A Set of Sisters: A We Sisters Three Box Set

Rate this book
Books 1-3 of the We Sisters Three Mystery series by USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller are now available as a boxed set! Meet Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme, the wacky Field sisters, in three funny, fresh romantic mysteries. Rosemary's Holistic personal chef Rosemary Field's not a murderer. Heck, she's barely even a chef. But when her miserable boss dies under suspicious circumstances, she's the number one suspect. To save her reputation and stay out of prison, Rosemary has to find the real murderer. There's no shortage of suspects, includes a womanizing race car driver; a powerful music producer; Hollywood's hottest leading man; and, oh yeah, Felix, the dead woman's stepson--which gets a bit awkward when Rosemary starts dating him. Things go from bad to worse after a romantic dinner with Felix ends in food poisoning. Rosemary finds herself unattached, unemployed, and once again on the wrong side of the LAPD. She knows how to salvage an oversalted sauce, but can she salvage the disaster that is her life? Sage of Sage Field loves being a nanny for the children of a PGA golfer. But when he's implicated in the murder of a rival golfer and loses his endorsement contracts, the family's going to have to cut costs--and Sage's job is on the chopping block. Sage convinces Roman, his caddy, to help her clear their boss's name and keep their jobs. They unearth a secret that's been hidden for a quarter of a century, discover a box of cash, and stumble onto a blackmail scheme. In the process, Sage discovers that Roman's been keeping some secrets of his own. Sage and Roman will be lucky to save their lives, let alone their jobs. Thyme to Yoga/Pilates instructor Thyme Field's tender heart gets her in trouble all the time--garden-variety trouble like adopting stray animals or volunteering to take the overnight shift at a telethon. But this time, she's in way over her head. When her client's nanny disappears, Thyme gets suckered into helping Victor, the missing woman's brother, search for her. Victor and Thyme stumble onto evidence that suggests she's been murdered. But nothing's as it seems, and Victor's holding back information. As they hunt for Victor's missing sister, they're being hunted themselves; and every step closer to the truth brings them another step closer to danger. Once you catch your breath and stop laughing, you'll fall in love with the Field sisters!

Enjoyed book one, but books two and three the characters were more difficult to have a connection with. Beach read kind of books; could read each on own, but better off reading all in a row. Each sister had someone in trouble in her story.. but none were willing to back down when life became complicated. Too hooky on how quickly each met and feel in with her individual man. But light-hearted romancing and little drama.

Rosemary,Sage and Thyme . Three amazing sisters.

These three books of three loving sisters is just amazing. They are quite different in character and living in spite of their Hippy mother and father who disappear leaving them in huge debt from their parents failed resort. Each book tells the story of a sister - her romance and of course a murder she must solve. A fabulous set of books - I loved them and sure you will too.

Sisters with Spunk

I received this box set as a freebie and loved it! Each sister is involved in some kind of catastrophe. They each also find their true loves. I can’t wait to read the next set of books.

3 tales of 3 sisterswho find love while sleuthing

I loved this box set and reading about the adventures of Rosemary, Sage and Thyme. The books cracked me up as much as Jenny Crusie’s books do. Besides the cool names I loved the sisters’ attitude. When their hippie parents end up in a financial pickle and escape, all 3 sisters abandon their dream jobs and get more highly paying ones - a vegan chef in California, a nanny (oops, sorry, parenting consultant) in Mid-West and a yogalates instructor in NYC. When a murder happens (or 3 as it’s 3 books), it seems all three sisters have a penchant for the crazy adventure of sleuthing or it may well be that they are all helpful souls. Granted, Rosemary and Sage are trying to save their jobs to bail out the awol parental unit, but Thyme definitely wears her heart on her sleeve and helps because she really wants to. It’s a fun read and blooming romance is definitely on the cards. Rosemary could potentially even be a fountain of advice for novice daters. Definitely recommend!

A good, quick, easy read.

Unusual names, unusual situation and a good read. 3 stories about 3 sisters, 2 involved in a murder investigation and the third involved in a missing person possible murder incident.

Out of the 3 books I found the story of rosemary to be the best. I enjoyed the situation she was in and the budding romance.

All 3 sisters were relatable characters and I found myself liking them and the books were made easier to read because of them.

The only story I found less convincing was that of Thyme unlike the other stories it didn't seem to posses the believability as the others. The plot line was a little far fetched. But nonetheless it was still a good quick easy read.

Mix a bit of mystery and murder, a bit of romance, and a bit of humour, stir and add a generous amount of good narration style, and you have books that will make you smile and enjoy them.
Here, we have the first three books in the "We Sisters Three" series, and we follow Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme trying to solve murders, being main suspects, vanishing, with the help of Dave, Roman, and Victor.
These books may not win a Pulitzer or whatever prize, but they are highly enjoyable, fun to read, with very likeable and quirky characters, and a very good mix of romance and mystery and just plain silliness - for me as a reader, that is more important than prizes, to be honest.
I definitely need more of this series, and of this author!

3 Sisters

Here are 3 stories about 3 sisters that have high paid jobs for a purpose. They have to come up with a half a million dollars by the end of the year. But in the meantime each gets involved with a murder and hunts down the murderer. And somewhere along the way, meets and falls in love with the man of her dreams, beside catching a killer. Read and enoy! Plus continue on with the next 3 books in the set.

Three great cozies!

I really enjoyed this series based on three sisters - Sage, Rosemary and Thyme - named by their hippie era parents! Each sister encounters a murder (or in Thymes’ case, a dangerous situation) and winds up playing detective with a new friend to help solve it. Clean and action-filled, each book focuses on one of the sisters and points up their similarities as well as their differences. I’m looking forward to reading the next books in the series!

Some books just grab you

I started 3 - 4 books that I quit on after a few chapters because I just couldn’t get into them. But some books just grab you and these do. Rosemary, sage and thyme. Close Sisters who help each other out. 3 great stories in this set. Looking forward to the next 3!

I thoroughly enjoyed A Set of Sister's 3 book set. Being the middle of three sisters, I identified with with the interaction between the sisters. The pace and tension kept me reading nonstop. Read all three books in two days. Can't wait to start on their next adventures.

Fun light easy reading

By the time you get to the final sister in the final book of this trilogy, you're feeling down right comfy with the herb sisters.

I enjoyed learning about each of the women and the subtle (and not so subtle) differences between them. Guessing you will as well.

Sisters rock!

Each of the stories were believable and well written. I liked each of them. They could be read alone, but it was nice when they continued and you got to know the sisters better. I'm hoping to read the next three. I look forward to seeing what other challenges they run into.

Fun little series!

Was great reading about Rosemary, Sage & Thyme. The mystery-romances were fun, quirky and featured strong, take-charge heroines and hot hunky men. Each sister had a murder mystery to solve along with the stress of family debt looming over their heads. Check out the chef, nanny and personal trainer and see how they solve the murders!

Rebels from Hippie Parents

I really like the 3 Sister Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. I love the backstory for why they used hobbies to make real money with. I thought some of the story was a little bit unicorn 🦄🦄 playing in the mist unreal. But it's a happy ending and u feel good when you finish the book

YOU HAD ME AT "SISTERS"

These sisters are unique and I couldn't put the books down. Excellent plotting and story-telling. The details of family activities and employers' children were imaginative and entertaining. Very satisfying. As one of three sisters my view of the loyalty, advice-giving and devotion are on target.

Slightly humorous, clean modern romance

The stories had good plots, great characters, a few fuzzy unclear spots in the stories, slight humor, & a totally modern day feel. They have a bit of suspense, & a few surprises. I'd read the sequels if given a chance.

Three great reads

Each sister has a story to tell and each are unique and mysterious. Each is also separately detailed with no over lapping events. I hope you enjoy the tells as much as I.

Similar stories different names

By design these stories are parallels. Reading them one after the other for a bit too repetitious for me. The characters are cute the plots move briskly.

The three sisters featured in this series are all on a path to save their family's retreat. When their jobs are threatened by murder they must solve the cases or lose the chance to get the retreat out of the debt their parents have left them in.

Enjoyable read

I loved the sisters. Rosemary, Sage and Thyme Fields each in a different part of the country, each with their own mystery and romantic interest. The only thing that was left in the air was the situation regarding the parent’s property.
