A sweet, clean, historical western Mail Order Brides series. In The Brides of Prairie Creek Ranch series, your heart will be warmed as you meet and get to know three William, his brother, Andrew, and their friend, Peter who have been sent by Mr. Smith, their boss to start up a new sister ranch in Colorado. Join along with these three as they each order a bride... and see how their new unexpected destiny unfolds as they get to know each girl. It may not be what they bargained for!
In this second book of the series, find out what happens as ranch hand, Andrew decides to advertise for a bride himself. He figures his chances of meeting the girl of his dreams right there near the ranch are slim to none.
Upon meeting Lucy, he discovers she's extremely shy, quiet and uncomfortable. Although she gets along well enough with Andrew, she can't seem to fit in with the rest of the group. She can't shake the feeling that she feels unaccepted and that the others are simply being polite. Soon she becomes increasingly withdrawn - and then after overhearing part of a conversation, she shys away from Andrew as well.
Andrew tries his best to reassure her, but cannot seem to get through. And she certainly wasn't expecting to travel across the country to live in a situation such as this. What becomes of this circumstance now?
I've enjoyed this story from the series, Brides of Prairie Creak Ranch, the young woman finds herself left alone, after the death of her Aunt. She feels that her only hope is to become a Mail order bride. The author has kept the story close to heart.
