Playing keyboard and singing backup, Asher Quest lives a rockstar life most would envy. But he's the one who finds himself longing for something that he doesn't have. Love. He doesn't expect to find it when he wanders into a dive bar, but something about the mysterious raven-haired beauty draws him in. Her sad grey eyes hold secrets and when his trust is betrayed, he's prepared to give up on love... even if his heart isn't.
Unavoidable desire, forgiveness and longing help them overcome their rocky pasts, for a chance to write the happily ever after that they both deserve.
Kylie Walker is from a small city north of Toronto, Ontario. She loves to write contemporary romance with a whole lot of steam and suspense that will keep you guessing and wanting more!
Asher and Heather are both characters that are easy to love. They both have come from pasts that make them especially leery too let others in. I loved this rock romance and l look forward to the next from Ms. Walker.
ONE EXCITING TALE!!! Man, talk about a punch to the gut. I was completely captivated from start to finish. This is one emotional rollercoaster with so much heartache and hope it really pulls those heartstrings and bring all of your emotions into play. One amazing, heart pounding, pulse racing, smooth flowing, page turning delight that brings this bad boy roaring to life beautifully. I'm not sure there are words to describe my feelings for this treasure. I wasn't sure what to expect but this tale has all the drama and uncertainty, along with fear and suspense, but this storyline is so strong it holds your attention in ways that bring it close to home. Kylie is an incredibly gifted author and has no trouble showing her just how talented she is. This little guy ruled me in the best of ways. The characters are lively, intelligent, complex and so realistic I felt I could just reach out and touch them. Their personalities are complex and believable with qualities that bring out such an amazing balance that play off one another amazingly. The scenes are so descriptive and detailed it really draws you in with a realism that has such depth you can almost taste it. All the trials and tribulations they encounter along with plenty unexpected plot twists that really pulls this bad boy together. Excellent job Kylie, thanks for sharing this intriguing read with us.
An utterly delightful romantic, rock and roll read. I never thought I would be stringing that previous sentence together about a romance with a rock and roll platform, but wonders never cease. The story was good, rolled along smoothly and captured not only this reader's attention, but my heart. What a lovely young man the main male character turned out to be; not without flaws, but then, who doesn't. He came across as tender, thoughtful, respectful, romantic, protective and passionate ... totally YUMMY-NUMMY!! I really liked the thoughtful measures he took when the main female was feeling a bit ill. The main female character seemed like a sweetheart but through past circumstances, found herself to be between a rock and a hard place with relationship issues. The characters were all well developed and believable. Good reading!
I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
Asher is the third rock star in this series to claim his own musical inspiration....much like Trevor and Roman in the previous stories!
Asher is tired of being alone and after seeing Trevor and Roman settled with good women at their sides....he envisions the same for himself. Heather is gorgeous but seems reserved with a world of hurt in her eyes, when Asher comes to her rescue at a little dive bar around the corner from his place. When he asks if he can see her again to take her out, she ghosts him😢 He eventually tracks her down and tries again, until he finally admits to himself, if she’s interested....she will come to him.........and she does❣️
However, Heather has more demons in her closet than Asher prepares for and when that past comes knocking, it forces the proverbial demons out of hiding.
A good story, not as good as the first two but I still enjoyed it 😍
This has been a great series about the band mates of Infinity Prism. This story happens a couple years after the last tour when they are ready to release their third album. It features the keyboardist and backup vocalist, Asher with Heather, who he met in a dive bar close to their homes. This book seemed a little more laid back, maybe because the band wasn't on tour, but both protagonists have trust issues, especially Heather who works as assistant producer at a TV news station for a man who is also her ex, but still manipulating her. Will they be honest and upfront with one another so that their chemistry will become true love?
This is book 3 of the Infinity Prism series and I absolutely loved it, I love Asher and Heather their chemistry has sparks. Heather is trying to make it in the news industry as a journalist and Asher is a keyboard player in Infinity Prism, they both meet in a bar and hit it off immediately. Heather’s past catches up with her and she pushes Asher away but it’s for more than just her past, it also feels like that her boss is playing games with her because her boss wants Heather to do an article on Asher and now Heather is torn between love and her job. This is an amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This is the third book in the Infinity Prism series by Kylie Walker and it does not disappoint. Really good characters and a story line that keeps you reading late into the night. This story is bout the keyboard player Asher and Heather his independent, strong willed woman he meets one night in a bar. She becomes a mystery to him and she has some issues from her previous ex. Don't want to give any spoilers so you'll just need to read the book to find out what happens. This was a good one, enjoy!
I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.
I really liked this story with Asher and Heather. They both grew up poor, had their issues, but managed to overcome a lot of things. I think they had a great chemistry together also. Kevin was a real narcissistic psychopath in my book. So glad he got what he had coming to him. I wish Asher would have taken care of him himself. He deserved to be punched in the face. All in all I enjoyed the book.
Loved Book 3 of this series! This is Asher's story. Asher and Heather's story will make your heart ache a times, make you laugh, smile, worry for them, but everything they go through just ends up making it clear to each other how much they do love each other, despite the outside world. So good!
This book was just as good as the first two. I love the series and can’t wait to read the rest of the. Kylie can not write and get them out quick enough for me. Thank Kylie and keep writing.
There was too much inner dialogue for me and creepy stalkerish behavior from both Asher and Heather by the time I made it to the 5th chapter. So I decided to let it go.
