesting book as I did read it from cover to cover only putting it down once. I am a bit of a romantic even though single and not once in your book was there an I love you, although it was implied. I hope you continue writing. Thanks, I received your free book.

2 stars. That was bizarre. It felt like you’re dropped into the middle of a story with no build up and the plot is all over the place. The characters are one dimensional and the romance between Sharon and Sophia lacked chemistry. Nothing about this worked for me but it was short so it wasn’t too much of a waste of time I guess.
