Incredible book about an AMAZING and gifted woman.
I am so thrilled that Suzanne wrote this book about Mavis, her life and most importantly the evolving of her amazing gift, given to her by "the god source".
I've met/been at workshops that Mavis has taught at, and I can honestly say she is the most connected Medium I have ever met. I am blessed to have been trained in mediumship by top teachers who were originally trained by her.
This book is a must read for anyone being trained in, considering or works as a medium.

Inspiring Memoir of a Legendary Medium
As someone who has just started her journey into mediumship development, I am so grateful to have discovered Mavis Pitilla so early on. She surely sets the tone for the level of integrity every medium should strive for, and carries a depth of devotion and service to God and the Spirit world that is so refreshing and needed in our Universe. Thank you so much Mavis for everything you have done, and what you continue to do for us on the other side. We love you so much!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Not sure how I came across it… but so glad I did; I’ve just bought another by the same author.
Not just an interesting biography in its own right; the author did an amazing job of capturing and explaining what is means to be psychic and medium. I’ve never come across anything that explains the mechanics so weak: like, what do you mean you can see spirits; what can you see? She answers.
I read this book quickly and enjoyed picking it up. There were a few bits throughout that were a little waffly but not in a dealbreaker kind of way.

A gift
I always enjoy Suzanne Giesemann's writing immensely but this book was particularly appreciated due to my curiosity about mediumship. I am inspired to learn more about Mavis Pittilla's work given her journey, her leadership, her ability to so clearly explain how to connect with one's soul and her skill at doing so herself. This book felt like a gift to me. Thank you Suzanne and Mavis!

I wanted to know more about people who are mediums, so I thought this book looked interesting. It was not.
The writing style was extremely dry, and that is too bad, because Mavis had a very interesting life. I think the author should have decided between actually writing a biography and touting the Spiritualist religion. Each to their own, but spare me.
I do think if one is adamantly a Spiritualist, they might enjoy this book.

I was recommended this book and I am so glad that I have read it.
Mavis Pittilla has led an interesting and transformative life.

Self promotion late in life is my take on it.
I was disappointed in this. It’s a self promoting biography by an author who’s been hired by several other spiritualist mediums so I guess not surprising. I’d rather read books written without a marketing focus and a ghostwriter involved no pun ;-)

Mavis had a very interesting life but unfortunately, the writing was very dry, choppy, and lifeless. Because of this, the book lacked feeling, and at times was on the boring side. Overall, it gave me an understanding of her life which was the minimum I was hoping for.

Beautifully written account (by a talented medium) of a such a simple yet purpose-filled life, facing every fear to serve the truth of her soul and those in spirit. Really enjoyable.
