Now this is the way to wrap up a terrific series! With a splendid tale involving the head of security of The Fix who is a single dad who refuses to get close to any woman for fear she will disappear the same as his wife did and abandon him and his daughter and he is paired with the daughter of the owner of The Fix who is a graduate student and younger by nearly a decade. This poses many issues but the chemistry is undeniable even though they both try to ignore it but once those lines are crossed all bets are off. Will they be able to keep their secret tryst a secret for long? Will Brent be able to finally overcome his fears? This was so good I read it in a couple hours because I could not put it down! This was the way to finish this series. As with all the books in this series, this one could be read as a standalone but WHY would you want to!?!?!?!? Read the entire series, you will not be disappointed with any of them!

In our final story of the series we get sexy, single dad Brent and the boss's daughter, Elena. Two of my favorite tropes...the single dad and the older man/younger woman. It's another shorty but goody!

12 books and a novella later and I can't believe it's over. I've enjoyed this series and getting to know all the couples that are all tied back to The Fix on Sixth bar. It's been such a mix of personalities and different tropes that the author provided something for everyone. And there is an actual calendar you can buy with all the hotties on the covers. It's been a fun ride!

I think that I enjoyed this Man Of The Month the most. To be fair the cover of Walk The Line had my pulse into overdrive before I even started reading.

Brent, ex-cop and head of security at The Fix on 6th is a single father to the charming and cheeky Faith. Elena is the adult (but younger) daughter of his friend and boss.

Elena and Brent try to fight the intense attraction that they feel for each other. A feat made decidedly harder when Elena starts to babysit for Faith while Brent is at work. As they find themselves alone together the attraction becomes impossible to ignore.

Elena has grad school to focus on and a yearning to travel. Brent is a single father and determined to offer his daughter a sense of security and continuity.

Can Brent and Elena find a way to get everything they want? Well you are just going to have to dive into this story yourself if you want all the answers!

This is a relatively quick read, but of course it is penned by the amazing J. Kenner so you know that it will not skimp on detail, story-line, surprises and passion.

I have yet to read any of her work that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy and this was definitely no exception!

While this is a series of standalone’s you would definitely be a happy reader if you immersed yourself into this series one man at a time from month #1.

I received an arc copy of Walk The Line, Man Of The Month #12 from J Kenner and Social Butterfly PR. This is my honest review.

Walk the Line by J. Kenner was a sexy romance that had all feels to keep any reader entertained. If you are a fan of the single dad romance/ boss’s daughter kind of romance then you are in for a special treat with this last installment. Kenner will make you swoon and smile big as she grabs our hearts with this sweet short fun story.

This book was hard to rate as it was the final book in this 12 book (novella) series and everything had to be brought to a conclusion.

Let me first rate the book - overall it was just ok for me. I loved the plot - older man/younger woman - she's not only his daughter's babysitter but also his boss' daughter - so immediately Elena is pretty much off limits to Brent. Plus he has been burnt in the past, so he really isn't up for any relationships.

While I felt this one was slightly rushed and light on the build up of their relationship, it wasn't completely unbelievable. You could tell there was chemistry between them and the added suspense helped in the plot, but again, it just felt rushed with it being the final book.

Overall, the book was entertaining and we got to see everything they have been working on come to fruition and get their HEA.

As a whole, I do recommend this series as each book focuses on one man and their situation while everyone is trying to saves The Fix on 6th. At times, the stories felt a bit mundane as plot lines became somewhat repetitive, but overall it is an entertaining series to read.

Walk the Line is the twelfth, and final, book in J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series, and I’m so sad to say goodbye. The last few months have been spent with me diving into each new release, desperate for more of the stories, and now that the series is over I’m not quite sure what I plan to do with my life. Sure, there are other books I wish to read – however, I have no other series like this one where I’m giving something different every two weeks. If someone has any recommendations of where I can find another gripping series like this one, I’m all ears!

The Man of the Month series is a collection of interconnected romance stories, proving individual stories as a larger story plays out. Each novel features a favourite romance trope, ensuring there is something for everyone. The first book, Down on Me, provided us with the friends-to-lovers trope; the second book, Hold on Tight, provided us with the second chance romance; the third book, Need You Now, provided us with the brother’s best friend trope; the fourth book, Start Me Up, provided us with the one-night stand; the fifth book, Get It On, provided us with the secret baby trope; the sixth book, In Your Eyes, provided us with the bad boy billionaire; the seventh book, Turn Me On, provided us with the friends with benefits trope; the eighth book, Shake It Up, gave us the May-December romance; the ninth book, All Night Long, provided us with the opposites attract trope; the tenth book, In Too Deep, provided us with the fake relationship trope; the eleventh book, Light My Fire, provided us with the Beauty and the Beast trope. Book twelve, Walk the Line, finishes us off with the single dad trope, giving us a character we’ve been interested in since the start of the series.

Although each book is an individual story with a start and an end, I would recommend reading these books in order. To understand some of the details of the story in full, you need to understand how things came to be throughout the prior books. You’re certainly told, to ensure you have the basic facts to understand the story, but it is not the same as experiencing all that happened – for a bigger picture, read the series in order. I think this is more important than ever with this final book, as so much is pulled together in this one. There are things that have been building throughout the series that come together in this final book, and we get a look back at everyone else. By no means am I saying you need to go back and read all the books, but I am saying you will appreciate this series – and this story – so much more if you read things in order.

With each book in this series you go in with certain expectations – you have an idea of how the trope plays out and you know who is to be the man of the month. Despite this, you’re interested in seeing how the little details play out – and for those following the series, you’re interested in seeing the additional elements added to the overall story. Although we’re never given anything new to the genre, we’re always given something unique to keep us wanting more. Plus, by this point, we’re so in love with all the characters, we’ll desperately take whatever we’re given, any snippet of where things are now.

If I am being completely honest, Walk the Line was not as enjoyable as some of the other books in the series. If this was a standalone story, I would give it a three-point-five-star rating. It was enjoyable, I liked the story, but things came together far too quickly at the end for it to have the kind of depth that pleases me. However, in relation to the prior books in the series, this one brings everything together so well. In other words, this is a great conclusion to the series for anyone looking at how the series comes together, but the story itself is not as strong as it could have been. Hence the four-star rating – the three-point-five-star rating of the individual story was rounded up as the bigger picture made this one worthwhile.

Without a doubt, I adored this series, and would certainly recommend it for anyone looking for an enjoyable quick series that offers a variety of stories. There really is something for everyone, and I fell so in love with the characters and events.

In fact, I plan to dive into Bar Bites so that I can remain in the world a little bit longer. I’m curious to see what the cookbook brings – but, more importantly, I’m curious about the little snippets of stories providing us with more from the characters.

There is no doubt in my mind, the Man of the Month series has guaranteed I’ll be reading more J. Kenner in the future.

I can't believe that we are at the end of the Man of the Month series. Honestly, I want more of the The Fix on Sixth. I want to see more happily ever afters, more characters and more of J. Kenner. She amazed me with the way all of the stories flowed together. I was wondering, right from the beginning, if she was going to be able to keep all of them separate, yet together … if she was going to run out of ideas … going to repeat plot lines. She did none of this. What she gave us was a new book every two weeks with new characters, with new twists and turns, with new men to light us up. She really amazed me that they were all fresh and new stories with interesting characters and hot story lines. But, we have one more book to review … Walk the Line. Elena and Brent and, of course, beautiful, sweet Faith.

Elena – Tyree's daughter. How does Brent stop wanting to know how she tastes? She's beautiful, caring and her partner's daughter. Now, she's his babysitter. Faith loves her and he is terrified that she will pull a fast one and just leave. Afraid of putting both his and his daughter's hearts on the line with someone so young with aspirations to leave Austin? But, temptation strikes and there is no going back. Now, to keep it a secret and make sure she knows that he doesn't do forever.

Elena knew working for Brent was a bad idea. She crushed on him from the moment she saw him. How was she supposed to keep her feelings to herself especially if he wasn't interested in her? But, losing her job, starting Grad School, she needed to do something and seeing him all the time wouldn't be that bad. Until the innuendos started and there was no way she wasn't keeping her hands to herself. But, she knows he's not a happily-ever-after man … he trusts no woman after Olivia and he thinks she's too young with dreams that will take her away … that she'll walk away from Faith holding her heart in her hand and he definitely won't allow that. But, what he doesn't know is that plans change, people can be trusted to love the one person he loves the most and not walk away.

Walk the Line was a fitting end to the Man of the Month series. It had everything you could ask for in a story … a cute little girl, a little bit of mystery, a touch of angst and a whole lot of love. It closed the circle that was started just a few months ago with an ending that truly brought tears to my eyes. Tyree ending this series the way he did actually made me cry. I'm gonna miss these people I am going to miss opening my Kindle every two weeks looking for the next book. I am going to miss J. Kenner's wonderful storytelling abilities, the way she made each of the characters real, exciting and lovable. There wasn't one in any of these stories that I could say I didn't like. But, I need just one more book ... I want to be at the birth of the baby - I want to go to Brent and Elena's wedding, please? But, truly, J. Kenner made the stories interesting, adding a little intrigue when it was needed, a little anxiety when it was called for and brought each of these couples together in a natural and beautiful way. It was amazing watching all of them come together at The Fix on Sixth.

WALK THE LINE by J. Kenner is Book 12 in the Man of The Month series. This is the story of Brent and Elena. I have read the other books but feel this can be a standalone book, if you choose to do so. This is the lastbook in this series so loosen are taking care of with this book. Brent doesn’t really do relationship much less one with his friend/boss’s daughter. In addition she I’d much younger than him and his babysitter for his little girl. But the sparks are flying between the two and it’s becoming harder for him to fight them until they end up acting on them.
Enjoy this book and have loved this great series.

I'm not really that much of a fan of older man romances, but for the most part, this one worked for me. Like most of the others in this series that I have read so far, it was another quick and easy read. I honestly liked how this one seemed so much more realistic in the amount of time it took for them to actually get together, or should I say in the amount of time for them to kind of feel like a couple, and act like it. Even though they were still trying to keep it secret, from Elena's dad of course, who starts out right away warning them away from each other, and of course also trying to keep it secret, for the most part from Brent's daughter. However I feel like Brent definitely had the right amount of protesting that what they were doing could be wrong with the age difference, but not to a ridiculous amount. When he did get over that, the other obstacles had to do with the fact that Elena was still going to finish school and what would she do for her job after that, and then he didn't want to get his daughter's hopes up and have Elena leave like the mother of his daughter had before. I like that Elena still looked into how she could stay there and also continue on with her schooling and meet the goals that she had for herself. That was very mature, and to me very realistic. Elena's father also was exactly how I'd picture my own family members behaving about someone in the same situation. That even though they had misgivings over the age difference, etc., her father knew Brent, knew he was a good guy, and knew that Elena would be great with him and his daughter. And that's something that I loved about this one for sure. We also got a little bit of a catch up with each of our other couples, and that was great as well, since this is the last one.
If you're looking for some quick, easy, romantic with a bit of sexy tales, this should be at the top of your list. While I haven't read every single one in the series, all of the ones I have read are worth it for sure. At some point I'll probably go back and read the ones I missed. Especially since Elena's father was one of them, and I missed that story thanks to other blogging obligations at the time it was out.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

The last in the series - that has been an absolute pleasure to read and review. From the very first story which set the background to the journey we have taken together, to this lovely conclusion I have enjoyed it all.

I have been waiting for Brent to get his HEA since book 1 to be honest, once Reece and Jenna paired up, he was the one who had missed out. Most definitely a man who deserves his chance at love, he is still stunned at his wife's demand for a divorce five years ago.

Therefore we know that Elena, who has thought him her perfect man from the first time she saw him, has many issues to overcome before he will even consider her as a future partner. After all she is his boss's long lost daughter, and she is ten years younger than him ... let alone she is planning on a career which involves travel. But chemistry is the darnedest thing - along with some clever matchmaking pushes from Jenna, and somehow we just know that it will work out. How she will get him on the stage for Mr December is another challenge entirely!

Along with another fun and feisty romance, we get a catch up with the previous winners and their newly minted romances. The Fix finally is in the black, although the story of the ill-fated bar does not end there, and there is one final twist to bring the story to a well rounded conclusion.

It has been a fun time waiting for each book to be released, and I found the gap of two weeks between each one to be just the perfect time to remember the previous installment and be ready for the next. Thank you J. Kenner.

5 Star Review Walk The Line (Man of the Month #12) by J Kenner
This is the twelfth and final book in the series and is Brent and Elena’s story; what a way to finish the series. This is bitter sweet as I have become invested in this group of friends and I am sad to see their stories come to a close.
Brent is a single dad to oh so cute Faith and is also the security expert at The Fix. He is good friends with Tyree who happens to be Elena’s father and he has no intention of jeopardising his friendship by going after Elena. However not all goes to plan, particularly when the attraction sizzling just under the surface between Brent and Elena comes to a boil.
Brent is concerned he is too old for Elena and also that she will leave like his ex Olivia did. Of course the whole gang can see the attraction between these two and a little matchmaking ensures when Elena agrees to be Faith’s babysitter.
Faith almost stole the book away from Brent and Elena, such was the humour and her total cuteness factor. She really has some amazing comments in Walk The Line and I absolutely adored her.
I seemed to fall more in love with the couples each book and it was heart warming to get glimpses into how their relationships were progressing throughout the series.
This has been a fun ride with the gang from The Fix and I do hope that we can get a couple of extra books about this group of people who have become family (hint hint maybe a holiday book?). This is one of my favourite series this year and I am sad to see it end. Congratulations Ms. Kenner on a fantastic series of books.

Readers who have been with the series since its introduction should be more than familiar with the hero of Walk the Line. Brent’s been in the background of the series as the bar’s head of security, watching his friends find their happily ever after but never wanting to risk his own heart because he’s still not over what his ex did to him and their daughter.

Until her.

But besides Brent’s fears and insecurities when it comes to the opposite sex and his need to protect his daughter at all costs is a set of circumstances that could upend all facets of his life, which means that he knows he needs to walk the line and not cross it in a way that could hurt all those involved in his life - the only problem is that one despite the age difference and despite the fact that she’s the daughter of his boss, the connection they share burns bright and it becomes something essential to both of them.

I can’t believe we’re already at Mr. December. It seems like I just started J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series, and now it’s time to meet the final calendar hottie and see what happens with The Fix on 6th since besides the characters finding love, the push to save the bar is at the forefront of each book, and although Walk the Line brings everything to a close, hopefully keeping the beloved bar open, let’s just say J. Kenner definitely brings the couples of this series and the bar that brought them together to a satisfying ending with a few surprises!

I can’t believe we’re at the final book in this fantastic Man of the Month series! And whoa, what a way to go out with Brent and Elena’s story.

Phew, they’re addictive and I couldn’t put Walk the Line down until I reached the last word. I loved the slow burn of their romance. That Brent considered his daughter and her needs above any kind of relationship. But Elena slipped under his skin and there was no way he could resist.

Elena and Brent are fantastic together. They’re smart, sexy, and real. I loved the relationship between them—that they were both so in love with each other, but respectful of their wants and needs. They were the perfect couple to have as the conclusion of this series. ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

Cannot believe the ride is over! The final book in the series, Walk the Line, gives us Brent and Elena's story and I loved it! Brent who wants nothing to do with relationships, must less one with a woman ten years younger and his boss' daughter. But can they stay away from each other?

Loved it! A great ending to the series!

Happy reading!

Walk the Line finished off J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series with passionate romance, a thread of mystery solved, and well-deserved HEAs all around for this stellar cast–all of whom have become friends over the dozen installments I’ve read.

J. Kenner pulled out all the stops with her final book in the sexy as hell Man of the Month series. There were actually three tropes all rolled into one here: a May-December romance, a single dad as our hero, and an interracial relationship. I couldn’t have been happier with how things worked out for everyone involved in Walk the Line. Not only did former cop Brent and grad student Elena get their turn at a forever love match, but we had a final chance to catch up with all the other couples and even found out the fate of The Fix on Sixth. Five delicious stars! Mr. December is on fire! He will burn you...

What a way to finish such an all-consuming series! J. Kenner wrapped everything in a wonderful and brilliant way. Walk the Line is the cherry at the top of the most tempting and delicious series. It is the perfect end to the Man of the Month Series. I really enjoyed and loved each book in the series. All the male characters part of this series ruined me in the best way possible. It is hard to tell who my favourite one is. Julie: I wonder if I could keep all of them to myself. I promise I will be a good girl and will take care of them. No hard feelings lady! LOL.

This book was my undoing because I have a soft spot for romances where the characters have a pretty big gap in age. Who isn’t attracted to older men? They are more experienced and they know what they want. Well, this book nailed my hard limits. Brownie points if he is a sweet and sexy single father. It melts my heart every time I watch a father interact with her little girl / boy. Don’t worry ladies. Mr. December is here to warm you with the intensity of his sexy smile and mischievous eyes.

The plot is enthralling, addictive and well developed. Every element made it incredible hard to put this book down. I devour each page ravenously fast! Perfection doesn't cover it. This is not the typical story where the girl meets boy and fall in love. This is a fierce discovery of true love where nothing matters, no even age, where two hearts beat at the same rhythm, where attraction and lust match the chance to fall into the temptation of falling in the arms of who you think you shouldn't. But the heart wants what it is wants…

Brent and Elena are at the top list of my favourite couples. They are good for each other. They love fiercely and protect their loved ones to any cost (even their happiness). Brent is just the type of man that hardly exist in real life because his priority is her little daughter. He was hurt by her ex-wife and since then he haven't opened his heart to anyone until Elena came like a storm in his life. Her softness and sexy body tempted him like hell. Brent is afraid of opening his heart and sharing his life with a woman because it is not only him. Is is wrong to be be attracted to your best friend's daughter and it is even more forbidden because she is younger than you… Will he let Elena into his and her daughter's life? Will he risk his heart again?

Elena is a young woman working hard to make her dreams come true. After finding her dad was not dead, she did everything to meet him. Every little girl needs her daddy. Tyree made her proud and happy. Helping him to save his bar is her goal. Falling for Brent wasn't in her plans. Dreams change as people do. Having a crush on an older man is something forbidden and tempting and even more if that man in question is your father's best friend. Brent and Faith will change her world and dreams…

This is a must read for every reader who loves a good romance with tempting touches! J. Kenner never (in a million years) disappoints her readers. Each of her books is a refreshing breeze where you can loose yourself!

As I sadly say "Goodbye" to our friends at The Fix, it is with a heavy heart and a feeling of complete satisfaction and love.

J. Kenner really knows how to pull you into her series with amazing characters and stories that most if not all of us can relate to. The Fix is a place we can all relate to. The days when we hung out with friends in our favorite bar and the new friends we met along the way. With the final copy releasing, Brent and Elena are closing out the series with a what rounds out to be a perfect ending. An ending says it all. The Fix is ....A bar that is more like a home and full of people who become family and we are now a part of that family. Living their lives and experiencing love through these wonderful books.

Within these pages we watch Brent and Elena give into their attraction with caution since one sweet and smart little girl will be the one their relationship will affect. Brent is a fantastic father who gives 110% of his heart and love to his daughter. But there is still a part of himself he keeps at bay so that he can protect his daughter. That says a lot about the man. Yet, even he deserves to find some happiness and Elena is just the person who can help fill the void for him and Faith. Anytime a child is added into a story I'm a bit anxious because it's a tricky path to travel. Yet Faith wound her way around my heart with the beautiful soul only a child can contain. What could have been a complicated story line with topics such as a mixed race relationships with the addition of a child turned out to feel like a warm blanket wrapping itself around my heart. It just felt so right, so perfect.

As we come to a closing the final epilogue says it all. What began with the struggle of keeping "The Fix" from closing, to a special set of friends working together to make sure that didn't happen. The men and women who found love and happiness, friendships made that will last for a very long time, and YES.....we are all apart of this since we watched it all happen and cheered each one of these special men along the way.
To watch it all end with so much happiness brings a sense of completion and a bit of sadness. This being said, I'm so glad I was along for the ride. The books may be over but the friendships we made along the way will last a lifetime.

Walk The Line
Man Of The Month 12
J. Kenner
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Who’s your man Of The Month, I just can’t decide, but I can say I’m devastated this series is finished. It has been an amazing one to read that I’ll forever be thankful to Ms Kenner for. Each man stole a piece of my heart along with The Fix on Sixth, a bar in trouble to a top spot week nights or weekends. I’ve waited 12 long novels for Brent’s turn and finally it is here, and was as awesome as I’d hoped.

Brent is head of security at The Fix, he has a gorgeous 5 year old daughter, Faith who at such a young age has so much spunk, he will forever have his hands full with her. But what he misses is hands full of a woman – one in particular is always in his head, Elena Anderson. Problem one she’s 10 years younger than him, she’s his boss, best friend and Fix co owner Tyree and he was royally screwed over by his ex wife who walked out in him the day Faith was born. Having Elena step in as a babysitter, he finds himself one in one with this gorgeous woman, taking that step will change everything, he needs to decide if risking his love, his life and his daughters best interests at heart is worth the opportunity for his forever.

Elena spent most of her life believing her father was dead, but discovering he is well and truly alive meant she finally had that family again. When her mum and dad got back together, life was great. But she had a crush that wouldn’t go down well with Tyree, so keeping her distance is the only option. But as Faith’s babysitter Elena Fingal herself in Brent’s arms, and she loves being there.

A fling turns to more, then drama as lines blur and Brent’s past raises its head, this loveable couple will be put to the ultimate test. Brent and Elena have amazing chemistry, the sex is HoT, and their emotions are real. Mr December will need to sweep in to win his woman before he loses her forever. If he can avoid the rath of Tyree, and a Bitchslapping from Jenna he’ll get that wife, and a real mum for Faith.

This was the perfect ending for this series. Getting a recap of all Men of The Month in the back Made it absolutely perfect. This will be a series I will read again.

Well it's been a whirlwind of a series and this is the final book in the Man of The Month series. Each book has focused on a specific couple and centers around a local bar in Austin call The Fifth on Sixth.
These books are quick reads so while there's the romances may seem a bit insta love some of them have been brewing for some time.

In this particular one we've got Brent and Elena. Brent we met back in Book 1 and it's sort of fitting that even though he was one of the first characters we met his book is the last. Elena we met in Book 5 and she's the daughter of the owner of the Fifth on Sixth. This book has a bit of a forbidden element to it as Brent works for Elan's dad. There is an age gap but it's less then 10 years.

Brent's got a his own worries as he's a single dad and his priority is her. These two definitely have their moments when they skirt around each other. You can see the attraction and it's just a matter of who is going to make that first move. Again with the rest of these books this one also seems to have a little bit of the suspense element. It's not huge but enough to definitely have you on your toes.

If you are looking for some quick reads and like series that centre around a group of people that are interconnected in some way shape or form then this series and this book are ones I would recommend. I've enjoyed reading everyone of the books from the Man of the Month series.

Walk the Line is the end of the Man of the Month series and it doesn't disappoint! Brent doesn’t trust easily after his ex walked out on him and their adorable daughter, Faith. When he's not a devoted father, he manages the security at the Fix on Sixth, the local Austin bar where he is also a part owner with his best friends Tyree, Reece, and Jenna. He's protective, curious, persistent, and sexy. Elena is Tyree's daughter and about a decade younger than Brent. She's smart, feisty, determined, and in need of a job. Babysitting for Brent solves one problem, but puts her in the path of the one man who is off-limits but she can't stop thinking (or fantasizing) about. They grow closer as they spend more time together, but fighting their attraction is a losing battle. They have great chemistry and Elena is great with his daughter, but Brent isn't on the market for a relationship. J. Kenner created a fabulous and entertaining cast of characters that was oh so fun to follow as each got their own story.

This is the last of the Man of the Month series, and the story I have been waiting for the most, Brent's. Brent is a single father, that has done everything to put his daughter first and foremost. From quitting his job and taking a more .. predictable one with The Fix, not having any type of relationship that Faith would see, and just devoting all his free time to her. When Elena becomes his babysitter, he tells himself she is too young, she is the babysitter, she is Tyree's daughter. This works until one night when Elena decides to let him know that she feels the same thing for him. Will Brent be able to let Elena in enough to have a relationship, or will this just be a secret thing?

So, I will say that I was disappointed in this story. I was really hoping for more of a story, but that's not what we got. This was a seriously short story, ending at 71%, the bit of sexy times were really good, and there was just a smidge of personal drama. There was an element of danger in this, but that was handled very poorly. I give this 3.5 stars.

Another series of mine ends today and since I had a rocky journey with it I am not so sad. I truly hate seeing Reece and the preview of his book and his appearance ruined the warm feels I had for the book.

Brent and Elena had a good story and I liked their journey. Faith is in the picture without stealing the spotlight while getting some of it. Most of the book is to my liking and I loved the most the declaration of Brent's love. I was happy to see that the author didn't decide to extend the drama for too much time and gave our characters more time been happy. I liked how Elena and Brent's relationship evolved and as we saw in this book their relationship started sometime during Griffin's book, so it takes more points for building up. The only question I have is how Jenna is about to give birth in month when she got pregnant by mister January and the contest is bi-weekly. That's six months in my book, not eight. Anyways, I am hoping to see another round of man of the month books. Most of them were fun to read and I liked the theme.

Elena and Brent’s story ties up the Man of the Month series. With the rest of the crew behind the contest and revival of the The Fix on Sixth having found their soulmates, these two were the last to get their HEA.

With Brent being best friends with Elena’s father and the age gap between he and Elena he’s hesitant to give in to his attraction to Elena, but when she takes on babysitting duties for his daughter their close proximity makes them giving I’m an inevitability.

While I expected more, the story was still good and continued the theme with the rest of the books in this series-this book is perfect for that quick reading fix for any romance reading addict.

Each book in the series is perfect for refreshing from an emotional book or recovering from a dark read (if that’s your thing). They’re also short enough to indulge in a full series binge read.

I can not believe this series is OVER! Everyone got their happy ending and a pretty sweet Epilogue thrown in for a proper farewell to the Austin’s The Fix gang.

In Walk The Line we get taboo-ish love story of Brent Sinclair, head security at the bar, and Elena, daughter of the original owner of the bar and best friend of Brent. Brent is a dad, friend of Elena’s dad and 10 year older. However, even with all those minor obstacles they sooooo fit together.

The final installment in the Man of the Month series was a delightful, sweet and satisfying story, with many of the series’ characters. This light, drama free novella about second chances in life, about finding happiness again was an enjoyable read.

Elena is a smart, sweet, determined young woman. I really liked her. She has come to Austin with the dream of getting to know her father and she has rejoined his team at the Fix on Sixth. Brent is a single father. Despite being attracted to Elena, he is afraid his daughter will get attached to his new girlfriend. Her mother walked out on her and she only has her father. I loved the inclusion of the characters from earlier books in the series. I absolutely love this world the author has developed and I hope there will be an epilogue novella.

I can't believe the Man of the Month contest is over!! I loved meeting each of these couples and reading about their lives and relationships as they fight to help The Fix on Sixth stay open.

I love Elena - and not just because of my The Vampire Diaries obsession of late - side note, watch that show! I've started last week and already on Season 4. Don't Judge. Back to the story, Elena is the one who brought Eva and Tyree back together all because she wanted to meet her dad that she assumed was dead. So she's spunky. And Brent has been this mysterious single dad/hot security guy we've seen for months. I'm so glad that they got together and we got to see more of Faith. I love that little girl!!

4.5 Crazy Ass Stars!!!

I really liked this story. It wasn't my favorite of the series but I do love the single dad genre. Then throw in the whole boss's daughter/younger woman aspect and this book whore was in forbidden heaven.

I can't believe this series is over. Wah!!!! I want more. I loved The Fix Crew and how the background story played out in the entire series.

I look forward to reading more from J. Kenner.

Tenía tantas ganas de leer la historia de Brent y Elena que creo que me han podido las expectativas. Aún así es una historia bonita, en la línea de toda la saga
