I found this old book at a book sale. Enjoyed reading Dr Robertson's biographical account of his work as a GP in the tenement Gorbals area of Glasgow starting in 1923. It was like going back in time- this special man had ahead of his time practices including using hypnosis to help his patients.

I was registered with Dr Ker at their practice in Abbotsford Place but would always wait for an appointment with Dr Robertson.
He was one of a kind and the book tells many real life tales of families in Glasgow. Amazing real history!
