Great title, interesting cover, including insets on the back. A confusing feature is the fact that only 1 writer is listed on the cover and title page, while at the end, credit is given to TWO writers, and both signed the copy I found second-hand. The previous Aunt Louise mysteries are listed at the BACK of the text, rather than at the front, which is customary. As for the interior format, the intermittent inclusion of past events, present day history, and the mystery Aunt Louise is solving, encourages readers wanting to get to the story, to skip over parts that really relate to the plot. Sometimes the spine of the story bogs down in unnessary character chatter. Both writers are English teachers, but being one (ex-) myself, I couldn't help noticing numerous places to which I would have taken a red pen. The characters are distinct and engaging, however, and I will be on the lookout for another Aunt Louise mystery, mainly to compare it to this one.
