As much as I loved Brent and Jarrett from book one... after reading this second book, this is my new favorite of the series. Everything about this book was just... better. The story had believable drama, which since both Tate and Chasen had been pining in love for each other for years, if there was gonna be drama it had better be something pretty big. Even if it was a small mistake to Chasen, to Tate it was HUGE. Now do I think that IRL Tate would have gotten over it a bit faster... yeah likely. Thought sometimes truth is stranger than fiction so who knows. Nevertheless, Chasen made up for it in the end so it's fine. The editing on this one was excellent, so no concerns there. This book was one of those can't put down for a minute, flew through it at light speed, highly enjoyable rides! LOVED IT!!!!

After reading Furbitten Teacher I was eager to read about Tate and Chasen. I liked the story well enough but I had a few issues with timelines and how certain things were handled. Otherwise, a nice and sexy story.

Unhealthy relationship much?

Very romantic and hot up until the climax starts, then it's all downhill. When one of your MCs turns into a raving asshole it's hard to maintain that romantic feeling...

Seriously? What the actual fuck. No one is going to talk about how disgusting Tate's behaviour is? He punished Chasen for a MISTAKE to the extent of walking out of their home without even a damn note? The main street would have been renovated either way even if Chasen had not been the one with the contract to do it. So how is ALL Chasen's fault that Tate's store would have to be closed down for two months. It would have happened either way no matter what. The only mistake Chasen made was that it slipped his mind to tell Tate about the renovation. And over this one, frankly, not that big mistake, Tate packs his bag, leaves without a damn note, with the intention of never coming back and raising their child alone, while Chasen's own brother takes Tate's side and everyone blames Chasen like he has done something evil when he even payed the rent for Tate's employee when he had no obligation to do so since someone else would have renovated Main street if Chasen hadn't and Tate's employee would still not have been paid for those two months. It wasnt even Chasen's fault that she was going to end up losing money for those two months. And not once does Tate apologise? He gets a fucking new bakery fully renovated and paid for, for leaving Chasen in the ditch, throwing away their 10 year friendship, making Chasen out to be a horrible person when in reality he is one who is a fucking asshole. He gets to have an happily ever after, after breaking Chasen's heart, breaking his trust, taking his child away from him, making no effort to save the relationship and fully preparing to throw all his so called love for Chasen out the window for one tiny damn MISTAKE? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. This is such an unhealthy relationship and its potrayed like its all good and its the happily ever after people dream of. Frankly, Chasen should have thrown the keys to the new place in Tate's face and told him to stay the fuck away from him and only had a relationship with his future child.
Tate does not deserve Chasen. Who knows. Next time Chasen might forget to wash the dishes once and Tate might leave without a note, pack up and move cross country and never let Chasen see his son again because thats exactly the type of person Tate is in this book. A person you cannot trust, has no respect for commitment, selfish, thinks nothing of the hurt he causes to people and then expects the other person to grovel continously for months for something that wasnt even their fault.

Chasen is more than excited to be attending his little brother’s bonding ceremony. He’s even more excited when he gets to the venue and scents his fated mate. It’s something he’s dreamed of for so long. When he finds the source of the scent he’s shocked when he sees who it belongs to. He knows his fated mate well. It’s his brother’s best friend, Tate. But he’s confused because isn’t Tate an alpha?

Tate has been lying to his friends and best friend for years. He told them he was an alpha because he was afraid of losing them. They were the only family he had. So to hide the fact he’s an omega he took anti-heat pills. But the day of his best friend’s bonding ceremony his pills were nowhere to be found. And without the interference of his pills, he’s hit with the scent of his fated mate. He couldn’t be happier or more terrified that his fated mate turned out to be Chasen. It’s like all his dreams come true. However, with this revelation he’ll have to answer for lying to his friends for all these years.

Chasen and Tate have a lot to sort out. They lost so much time together because Tate kept his true self from everyone. Tate is terrified that he’ll lose his best friend because he knows he lied and Chasen is his best friend’s brother.

I’m loving this series more and more. It’s still a little disappointing that there isn’t much more background on the pack itself and why it’s dying out. I’m hoping that’ll become clearer in the next book. Otherwise, I love these characters and their dynamic.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Furbitten Falls Alphas series. In this book, Chasen is getting ready to attend his brother Jarett's mating ceremony when he starts to wonder if he will ever find his fated mate. Chasen arrives at the ceremony and it hits him that his mate is close, and he can't concentrate on anything else but finding his mate. Tate is Jarrett's best friend and they always thought he was an alpha, he hid the fact he was an omega from his friends because he was in love with Chasen and couldn't bare the thought of them getting together and then Chasen moving on breaking his heart. On the morning of the ceremony, Tate realizes he is going into heat and he can't find his heat pills. Tate is the best man so he has no choice but to go to the ceremony. When Tate sees Chasen, he knows Chasen knows the truth. Chasen and Tate have always flirted with each other but never acted on their attraction. Now Chasen can't wait to claim Tate as his own, only everyone thinks Tate is an alpha and he is worried about how Jarrett will react to the truth. I really enjoyed this book, i loved how Chasen accepted Tate as his mate and wanted to be with him. Of course things don't run smoothly for the couple and they have to face issues to work out. I love this series and can't wait for the next book.

Furbitten Brother is book 2 of the Furbitten Falls Alpha series. This can be read as a stand alone but book one was a good book as well, so I would start there. We met Chasen and Tate in book 1 and had a bit of a teaser that things could be heading in the fated mate direction.....how ever....both Chasen and Tate are Alpha's right??

Flirting had been going on for years with these two, thanks to Tate being BFF's with one of Chasens brothers. Thanks to a misplaced bottle of anti-heat pills, things get a little heated at the bonding ceremony. What happens next is something wonderful. Of course there is the normal angst, heartbreak, miscommunication, etc, but most of all, is the HEA we've all be looking for.

Written as a 1st person multi pov. Great story line, awesome characters, good description to detail, and easy to follow dialogue. Had a few minor wording issues, but since this was an Arc copy, I hope they get fixed prior to release.

jarret was the first of his brothers to find his fated mate and Slater and chasen were hoping they would soon be next.Thd day of their brothers wedding Is here and chasen senses all of a sudden become corrupted with a smell that could only be the scent of his fated mate and he had to know who the person was who held that intoxicated scent that was now clogging his thoughts making it hard for him to function. tests was chasing brothers bestfriend and he was running late because he couldn't find his anti heat pills but he Hoped he would be okay since theres no way his fated mate would be at the wedding but he knew chasen would be there, the alpha he was deeply attracted to and constantly flirted with so he had to hope seeing chasen in a suit wouldnt set him into heat. But Tate is said to be an alpha so why would he need anti heat pills? I recommended reading the first book to the end of that one is the opening yo this one. I was patiently waiting for this one after that Clifton hanger the last book left. I really enjoyed this one. it was a super cute and fun steamy read.

Second book in the series. I loved it and I recommend it.


Chasen and Tate have been friends for years. They flirt, they joke, but nothing else has ever happened between them. Until one night everything changes.

I love Chasen. He's a good man who wants the same thing Jarrett has, love and a family. He didn't think he was going to find it, much less the way he did. He didn't expect to approach Tate like that, but he doesn't regret it. He's all he wants in a man.

Tate didn't want to lose his friendship with Jarrett and his siblings, so he hid from them that he is an omega. What at first would be an innocent lie turned into years of silence, and it isn't easy to say the truth. He didn't want to lose them. He could not bear that Chasen did not love him. He has loved him for years, but he had not allowed himself to think of him that way.

I love them together. They have been friends for so long that they have a special complicity.

I loved seeing Jarrett, Brent, and the children. And Slater and Jonica. I want them to have a happy ending too.

Forbidden Rules: Best Friend's Brother
I read several books lately featuring MCs, one of which is the best friend of the other's brother. Each author has set up their stories differently. The age gaps varied and does the length of time the MCs have been attracted to one another. The main reason they weren't a couple was because it was an unspoken forbidden rule not to go after your best friend's brother. It was a breaking are the bro code.

I trusted you! I feel like I don't even know you! How could you?! Did you force him? Seduce him? Or other variations on that theme when the secret romance comes to light. The guilt. Feeling like a trust has been broken and ultimate type of betrayal.

But what if you'd concealed the fact that you were an Omega amongst a set of Alphas for many years? Then mated with your brother's best friend. Drama drama drama. Still there were quite a few incredibly sweet moments. It's a nice addition to the Forbidden Falls series.

Now that Chasen is doing well financially and his brother has found his fated mate, Chasen wants that, too. And oooh Nelly! He not only finds him, he tags and bags Tate in the most spectacularly embarrassing way.

So you would think that things would go smoothly because they are great friends and have known each other for years, right? Wrong. Lol. The author has to throw in some miscommunication, self - pity and a bit of groveling before we can get that HEA.

But really, Chasen is sweet and romantic and funny. When Tate calls him because his water broke, Chasen arrives at the bakery and says "Christ, Tate, look what you did to the floor!...It's wetter than you were that first night we were together." Lol. So maybe he can be a little inappropriate. Luckily, Tate loves him anyway.

This well-written, heartwarming MM wolf shifter romance was delightful & I absolutely enjoyed reading it. The characters are well-developed & have individual personalities & they react with realistic emotions to the circumstances they find themselves in. This is a great story of Tate making decisions to protect his friendships and his heart, doing what he thinks is best for himself. Chasen has always liked Tate, flirting and chatting whenever they were together. He is looking for his dreams, a bid for a big project for the city, and looking for his fated mate. What can one split decision, one oversight do to your future? The characters are incredible. Their emotions and life experiences are so real and relatable that you get brought into the story and feel like you are living everything with them. The storyline has some twists and rollercoaster moments that keep you hooked and romance, love, and spice to keep your heart engaged. Great read. Looking forward to Slater's story.

Chasen is going to his brothers wedding while there he smells his mate he knows who it is but isn’t Tate an alpha?. Tate is running late to the wedding because he can’t find his heat surppresent pills, he’s been pretending to be an alpha when he’s actually an omega and the pills help him with that. But Tate goes to the wedding thinking that he should be okay without then for a couple of hours and what would be the chance that he find his mate at this wedding and when he see’s Chasen all dressed up looking gorgeous in his suit the unthinkable happens and Tate goes into heat he’s in big trouble. I loved this story actually this series Preston Walker is one of the greats when it comes to m/m mpreg stories, if there’s a book of his to read I will read it. This is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Took me awhile to get use to Wesley's narration but once I got into it I really enjoyed listening to his voice...
I've always enjoyed Preston's novels and this one was no different, it's been awhile since I've read/listened to one.
This one is a little different than what I've read before...Tate is best man at his friend Jared's bonding ceremony and can't find his anti-heat pills which is a problem because one everyone thinks he's an Alpha and two, well for obvious reasons.
Chasen is brothers with Jared and Tate's friend...on the night of the bonding ceremony Tate goes into heat and he finds his fated mate is Chasen... there's a lot of drama and sappiness but also be prepared to laugh too while listening to this...
It did start out steamy but half way through it was basically tame.

Tate had always wanted Chasen but did not think he could be his fate mate.
As he was getting ready for his friends wedding Tate searched frantically for his heat suppressant pill but in the end went without them and hoped for the best. Once there he starts to feel ill as he goes into heat but tries to get through the wedding anyway. Chasen is talking to his brothers when he catches whiff of a lovely scent the scent of his fated mate but going into the hallway all he sees is Tate who has always seems to be alpha. Then as the ceremony progresses he realizes Tate is getting more upset confirming he is in heat and his mate. A Shifter romance to relax and enjoy.

Tate has been secretly lusting after Chasen for awhile now. The day of his best friend bonding ceremony is the day he can't find his heat suppressing pills. Chasen is happy for his brother for finding his fated mate. Everything is working well for him in his job. He feels that only if he had someone to share it with. Chasen just can't help feel a little jealous of his brother. Until he scents his fated mate and realizes who it is and he's confused and happy all at the same time. I enjoyed reading this book. Fantastic times 2! Jarrett's bonding ceremony and Chasen is overwhelmed by the most intoxicating smell that totally oblierates his olfactory system. Tate and Chasen always had a heated, friendly aggressive friendship, with Tate secretly crushing on Chasen. Tate couldn't find his anti-heat pills, but didn't expect his fated mate to be attending so, what could go wrong? He was looking forward to seeing Chasen dressed up though. What could go wrong? LoL Wedding gonna be fun. Reception gonna be a blast! Absolutely wonderful read. Totally delightful Mr. Walker continues to bring us characters we can absolutely adore and enjoy while weaving a terriffic tale to keep us entertained and rivited. Well done! Well that is until the day of Jarrett & Trent's Bonding Day when he can't find what he needs to 'hide' himself & it's because of this is true sent goes calling out to Chasen & for him to be able to come accustomed to Chasen's sent, which shocks the pair of them.
I don't think that Tate knew what he was taking would hide his true sent do his true lifemate would be able to sense him & vice versa.

I love these Brothers. I did read the series out of order but if you love one book you will love them all. All three brothers are alphas and have been wanting to find their fated mates. This is book 2 and about Chasen. He has been flirting back and forth with Tate for so long, but Tate is an alpha....or is he? On the day of his brother's bonding ceramony Chasen gets a nose full of fated mate, but it is coming fron Tate. That day Tate could not find his pills the supress his heat, and now of all time he is ful blow heat. This book follows the relationship of Chasen and Tate and how to get their relationship to work, especially when a misunderstanding can ruin it all. Love all the characters in these books, they are fun, sexy, and close ans friends and family can be. Love the HEA

Jarrett found his but it seemed that Chasen and Slater might not. Until Chasen catches the scent of his fated mate. Tate turns out to be him. Everyone assumed he was an Alpha so when they find out otherwise everyone is shocked. A lovely read with wonderful characters with a HEA once Chasen does everything to fix the mistake he made that drove Tate away.

Chasen and Tate like to flirt and joke around but when Tate forgets to take his meds, his long held secret is going to be revealed and will have a huge impact.
This is a great story with characters that are interesting and diverse and a storyline that keeps your attention. There is explosive chemistry, steamy sexy times, laughs, ups and downs, misunderstandings, secrets, and more. Love prevails despite all the obstacles and leads to a beautifully heartfelt HEA.
I enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it and this series.

Tate has hidden his Omega self for years by taking heat suppression pills, but the problem with that is that it also has suppressed his scent to the point that his mate could not tell that he was His. When he can not find his pills on the day of his best friends wedding. His Mate who ends up being his best friends brother who he has been in love with for years can finally scent him.
this was an amazing story, with tons of emotion, angst and great characters who will have you begging for more of this series!!

Chasen and Tate had been flirting for years but didn't realize they were fated until the night Tate couldn't find his heat pills. The reason for Tate hiding in plain sight was bittersweet because it's the reason he lost so many years as Chasen's fated mate. It sucked that Tate let one lapse in Chasen's memory dictate so much considering it wasn't a blatant lie and it wasn't malicious. Chasen more than made it up to Tate by making his dream a reality without him personally shelling out all that money. I laughed at the One Tree Hill reference because I still remember the scene from so long ago.

Tate and Jarrett had been friends for years so Tate knew Jarrett’s brothers almost as well. Chasen and Tate had constantly flirted and teased each other but with them both being Alphas nothing was ever going to come of it.
On the day of Jarrett and Brent’s bonding ceremony Tate was unable to find his anti heat pills, and as an Omega masquerading as an Alpha this was bad news.
As soon as Chasen caught the scent of an Omegs heat he knew it was his fated mate but he only person he could see was Tate and he knew he was Alpha.
The second book in the Furbitten Falls series and just as good as the first.

Nice read with HEA

Chasen and state's story is really nice. It started in the end of book1 and we know they move quickly. There's a few twists and turns to get to their happy ending. Nice sweet read.

The editing continuation errors were more pronounced in this book. A few samples:- After the Friday night fling, Tate was at work Monday, however the next few chapters kept alluded to him having sex with Chasen 'yesterday'. The tables after the diner refurb were initially black, then white. At the very end when we're invited to read the next book, it's referred to as book2 not book3. It doesn't detract from the plot, just annoying.

Furbitten Brother by Preston Walker is a fun read. You have an omega in hiding... until a surprise heat outside him and his friend turns out to be his Fated Mate! You have a taste of best friend's brother. And it's a shifter mpreg. I love the story - sweet, funny, sexy... and I love the characters. Chasen and Tate are amazing and the supporting characters are great too. I really love this series.

You will fall in love with Chasen and Tate’s story. At first you think they have it too easy and their story will be angst free but life isn’t always that easy and there will always be something stepping in your way of happiness. And in their case it was a simple mistake made by Chasen that impacted Tate’s bakery. A bakery that means so much to him. He will have to do a lot to get him fated mate back.

Loved this book from beginning to end and can’t wait to read Slaters story next!

I loved the first book so much I was tickled when this book came out. We had already met Tate and Chasen and I was so excited to learn their story. Everything was perfect in the beginning, then it wasn't. Chasen failed to tell Tate about a renovation job for the city due to his excitement with his new mate, Tate. I was so upset with Tate for over reacting and the way he was just willing to throw it all away. I was impressed with Chasen for kissing up and taking the blame. I'm looking forward to Slater's story.
