Out of the Tutorial Zone, Lucus, or Demon Lord Akor, finally faces the first problems in the coming months. From building his village into a town, producing food and protection and more, the real troubles have only begun for him in his [Magic Life].
Not only will he have to face animals, monsters and other demon tribes that appear like grass, to advance he will even have to go against other gods, angering them to carve out his path as a Lord player but his troubles aren't only in the game. The real world is slowly changing along with the game and he will have to start adapting as he slowly unfurls his wings.
This was a fun read. It pretty much builds on the first book. There's only one major issue I take with this book. It's STAT HEAVY AF. I'v eno issues with stats being in the game, I do have one when it's a huge portion of the game. Not everyone plays games with .xls sheets open. A story book shouldn't read like one. Don't get me wrong. There is a LOT of story, but there are a ton of stats and I feel it doesn't strike a good balance. Also speaking of the story. This one is a slow burn, but it is a fun read.
It was fun. The story was bland with less clear goals than the last. The English is still broken, so the reader has to edit on the fly. Oddly the “unlearned” and “inexperienced” main character is yet again somehow the expert making all the right moves and teaching others how to play. It’s good chewing gum, but the story and world deserve more plot, development, and editing. Still would like to read the next.
The story is interesting and the litrpg aspects are decent. The problem is with grammar (can be over looked) and numerous errors in continuity. I hope the author continues the series, but he should also take bit more time to have a beta reader go over the draft to check for continuity errors.
I had no idea what to expect from the cover. I was very pleasantly surprised. Straight forward writing with a number of interesting story elements. A town/empire builder reminiscent of civilization. Overall an excellent book.
This book is a vast improvement over book 1, the characters develop further and more twists are thrown into the mix my only bad point is.... I need more the book needs to be longer or I need book 3 soooon.
Solid follow up to the first book. Its a bit short, but it gives some more background on the real world, in addition to the game. Good development, looking forward to the next book.
Great book for number 2 in the series I'm looking forward to reading more into series perhaps more books by this author I recommend this book I enjoyed it
