A great read

I didn't really enjoy this prequel as it seemed like a story about kids and for kids. But because Lewin's writing style is good, I went ahead and started the actual story (Blind Run) anyway. At this point I am glad I did because it is coming along much better than this short prequel for it.

5 pages?!

Disappointed to say the least. Not really a "short story" at a mere 5 short pages long. Spoiler alert: the 2 kids escape through the woods to Anna who is now mean and scary. Nothing at all in depth about the kids' motivation, or Anna's.
