Laughter Effects puts you behind the author’s humorous lens. You will never again look at kale, men’s junk, holidays or your computer keyboard the same. With wit, wisdom, the absurd, and the silly, Sandra Moulin takes you through an ordinary day like you’ve never lived one.
From “Sex After Seventy” to “My Inner Bitch” to poems that will leave you chuckling, Laughter Effects, the third volume of humorous essays plus bonus updates, will put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Read it cover to cover, or savor it one essay at a time, but remember her mantra
I've read this book from cover to cover. The cover is quite clever. Do you see the two faces? This was intentional, according to the author. It's how we all see differently. Some find things funny; others, not so much.
Some of the essays were downright hilarious. Others were amusing, some very clever, and a couple worth a chuckle.
I loved how the author named her really-good-sport-hubby "Mr. Wonderful."
I would highly recommend this book, especially at times like this, when we all need some levity, and for these short essays, it's pretty effortless.
