The Sean Wyatt Thriller series box set #10-12 - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Ernest Dempsey's thrilling Sean Wyatt adventure series, of which this is Box set #10-12, form a worthy competitor in the action-thriller genre, against the likes of Dan Brown and Clive Cussler - meaning satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed with each and every story!

The Uluru Code (#10)
This time Sean Wyatt and his team are forced to go 'Down Under' to Australia and locate/translate hieroglyphs and petroglyphs left over 100s of years or more by the indigenous Aborigine people, as a corrupt US businessman seeks to find a fabled Golden Boomerang, that will give him ultimate world power.

The Excalibur Key (#11)
Based on King Arthur's legendary sword Excalibur - with a twist! Sean and Tommy must work together to find the trail of the legendary power symbol, that turns out to have supernatural force due to a unique component within it, used over times past by such leaders as Caesar, Charlemagne, Alexander the Great etc., to seize power and become invincible in battle.
In competition with our heroes is Min Woo, a treacherous Communist leader in China who has (unknown to Tommy or anyone outside), kept Tommy's parents - long presumed by him and all concerned to have been killed in a tragic plane crash 20 years before - prisoner, trying to force them to give him the sword's secret whereabouts.
Can the duo outsmart their enemies and restore the all-powerful device to its hiding place before civilization is reduced to ruins? Read on to find out!

The Denali Deception (#12)
Once again Sean Wyatt is up against the odds as he and sidekick Tommy Schultz hunt for the answers to a cipher hidden in an old US Civil War journal, in book 12 of the Sean Wyatt Thriller series, The Denali Deception, by the outstanding author Ernest Dempsey.
The action ranges across the US states as the nail-biting tension ramps up when the boys are forced to compromise their integrity temporarily, to save millions of US citizens from a megalomaniac who will blackmail governments with the loss of power and food supplies unless they yield to his whims - and who has the US President himself in his cross-hairs! Who will win the day? Read on, and prepare to be thrilled in this unputdownable story - it's a 5-star winner!

I like the way Sean and long-time friend and adventurous archeologist Tommy Schultz, owner of the IAA corporation that aims to locate and retrieve ancient artefacts that are at risk in one way or another and return them to their rightful owners - they're like modern day Robin Hoods with their philanthropic idealism.
I also love Sean's long distance girlfriend the exotic Adriana Villa: a fiery Spanish beauty in the mould of Lara Croft mixed with Penelope Cruz or Salma Hayek.
she's a hot mix of idealism and slightly shady motives, as she runs her father Diego's criminal organisation, (though in every case she uses lethal force only where necessary to protect herself and her loved ones).
I also enjoy the excellent prologues that set the scene expertly with a brief background of the focal artefact or mystery etc our heroes become involved in, while Ernest Dempsey's appreciation section at the end of each story sets out simply his knowledge of actual locations, artworks' histories etc that have informed and inspired his choice of subject matter in each novel.
In fact the only thing I don't like is that the books are so exciting and well-written that they become completely absorbing and pleasantly time-consuming, through the engaging with such well-developed characters and plot-lines, that the time absolutely flies by - so quickly, that no matter how long or short, Ernest Dempsey's novels are never long enough!

Why not try the Sean Wyatt Box Set #10-12 - and all the other Sean Wyatt and Adriana Villa thrillers - and see for yourself if you agree? You'll be so glad you did!

The Uluru Code
Annie a curator at the museum, sent an urgent message of what she had found. Reese didn’t open the email till the next day, then forward it to Tommy asking him about it. Doing tours without being in the big organizations he got to thinking maybe one was coming, when a black SUV was drawing near. Soon the shot gun blast had tattered his house. Sean
Tommy and Adrienne are soon flying to meet with him, even though the phone calls are unanswered. As were those to Annie.
The madcap adventure they get into makes an interesting story. As they remarked, they didn’t know what they were looking for, but would know when they found it. No wonder Andriene is always rolling her eyes at them.
Delightful series to enjoy, of their adventures with the bad guys.

THE EXCALIBUR
Sword as true and as polished when it was made. An inscription in three languages with the one word ‘Caliburnus ‘ in Latin.
Tommy showing Sean the medallion inscribed on the back referring to
The Nine Good Heroes, 3 Christians,3 Jews and 3 pagans in history
Why are the North Korean so involved to hire hit men to steal the medallion at a dig site in France and to kill a scientist in Germany.
Once again Tommy, Sean and Adriana are headed to Germany to start putting the pieces together. Of how the names of the men and the sword take on a new meaning. Great story oh how they uncovered the clues and bring them together.
DENALI DECEPTION

Sean with orders from the president, following a letter he found, almost ended his life when he was ambushed. Porter thinking with two shots in the chest Sean was dead .Out in this wilderness was one who saved his life. When he regained consciousness he realized his friends lives now were in danger also. Learning all assists of Tommy and his has been frozen., so neither could leave the country.
Yuri was to follow Sean and find something.it was a mission of the highest importance. Porter’s employer didn’t like mistakes he better fix the problem this time.

A great book to read

I love this series it reminded me f the Dirk Pitt novels by Clive cussler which I also love. They have the hero that is women just call in love with and men want to be like. Worth the read.

Indiana Jones meets James Bond

Superb series of fast-paced adventures. The detail behind each story is so well researched, too. Well recommended. Looking forward to more. Keep em coming!

His journey continues.

Mr Dempsey has done a good job with this character. This character is not invincible. He is showing the beginning signs of aging and he still gets the job done. What new adventure will arrive on the horizon?

Wow! This series has improved...

I was critical of some earlier books in the series over some distracting flaws. The author has more than made up for my prior complaints. I’m looking forward to continuing the series.

Good Read

If you are a Cotton Malone fan of a Clive Cussler fan you will enjoy this book. It checks the box for treasure hunting and history. Intelligent, polite, young southern gentlemen solve mysteries.

always a great read

The thing I like most is the read keeps you on the front of your seat and not one vulgar word. The stories you tell can be in the school library. Thanks for a great read!

Ark of the Covenant?

While fiction mixed with history, some interesting tidbits. And a bit of action and mystery. Love this series even if just for the fun of reading.
