This box set contains four mail-order bride historical western romance stories filled with mystery and suspense and tied together by all being situated in Copper Peaks where the ladies are arriving to meet and marry their men!
In ETTA’S SECRET, Etta Charlton is tired from the long stage coach ride when suddenly the only other passenger tried to shove something at her, saying she must take it. The woman was pale, thin, and frightened as she begged Etta to take the pouch until she asked for it again. But she had to make sure she was safe from “him”. She banged on the roof of the coach and it came to a stop as the woman got out and spoke to the driver. Then the coach moved on, leaving the woman with a horse to continue her journey. It was all very mysterious to Etta.
As the coach continued on, Etta saw a telegram at the side of the woman’s seat. She read, “He’s after you! He knows what you’ve got.” It was apparently sent to “Laurel”. She remembered how frightened the woman had been. And now she found she was also actually afraid, not just nervous at meeting her fiancé. What was this all about? Was she now in danger? Who was she hiding the brooch from? How would she find the woman again to return it?
The author handled the twists and turns of the story line wonderfully, keeping the suspense slowly growing to keep the reader excited. The book was well-written, the stories complementing each other in an interesting way. Grab your copy and enjoy this slightly different approach to the mail order bride stories. It definitely will hold your interest!
Four very good stories that held my interest throughout each book ties into the one before so they should be read in order. The first one is Etta's Secret which is Etta is a mail-order bride that has her groom marry the day before she arrives. Seeing what happens next kept me turning pages. the next one is Jessie's Regret which is Jessie and Martin's story there is suspense, drama, danger, a frameup, murder, and romance. The next one is Ruth's Revelation which is Ruth and Johnny's story of suspense, drama, danger, murder, villains, one gullible man who gets himself into trouble, and romance. The last one is Amber's Promise it is Amber and Henry's story of suspense, drama, danger, villains, one smart woman, and romance. A set I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oh what a delightful box set! No cliffhanger, no adult content. All three books keep in line with each person.
First bride goes into town only to find out her soon to be husband has already wed another the day before. She stays with a woman who has a son and the two became friends. Each falls in love.
The second book is about the woman who married the first brides man, unlucky she was because he was a drunk, and a thief.
The next book is about a woman who’s brother returns home and she meets a stranger who needs a place to stay, who also happens to be the first brides brother.
The last book is about the woman’s brother who returned home. He comes back from prison, and meets his mail order bride which he has no knowledge of.
All these books are wonderful. I enjoyed reading them all. There is a happy ending in them.
4 Great Romances! This series is fantastic! It starts with a mail order bride who arrives on the stage coach to find her husband to be married someone else's mail order bride the day before! It has mystery, intrigue and twists that turn back on themselves! Each new book focuses on a different one of the peripheral characters of the preceding books. They go through trials and tribulations but manage an HEA. Well fleshed out, believable characters and interesting twists and mysteries. I highly recommend this series!

In Etta's Secret, Etta Charlton is given a broach by a lady who promptly abandons the stagecoach they are traveling in. She tells Etta to keep it safe and not tell anyone. Afterwards Etta discovers a telegram addressed to Laurel stating “he’s after you.” Scared Etta tells no one even after discovering her groom to be married someone else and she is given refuge with Reuben Drummond’s mother Hetti. Reuben met her at the stagecoach looking for Laurel to bring her to his friend Gus. Everyone is a potential suspect and Etta doesn't know who she can trust. Plenty of suspense in this historical romantic mystery.
The first story in the set I had already read, but I read it again because it was definitely worth reading again. The other stories were very well written and of course my favorite type of ending. Jessie's story was really very good, I also totally enjoyed Ruth's story, the ending actually caught me by surprise; her brother's story at the end was extremely well done, it had some great twists, that weren't totally expected. Completely enjoyed the "Copper Peaks Brides". Well done!!!

A great collection of four sweet historical western romances that can all be read as standalones but are connected by the setting of Copper Peaks and some characters appear in more than one novella. Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down with unforgettable characters, mystery, suspense, and sweet and tender romance. This collection is a must-read for anyone who enjoys well-written clean historical romance. I received an advance reader copy of COPPER PEAKS BRIDES from Booksprout and this is my voluntary review.
I really liked these short romances centered around a small town. Each one an HEA in a small historical town and a little bit a danger and suspense to bring out the hidden love out into the light. The characters were real and engaging. The descriptions had me right there in town watching the townspeople walking down the wooden walkway hearing the horses and wagons go by on the dusty mainstreet of town. Need more of these type of books out there.
4 young women Etta, Jessie, Ruth and amber each find live in Copper Peaks in 4 individual but related stories filled with Mystery, Twists, turns and suspense all ending in HEA romance. Well written story lines with delightful characters.A very enjoyable read.

A box set of four mail orders bride stories. They are all connected because of Copper Peaks where the ladies are arriving to become married to their man. Amazingly captivating stories where a lot happens. They are short but the reader will be captivated and kept on the edge to know more. I liked Ettas story very much but all four a great stories.
This is a series of four stories who's lives intertwine. They are mail order bride stories. Some when wrong and some were set right. I love these kind of stories. They are clean and well written and are a lot of fun reading. The author does a great job in telling the stories. I was given a copy of these books for an honest opinion and I think you will truly enjoy them.
What a great box set! The books can all be read as stand alone but the fact some characters appear in more than one book and that they all take place in Copper Peaks does interweave them nicely. I throughly enjoyed these stories. I received a complimentary copy and choose to write a review.

Copper Peaks Brides is a great collections of four full length, sweet western romances about strong, independent mail order brides determined to find love and adventure. This set has betrayal, murder, mystery, suspense, love and great endings. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this box set.
All the stories were wonderful, the twists and turns keep you reading on to find out how things turn out in the end. Could not put them down it was in the wee morning before I knew it.
I loved the way the stories continued from all four couples needing to get together for there happy ever after. Going through the hardships and getting everything straighten out.
I enjoyed this box set of sweet romances set in the same town with interconnected characters, some of which showed up in more than one story. Good plots and intrigue.
This story is intriguing and consists of various twists and turns. What is unbelievable is that Rueben would allow Etta to come along along on a manhunt. This definitely would not have happened in this era of history. This story starts out intriguing with a slightly boring center while the plot builds, but the climax is quite exciting.
Jessie's Regret
This story starts off slow, but quickly get going. This story has many twists, and the blackmail is a little shady in the telling. This story has an exciting climax.
Ruth's Revelation
This story will break your heart, until Ruth decides not to be a doormat. It has an intrigue mystery but the story loses something in the middle.
Amber's Promise
This story has a whimsical tone to it, but I think Amber should have been shot. It's not right to force someone into something that they actually did not agree to. Although, we find out how Henry's signature got on the contract. Henry should have been angry to have been bamboozled that way. Instead, oh I'm in love with Amber so I just forgive all this crazy illegal going ons. Sorry not so real.
Lastly, the last three books were written for expressly this book collection. The only real book is Etta's Secret and you can buy that one separately. Of course the best story is Etta's Secret, that only goes to prove because you cannot find the other three stories on Amazon.
