As a student of economics, I saw the name of the book and decided that it would be very interesting for me to get acquainted with it and I enjoyed reading. Everyone understands that supply and demand in our modern world play an important role, supply is formed on the basis of demand in order to understand how much products need to be manufactured. Every year they try to improve the supply chain to reduce costs and time. In the book "Futureproof supply chain" the author tells us about modern methods of supply. Also, about the problems and benefits of such chains. I believe that after reading the book, you can draw useful conclusions and make your own analysis. An interesting and informative book, and especially a universal topic that is familiar to all. I recommend everyone read the "Futureproof supply chain", especially for people who are interested in or studying economics.

Supply chain strategy and structure

This is a book that discusses the supply chain logistics in a continually changing world economic platform. Supply chain is key to the success of almost any business in the world and the advance in technology brings these challenges to the small business as well as the big corporations. Jason Schenker has a good handle on the importance of planning for the future and assuring the success of your business supply chains. I have been in the logistics field for many years and the information in futureproof supply chain is useful. Any one who is a key player in this field should take the time to read this book and learn the ideas and strategy that is introduced. I found it to be very interesting and practical.

Good book; easy to digest. While much of the information seems nested in "personal perspective and theoretical constructs", there are some rather worthwhile nuggets found throughout. Much of the content is a 30,000 ft view of details, but this book serves as a catalyst for additional reading and exploring constructs written about by am author who shamelessly plugs his other books throughout the pages of this one. With chapters averaging about three pages in length, it is easy to "breeze" through the narrative and is written in such a simplistic nature that almost anyone could understand concepts being discussed. Light read with a cup of coffee in the morning. I recommend for anyone holding a supply chain leadership title.
