Curses, betrayals, and broken crowns await in the fifth installment of A Soulmark Series
Three packs. Two curses. One chance for love.
Heir to North America’s oldest pack, Winter Blanc spent most of her life under her mother’s thumb. Now she’s to be married off to her soulmark. What would be cause for celebration is anything but for the unoffical lycan princess. As a pawn to her mother’s schemes, Winter is forced to spy on her new husband or face dire consequences.
◆
Atticus Hayes, the dashing second-in-command and Beta of the Adolphus pack, has waited for his wedding day since childhood. A romantic through and through, he is the living heart. He knows with their marriage they will usher in a new age of pack that combines the ways of the old with new... if only his bride would trust him
But as the full moon rises...
Old secrets surface;
Tensions mount with the coming war;
And loyalties are put to their ultimate test.
In the end, it is for Winter to choose how fate will play its final hand. Will she forsake her family or forsake her heart?
Do you believe in magic? Rebecca Main does. Her magic wand is a well-worn pen that’s been known to weave stories that transport readers to other worlds. Other enchanting pastimes of Rebecca include traveling and showering her two cats, Dorcas and Pudge, with love.

I will admit that this is my second favorite book in the series. I have had every emotion I thought possible with this book, the first being anger in many parts. Sadness was a companion to anger and anxiety as well as many others. The last scenes with Atticus and Winter were so bittersweet and I was glad they were able to keep their soulmarks and she did redeem herself in the end. I was hoping that her parents would attempt to redeem themselves to their pack and take the sacrifice in Winter’s place. When that didn’t happen I was hoping that the Goddess would let her keep her wolf since she was selfless in the end. Although this book didn’t end leaving a smile on my face it was a good read and I am already planning to read the series finale. I recommend this book.
Holy moly, they keep getting better and better!! I couldn’t put it down; I just love being in their world! The only negative thing I have to say is this needs proofreading.. way too many grammatical errors (you’re when it should have been your), some words added where they shouldn’t, etc. That’s it! I’d give this 10 stars if I could, I absolutely loved it!
This book like all the books in The Soulmark series was a page turner and I literally couldn’t put it down ❤️Now sadly I’m patiently waiting for Book 6.Rebecca has become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to the next book from her.❤️
I love that this series shows the strongest parts of friendship, forgiveness, faults, weaknesses and love. Can't wait for the next book in the series. This one has left me in the edge of my seat.
This book was filled with excitement. Winter Blanc being pulled between love and loyalty. Atticus wants nothing more than a happy ending. Someone needs to die but who?
Going into this book I knew it would be hard to top Mr. Vrana. This story was discussed in the previous book so we have a decent amount of background on the characters. I felt sorry for the lead and liked the redemption. Overall I enjoyed. I am happy characters from the previous book made it into this one.
