Even an Easter egg hunt can uncover a murder

The Sinful Ladies Society and God's Wives have a competition for a children's egg hunt to see who has more eggs collected by the children. Before the hunt even begins as Fortune is hiding eggs, she trips and falls and uncovers a dead body. A bearded man is seen running away. Now they have to find out who the dead person is and who the bearded man is. Ahmad is still out hunting for Fortune and every criminal wants to cash in on the reward money. Ida Belle, Gertie and Carter are not about to let that happen.

Not the caliber of the "Miss Fortune" series I've come to expect.

The characters' personalities don't jive with the original ones. In this book they do not have depth and richness I have come to expect. The hilarious witty Bangor is missing. The folks in this book seemed cranky and mean-spirited much more than usual. The humor I enjoy so much in the originally series is not represented in this one. Disappointed.

Disappointed

This book was not as good as the other ones before this one. I lost interest and made myself finish it.
