I love this author but was very disappointed in this series. it just drones on and on so much that I had to skip pages ahead to get away from pages and pages of tree and park descriptions to name a few! it was a very boring book. I will be careful not to buy any books from this series again.

Cute, clever series!

These are delightful, cozy mysteries with interesting, entertaining characters. Each mystery is self contained but there is a continuing time line between books. Another murder to solve, with dreams from her deceased twin sister, for our heroine is a quick, entertaining, relaxing read.

A fun, light read.

While the plot deals with the mundane of life, it flows logically to an obvious conclusion. The paranormal stuff is kept to an almost believable level, overly explained through normal mental processes. Explanations for the protagonist's anxieties get a bit tiresome, and the convenient best friend with access to police investigations is quite contrived. The boyfriends are cardboard representations, don't matter much to the story, but serve as appealing distractions.

I love this author. I have now read all of her books. The only thing that disapointed me about this series is the main character in this book is not at all in touch with her paranormal abilities. She is suppose to be helping the police but she really doesn't. If the author writes more in this series I hope Shelly becomes more aware. I still enjoyed the book in spite of my frustration. My hubby laughed at Mr cuz I was constantly yelling at the leading character to see it. Lol

Great books

This is the third of Ms. Whiting's Cozy book series. Again I really loved this one. I read other reviews and although a few I read were not very good, I guess I would say I'm more into these types of books. Not totally serious but very enjoyable. I'm so sorry the 3 book series all seem to have come to an I will continue to hope she'll write another for each. Keep writing...

Hard to put down.

I was so excited to see a new book in this series. Every book by this author has not disappointed me. The characters are always interesting and the plots are well thought out. My only complaint is that I wish I wasn't caught up with all of the series. Now I have to wait until the next one is released.

Good book

Sometimes it got a bit wordy on descriptions .
Kept my interest to the point of staying up way past my bedtime just to find out who did it. Little tid bits throughout kept one wondering who.
It was great having clean language through out the whole book. No swearing awesome!
My mother could read this one. I will be reading more of her books.

Great mystery!

This is the fourth series by JA Whiting that I have read and I have never been disappointed. I've enjoyed the character development of Shelly and her friends as well her terrific cat Justice. There were false trails aplenty; I was surprised at the identity of the killer I sure hope this isn't the end of this series.

I loved it!

Don't read the last chapter! You won't know who did it until then. Lots of suspects and surprises! Only proves that people aren't all good or all bad. Most are a mix of both. Hopefully, more good! Enjoy a great read. This one is hard to put down.

Another great story in the series

This has been a fun series. Love the characters and fun seeing them grow and change. Nice mystery with a few twists to make it hard to guess who the murderer is. Look forward to book 6.

Good cozy mystery

I like the Paxton Park main characters. It wasn't easy to figure out who the killer was. I hope there will be more books in this series.

A very good read.

I enjoy the Paxton Park series. I almost had this figured out but then I didn't get it solved.. That makes a good mystery.
