i really enjoyed the first 15 or so of the short stories....unfortunately as i continued on (in my humble opinion) the stories seemed to be less developed (especially the last 2) and the editing was a little wanting (characters misidentified....characters names spelled differently......words misused...) minor errors........but distracting none the less......the savannah series seemed to be the most thoughtful & developed.......
As each mini series went on, the less I enjoyed them. Until I got to the last two, they just seemed to be so long and involved . The 19th came on too fast with too many characters introduced in such a short time I found myself slipping back to see who was who. The first set I thoroughly enjoyed and could read one in a sit. They were great.
You had good story lines but you desperately need an editor. You also need to do a lite research. Also I am so tired of the words, smirk, shriek, etc everyone in these books are either smirking or shrieking or other words you use repetitively. One saving grace you don’t post the recipes in the book. Oh and by the way birds don’t curl up! Thanks june
This is one of the most poorly written books I have read. After the second story, I stopped. Some form of the word snicker is used repeatedly and the reader finds themself looking for all the Snickers and grammatical errors instead of reading the books. This is poorly written as well as poorly edited. Shame on you.
Some really good. Some not so. The typos more numerous than I can count. But it was definitely worth the ninety-nine cents I paid for the set. I think my favorite was the first set. With the bakery. And the kids that worked there. And the burgeoning romance with the cop and the Desert’s Emporium. Think her name was Molly. I’m bad with names.
There are 20 books in this set and they are the different series that were all written by the same author. Two of the series have a connection so you get to read about some characters from the first books and get to know them even better. You have to read this collection if you want to know more.
This is 2 groups of fun and intriguing books. The first group includes a romance that ends in an engagement. While the second group is of a family mornings the patriarch who went to sea but never returned. Both woman help fight crime in their local area as nd the story line makes it hard to put down till the end.
These books were very captivating and kept my interest until the very end. I had a very hard time putting them down to do my daily chores lol i would reccommend them to anyone who loves coz
These books were very captivating and kept my interest until the very end I had a very hard time putting down the stories to do my daily chores lol
Each of these mysteries were interesting and kept you wondering who done it. The very last story in the collection was the least entertaining. For some reason it seemed to drag on, that is why I gave the collection 4 stars.
20 books with 20 great crimes to be solved. Started out slow but kept building. I have to admit by book 20 I found myself working the last crime. Was surprised by the outcome, and had cleared the murderer in my mind.
A very easy and quick read. Entertaining and fun with a bit of mystery and intrigue. I enjoyed this book and didn't have to concentrate too hard to keep the story straight.
While I enjoyed the first twelve books and the Petite Savannah Mysteries, I can't say the same for the other six books. I didn't find those characters likeable or interesting . I found myself skimming many of the pages in those six books.
This was a nice collection of short cozy mysteries with interesting storylines and character. I recommend this collection for those who love cozy mysteries.
I enjoyed the short stories without a lot of superfluous suspects, clues, descriptions and all unnecessary drama. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys short cozy mysteries.
