“Bleed” is a collection of fifty poems spanning seven years into the crests and troughs of a poet’s life, bled onto paper. The author, who also happens to be a full-time doctor, finds solace and sanity in verses. ‘Bleed’ is designed to tell a story about love lost in six sections with each section describing a certain era of the poet’s life and the tribulations he had succumbed. Each section depicts a different genre of poems he writes and one can read a story of love unfolding and then folding back into oblivion. As you will read through, perhaps on a shady morning or on a coffee table, you will find yourself immersed in these simple yet yielding verses which have so beautifully been penned from the inks of his struggle and the joys of him overcoming them.
Poetry often stems from deepest emotions. It needs to be raw and unfiltered which adds to it's charm. Bleed by Aheed Khan is a collection of poetry that ricochets the same.
The book makes for quick read. And it is divided into six sections. Each section tackles a theme and weaves the poetries around it. All the poetries are born out of burst of emotions. And may come across as abstract thoughts.
Poetry lovers would love it, as it gives different flavours a writing.♥️
It has some real hard words to get one an understanding of what’s going on any topic. But if you try harder perhaps you will understand. 💯
The poems are wonderful and heart breaking at times, written really well and it doesn't fail to engross the reader. You do feel every word that Aheed writes and it is written with a sense of openness and vulnerability.❤️💯
