Hmmm...I am not completely sure how I felt about this book. Overall, I enjoyed it. This author has some fantastic writing skills for sure. I still love Cristiano and he was the best part of this book by far. However, I spent 98% of this book wanting to cunt punch Natalia. Good gravy this chick has to be one of the most annoying heroines I have ever read. I also felt like this book was mostly a filler book. It didn't feel like much happened other than Cristiano and Natalia dancing around each other. Last, it ends on a crazy cliffhanger. I was engaged enough I will read book three. That said, I am really hoping for a less annoying heroine, more sex, and more action. Fingers crossed...

"Her fear both excited and calmed me. Her tears were mine to collect and soothe. Her pussy was mine to devastate and worship. And lick and explore and fuck."
"He was the law in a lawless land, a dark hero for those who needed one. A protector."

Her fear both excited and calmed me. Her tears were mine to collect and soothe. Her pussy was mine to devastate and worship. And lick and explore and fuck.
I stared at him, utterly perplexed at the puzzle before me. This was exactly what I’d feared. Not knowing whether to hate him or to feel something else entirely.
For every door she slammed, I would open another. I'd pursue her. I'd break down that defiance until I found myself in her sweet core. She would cross over into the darkness. And I'd be waiting with open arms.
Walking that fine line between hate and admiration only seemed to kindle our sexual attraction.
