Alien Attraction

Aliens have arrived in Tawas, or that’s what Agnes and Eleanor believe. An unidentified flying object plummets to earth and has the sleuths believing a real UFO crashed behind the secured gates of the US Gypsum Company in Alabaster. And the sleuths know that the US Gypsum Company won’t give anyone permission to access the property.

 But when a body turns up the next day, Eleanor insists it’s a real-deal alien, while Agnes isn’t so quick to jump to that conclusion. The mystery continues as the sleuths are resolved to find the truth after the coroner identifies the remains, and it’s anyone’s guess what the implications might be.

Alien? Or just another day in the life of Agnes and Eleanor

At least it wasn't big foot! The characters seemed believable, yet loosely connected. I enjoy Agnes and Eleanor, but the storyline seems to have lost some intrigue. No real surprises, unseen curveballs or unexpected endings. No follow up to the cell phone issue, being watched, etc.

I am reading the entire series and find all books very entertaining and clean to read. This episode with the aliens had a slower start than any other that I have read. The premise was a plausible one and once I got the midpoint it moved much faster. I still maintain you have to follow the series.

Alien Attraction had me fooled . I believed that Ricky was murdered. I was thinking it was someone from USG at first then I started thinking it was Gage. An accident never crossed my mind. I thought someone higher up in USG was covering up what really happened that day.
