Sydney Jamison can’t seem to stay out of trouble, especially where men are concerned. When her latest mistake lands her in court-ordered anger management she meets Jett, a local musician raising his little sister and struggling to make ends meet. Sparks fly, but Sydney has been burned—scorched, really—one too many times.
Jett Emerson takes one look at Sydney and decides she’s the girl of his dreams, but he can’t figure her out. She seems into him, but tells him that they can’t be together. After unintentionally discovering a secret that Sydney has been keeping, he’s even more determined to let her know that he isn’t going anywhere.
AMAZING!❤ An amazing read that gives you all the feels! Sweet, sad, frustrating, irritating, ticked the heck off and some awe shocking moments. A definite eye opening awareness read. Edgy chemistry filled with suspense. Captivating twists that keep you needing to turn the pages. All in all I found it to be amazing and would definitely recommend.
Realistic romance that brings light to an important topic, highly recommended
Loved is the story of Sydney and Jett. When the pair first meet, it's love at first sight for both. However, Sydney keeps pushing him away for some unknown reason, even though it's clear to him she reciprocates his feelings. Jett is determined to break down Sydney's walls and prove his love to her. But Sydney is hiding secrets and scars of her own, and she has made up her mind that she cannot be loved. This story was so emotional, sweet, even a little angsty at times, and I loved all of it. This story also brings light to a condition that I think most don't know about, well, at least I didn't. It was eye opening to read about how much people with this condition struggle with, they try to live their lives normally, as they should, but the internal battles, insecurities, feeling of not being good enough...it was heartbreaking. I applaud the author for writing this story to bring awareness to this condition, of how difficult it is for patients of MRKH to find self acceptance and confidence. Sydney's struggles to come to terms with her condition, and her difficulty in trusting Jett and letting him in were portrayed beautifully and very realistically. The characters were well developed for a NA romance, and the story was a little heavy because of the emotional conflicts, but not so much so as it was also peppered with sweet heartwarming moments.
All in all, this was a fantastic, and very different read, not your typical NA romance, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Excited to read more from this author and follow her works. Mrs. Murphy has definitely got a fangirl in me now :)
I first read Changed and it enlightened me to this disease that I had no clue about and how people who have things going on in their lives that others know nothing about deal with them. In this book Sydney has the same syndrome MRKH and she's dealing with it hard. She stays inside her head a lot then at times can lash out in anger because she feels different, not normal. The author is so great at showing us how these characters try to live their lives but its hard on them. Sydney and Jett meet they are attracted to each other but Sydney keeps pushing him away because in a way she doesn't feel like she can be in relationship the way she is. There is a lot of push and pull, some sadness, frustration, anger, but such sweet moments too. This is so different from other romance books I have read but it is so realistic the author is amazing at telling these character's stories.
This was a touching story of Sydney, a young woman struggling to find her “normal” in the midst of her medical condition that affected all aspects of her life. Misunderstood and unable to navigate between her family’s clumsy attempts to deal with her condition and the cruel men in her life that convinced her that she was “less than”, by the time she met the truly worthy Jett, she was almost past saving. I loved the way Jett saw past all the barriers Sydney put up in an effort to avoid being hurt. His persistent and pure love was truly healing and very romantic. This well written, tender and sensitive storyline was informative and full of depth.

This story really pulled at my heart strings. I really enjoyed this well written story. I have never heard of MRKH syndrome and I cannot even imagine what it is to face this at such a tough and challenging age. Your teens are challenging enough without this as well. I have three girls and I see how they struggle with sexuality and finding their place in the world so my heart bleed for Sydney. I completely understand why she is the way she is. Having so much pain and hurt in your life for something you cannot help. I love Jett! What an amazing person with such a big heart! He got past all of her defenses and showed her what real love is. This is a really amazing story. There are imperfections in all of us. I just wish more people realized that.

I absolutely adored this story.
Jett seems like an amazing man (almost perfect!) and I loved his pairing with Sydney. She seemed broken and scared, however, she has reasons for that.
It's very different to any story I have ever read. Sure, there was steam, love, hurt and all those other amazing elements that you want in a book. But, there was more to it than that and it had me captivated, wanting to learn more.
I had no idea about the medical condition this story was written about, so thank you for opening my eyes to it.
It was easy to read, very informative and oh so good ❤️
The second book in the The Imperfect Girls series that deals with the medical problem MRKH again this Author handles this story with caring. Sydney Jamison has anger issues stemming from her health issues while at court-ordered anger management she meets Jett Emerson a local musician raising his little sister and struggling to make ends meet. These two will have a lot to get past especially Sydney before they get a happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book. Well. Hell. Sydney has anger issues and for damn good reason. She was diagnosed with MRKH. A syndrome that makes pregnancy impossible and penetration only with surgery. So she’s has court ordered therapy.
She meets a prince of a guy, Jett. He’s working two jobs, playing music and raising his sister Lita. Jett is immediately smitten with Sydney. But she’s difficult at best. And he has the patience of a saint.
Recommend.

What a great love story, altho it was a bit different than what I'm are used to. Sydney has a bit of a secret and medical condition, she is closed off and tired of being hurt. Jett is enamored with Sydney from the first time he saw her, and he is willing to take her and all her faults. These two characters were so perfect for each other, exactly what they both need. This is my first book by this author and I loved it, can't wait to read more from her.
Sydney and Jett meet and there is a instant attraction but she has been down that road one too many times before and she is not interested but Jett knows she feels the same thing that he does but soon finds out her secrets and he is determined to be there for her with no plans of leaving. Loved this sweet emotional romance and the characters were great.

This is a great story of instant love with compilation most of us never have to deal with. The struggle of the relationship is just one thing they both have to deal with. I look forward to more from this author. I found this book well developed and informative. I revive this book as a gift from the author and this in no way clouded my review.
I read and enjoyed the first book in the series and could not wait to read this one and it did not disappoint. This is a really sweet read they storyline was really good and I really liked both Sydney and Jett they are great characters and the attraction between them was great. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.
The book is a good romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good. The story is an enjoyable sweet story of instant love but one that comes with complications that most never have to deal with in live.

This was a really sweet read. A little frustrating at times because the main character is young and they typically are frustrating for me to read because the "act" young. That's a sign of good writing, though. I do enjoy a book where I learn something about the "human condition" and the trials of others. That was interesting for me to read.
A heartbreaking and also heartwarming story of love between two people who are each broken somewhat by life. The emotions run high in this story. The main characters are wonderfully written with attributes that are believable. The love they share is a deep mature love that most people will never find. Great storytelling.
I have MRKH, and it's so nice to read novels where the leading ladies have MRKH. I loved Murphy's first book Changed, and I loved Loved. Murphy perfectly captures the emotions of MRKH women. The insecurity, The low self-esteem. The anger. I really loved Sydney's meeting with Kate, the MRKH woman from the first book. Their talk about MRKH made me emotional.
Loved Sydney & Jett's story. Loved the characters & it was wonderfully written. I had lots of emotions with this one. Lol. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
