Written from an Apostolic point of view, Sylvia Ferrin does an excellent job at teaching an aspect to living for the glory of God that is rarely spoken of: Food. I found this book to be refreshing, truly Biblical, and encouraging in a topic that is it easy to be received as demeaning.
Yes, we in the New Testament Church are not under the ceremonial laws pertaining to food in the Old Testament. Yet, truly if Jesus is Lord, we ought to live our lives in every area unto His glory, including what we eat. Our blessed Holy God is worthy of a intentional Healthy Temple.
I didnt read this - I read Finally Free by the same author, but its not on Goodreads and I want credit towards my 2019 goal so at least this is by the same author XD
A fantastic informative book on food/nutrition for our bodies both physical and spiritual. She also speaks to other things consume — drink, medication, exercise, etc. An apostolic author.
