Great book filled with black characters and fun mentions of black history. The characters are relatable and their dialogue matches their age which is very relieving. Plot wise, I think the book picks up well because there’s unexpected happenings that occur, new characters throughout, and cool battle scenes. My copy had a lot of grammatical errors in it though, and there was a romance scene that seemed a bit random, but it’s an entertaining book overall. Definitely a page turner.
