Witch Master

Rate this book
Cast spells. Tame witches. Kill monsters. Fight evil.

Retrieving a prized baseball from the roof of a quiet suburban house, Tom Harrick never expected to end up becoming a warlock.

Never mind stumbling onto a coven of witches.

But these aren’t the witches from fairy tales – they’re smoking hot, have one hell of a collective attitude, and possess a penchant for solving mysteries and slaying monsters.

Now Tom has to help them take down a seemingly unstoppable evil – even if he is just a beginner.

Warning: This book contains explicit sexuality, broomsticks, magical spells, dream projection, invisibility, feral supernatural creatures, demons, rituals, portals, melee combat, blood magic, unsuspecting sleepwalking roommates, and a 400 year-old fox-familiar. If that doesn’t sound like your thing, steer clear.

Fun read, roller coaster of fantasy ride.

The main charature is believable and has his own doughts, but he has an inner strength. The girls have thier own personalities and they all have true love for each other, and for him too. Full of mystery and nail biting horror, can't wait for the next book. And the erotica isn't over the top either.

This was not a bad book, certainly by the standards of the genre. Writing was competent, editing showed minimal grammatical errors (SO common in self-published books) and the pacing worked.

My problem I think is that I just didn't buy these young women who knew (mostly) what they were doing suddenly accepting this random guy as "master". I know it's a male fantasy book, but this seemed a real stretch. Witches were never a patriarchal sort of thing, so the concept (central premise of the book) of there needing to be a guy to run each coven just didn't work for me. If that doesn't bother you, it's a decent light read.

Illiterate

Sadly, I have been using this word more frequently lately. This book is written by an illiterate for illiterates.

76 times the author used the word 'gonna'. He also like using 'literally', 'gotta' and 'wanna'.

Run on sentences, no clue how to use commas and semicolons, and a moderate misunderstanding on the use of possessives round out the grammatical horror show that is this book.

If you have a decent sense of the English language, avoid this book to preserve your sanity.

Over all a good plot and interesting characters. Could use some editing help. One note is author didn't do research on weather of the Grand Canyon. Its HOT .... NOT HUMID!!! He has used places in the South West of the USA before and used humid in place of hot then as well. It's called a dry heat. The mistake kept me from completely enjoying his storytelling as it pulled me out of his stories.

Still the story was good and a fun read. So 4 stars and heroes hoping the author starts to use beta readers and editors in the future.

young man tries to recover his lost baseball from a roof and literally fell into a witch coven.
One blonde, one brunett, one a succubus - you can fill in the rest easily.
He becomes their new warlock and they fight against a blood magic user.
Fast paced. Very often waaayyy to obvious but a fast read.

Fun

A combination of adventures and supernatural world, add in sexy witches and you have a different perspective on how things work. The development of a Warnock is worth the effort to finish this book.

Fun!

Fun ride! Glossy ride over some deep paranormal issues, but a good start to a potentially good harem series. A few presentation issues (incorrect word here and there) but better than many in the genre. Be interesting to see where it goes.

Definetly not your hocus pocus

Its a fun little adventure some spelling mistakes but i can get over it. The characters are likeable. I wouldn't mind finding out more about the world. And the characters past. May not be perfect but its got charm

Entertaining Read

Tom is a college student trying to complete his senior year. Hot witches and hellspawn get in the way. However, the hot witches are definite perks. I like the action, humor, and romance. It was fun watching Tom develop. I look forward to the next book.

Tom's trio

A good start to a new story about Tom who can't throw for toffee. Becomes a war lock with 3 wonderful witches. I enjoyed the book, the story was believable and Tom helped the 3 with a problem from their past. Can't wait for the next book.

A light hearted adventure

A nice light hearted adventure (save for the blood sacrifices) awaits within these pages, with a fast paced adventure that never dwells too long on the hard stuff

Well All Right Then.

Now that was a completely different kind of story. Very enjoyable, but nevertheless different. Will look forward to the sequel.

While I enjoyed the romp of this book, the spelling and grammar mistakes are fairly prevalent throughout it. Hopefully any further books in this world will be proof-read better...

Predictable but enjoyable enough

Reminds me of those serial novels for kids, like the plethora of adult wanna be's that fill up Amazon's coffers these days. If this is your cuppa, Enjoy it
I would suggest to the writer that he picks up a couple more editors though the book was enjoyable as is. The readers who are picky about these things are few these days though we are out there.
