The Porter Series

The biggest of the big and and baddest of the bad. The all knowing tough guy with the wisdom of the ages. The ladies swoon and the bad guys die. This was hard to read. Completely unrealistic. The friendly banter is way to much. I could barely get through it. Maybe if I were in my late teens i might like this but I can't recommend these books.
And the author writes with authority about things he doesn't understand: "Well, private airfield, private plane—it doesn’t matter. They have to register a flight plan with the FAA". Sorry. That's incorrect. A private pilot doesn't have to file a flight plan.

(Includes Fair Trade, a Porter Novelette, which I couldn’t find in Goodreads.)

To a progressively greater degree, each novel in this series demonstrates that Porter, the protagonist, has Martin Blank’s (Grosse Pointe Blank), “moral flexibility,” when it comes to bad guys. While not a professional assassin, like Blank, Porter has no compunction about ending those who have made horrific moral choices, especially if they hurt or target kids.

If you like Dirty Harry, Death Wish and that genre, you’ll love Porter.

Butt-kicking Porter and great peripheral characters as well. Impossible tasks accomplished with great energy and aplomb. Never a pause point. Simply loved it. I love the way the series carried me along without a break from one scene to the next. Nice graphic violence (So if that's not your cup of tea, then stay away), and brutal merciless protagonist. A guy after my own heart.

A box set featuring take no prisoners Porter.

Porter is the kind of person that just does not know the meaning of the word stop. These stories feature Porter in his best roles of finding missing children. He has determination, a gun, and a set of fists he is not afraid to use. Interesting and good stories with lots of action and well, dead bodies.

Brilliantly Violent, Entertaining and a Bit of Heart Tugging!

R.A. McAfee is a master of creating action-packed entertainment that grabs readers from the beginning and doesn't turn loose! His ability to continue that approach through each novel in this series is absolutely amazing; in fact, it just keeps getting better and better!

The Porter Series is four novel kick-ass Bounty Hunter series.

A mostly good investigator makes a living collecting reward money for finding missing people either alive or dead.
An ex Federal Agent, Porter (“Not Mr. Porter”) is Ruthless in pursuing of kidnappers and not above dispensing instant justice.

Fan of Porter

Loved meeting his cousin. The interaction and camaraderie the two men show gave us more insight into Porter. It felt like a loss of a main character when the SUV died but can’t think of a better way for it to go out!

What a book. Non stop good guy had guy . Porter gives a new name to hunter. If you like lots of action and unabridged violence against the bad guys this is your book. Hard to put down.

Four in one volume

Three novels and a novelette all in one book. Porter specializes in finding missing children. The plots are interesting and the stories are well written. Lots of brutal violence.

Typical tough guy on the edge story. Characters mostly over the top and unbelievable. The books were free so only spent my time.

No recommendation here.
