*WARNING* this is an adults only only story with triggers involving rape and violence.
This is one of those stories were at the end I am just stunned because I didn't see that coming.
Harry had a rough childhood, his mother's infidelity drove his father insane, literally. His father set the house on fire and the only one to survive was Harry, but he was severely scarred. Harry's scars kept him locked away from the world for fear of not being excepted, but he got lonely. When Harry found a place to order a girl and seen Mary, he thought he would be okay.
This story was dark and violent and apparently a romance, however with the twist at the end I'm not so sure. I was thinking these two broken souls were made for each other and although the events of the book are not for just anyone, I enjoyed the story a lot. I have read several books by this author and he usually seems to pull something unexpected out for the ending. This is a short one and well worth reading! RECOMMENDED

I have very little words for this book. I should have known from the very beginning. The book was listed as 141 pages. I was reading pages with 1/2 text and 1/2 blank. So the true page count is about 75 pages. This was not a story. Just acts of sexual violence with the weirdest ending ever. I'm pretty sure this was listed as a free book, which is why I took a chance on reading it. It is rare that I rate a book 1 or 2 stars. It was actually 1 star but I bumped it up because I finished it.
Use your own judgement, this was simply not for me. Not at all. You can't love them all. I'll keep searching for my next good read!

Mind Blowing
Despite all the trigger warnings the author gives you , Mary is an intensely amazing read that leaves you so blown away that you can still feel the adrenaline rushing through your body long past the ending !! A fantastic read that I not only recommend to people who enjoy Taboo reads but also people who love a good psychological thriller, as well as a horror story, that comes from the demented mind of its characters lost souls . I can not wait to see what this author unleashes on us next 💛

Wow, an amazing story that you will love and not want to stop reading. Harry has some issues where he hasn't left the confines of his home but Mary is his new lady friend. We see Harry set new boundaries with Mary and Mary sets some of her own. This story is hot, steamy, dark & full of intrigue as we see Harry & Marys story develop. What an explosive and enjoyable story that will leave you in awe of this amazing book.

Wow! This book was sensational! AR Vidal has a way with making my head spin, but definitely in a good way. Mary is an intense thrill ride and not for the faint of heart. The plot twists in this book will have you questioning everything you've read. This is a book for fans of horror, psychological thrillers, and taboo reads. AR Vidal has once again proven himself to be a masterful storyteller, pick up the book and see for yourself.

Very Realistic**Triggers of physical and mental abuse**
This was my first read by this author. It was very emotional. Rough gritty!! I was not disappointed!! It was a very deep dark read.. I couldn't put it down. It had a very different ending than I had imagined. It blew my mind. Not for everyone. If you have suffered this type of trauma, this may or may not be for you. Being a trauma survivor this helps me process. I can't wait for the next book.

Really gutted about this. I was looking forward to it but when each page is only half full, as though it's the end of the chapter, it shows that they need to reformat the story. Unless they've done it in the hopes that people will stick it out if they're reading it through KU so as to get more pages read..........

Loved it
This book is very dark so if you have triggers avoid it. If you are like me and enjoy Dark Romance then this book is for you! The story isn't super short but isn't too long either. I read in less than a day. Great story, not sure I liked the beast but that made this all that much better!

Wow it was amazing rite from the start like it catches your attention it was so fucking hot and twisted I was not bored at all I did not know what was going to happen from one point of the story to the next and the end are you serious I was floored lol

A must read!!!
This book takes you on a Roller Coaster ride from the begining. You get so many sides, horror, thriller, taboo romance all in one. I Was definitely pleased with how the writer made me want to keep reading. I look forward to reading their next work.

Definitely a twisted book - that will blow your mind. I felt that some things needed to be added to help the short story flow. But if you want a short twisted crazy read - this is it. It's between good and excellent.

Enjoyable read

So I debated giving this 3 or 4 stars. I ended up giving it 4, only because the story was intriguing. But honestly, the grammar and layout of this story made it very difficult to finish. This book needs a good editor to make it better.

Good plot.
This story has a good plot but the writing leaves something to be desired. Run on sentences and little to no commas or punctuation. Run on dialogue made it hard to follow.
I sure didn't see the end coming.

So real (trigger warnings)
This is my first book by this author and will not be my last. Harry's childhood was a rough one. He lost both his parents due to his father's craziness. Then Mary comes along and that's when things get interesting. The ending will blow your mind
