I really and truly enjoyed this book. The only negative that I can say about it is there was a major lead up to one of the main characters former pack causing problems only to just dissipate almost as quickly as they showed up into the picture. I honestly think that if there would have been a little more on this particular portion of his book, then this would have been a truly incredible read. Regardless, I still enjoyed his book tremendously. This book is full of hot sexy times, constant back on forth on whether to be in a relationship or not, drama, and most importantly.... love.

Thomas first appeared at the end of Book one. He was running from his former alpha and mate. But what was even more incredible was he was pregnant with twins and about to have them when he appeared in Pine Wood Falls for help.

After having the twins, Thomas, Chloe, and Henry have settled down in the town and now have friends. Thomas was given a place to stay for him and the twins and now had a job that he loves. But just three months after having the twins Thomas finds himself in heat for the first time after giving birth. Though it is an early heat Thomas knows he will need help through it. So that is how Thomas ends up at a party for just these occasions.

Campbell met Thomas a few days prior to thhe mating/heat party and knew immediately that Thomas was his mate. But Campbell also knows that Thomas had a rough time with his former mate. So he realizes he is going to have to tread lightly.

When Thomas meets an alpha named Griffin at the party, Thomas is almost set to leave with him and whole up together until his heat is over. But Griffin opens his mouth one too many times and even though Thomas feels a pull towards him, Thomas refuses to be with someone who is less then nice to him. As Thomas is set to walk away, in walks Campbell and everything changes.

Griffin does not know who this other alpha is and he is not going to let him walk away with the sweet smelling Thomas either. Campbell realizes immediately that not only is Thomas his mate but so is this other alpha, Griffin. He also realizes that neither man has come to this realization. So Campbell takes matters into his own hands and talks both Griffin and Thomas into the three of them riding Thomas’ heat out together.

Can what starts out as a sexy hook up turn into more? Will Thomas and Griffin realize that all three men are mates? What happens when one man decides to walk away after everything?

These questions and so many more will be answered in this book. This was a great read and I look forward to more books in this series. Sarah Haven did a great job on this book. It really was a great read!!!

Was given this galley copy for free for an open and honest review

This is the second book in the Pine Wood Falls series, this continues Thomas' story. We got to know a bit about Thomas in book one, and we learned about Pine Wood Falls and the back story of how these males could get pregnant. Just reading this book, doesn't give you that backstory. Anyways, so Thomas has had his twins and is now coming into heat again, thankfully for the system that Pine Wood Falls has, he has babysitters that can help him at this time when he will be gone for a few days. When he goes to the party where the Omega's that are going into heat go, he ends up with not one but two alphas vying for his attention. Griffin is only there to get laid and get out, and Campbell is there for Thomas, he knows that Thomas is his fated mate and is there to claim him. When it becomes clear that the three of them have the pull of being fated, both Griffin and Thomas are resistant, as they both had mates before and believe that they only get one shot at it. The three spend a few days together, where the outcome is that Thomas ends up pregnant. Griffin having been very clear from the start doesn't hang around, while Campbell is very much present and patient with Thomas and his doubts. Can the three of them make a relationship work, even though two of the parties are having doubts? What happens when Thomas' past comes back to haunt him with the threat of losing the twins?

So, I did not like this one as much as I liked book one. I felt that the chemistry was missing from the three, Griffin had a bit more with Campbell than he did with Thomas but he still fought tooth and nail and that got a bit old very quickly. I just felt so bad for Thomas the whole book, first having to deal with twins and then finding out that he was having another multiple pregnancy, that just felt a bit overwhelming. I give this 3 stars.

A Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Review An Alisa Review:

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

This was another great story by this author. I had wanted to see Thomas find his happiness after everything he went through in the first book.

Thomas just wants to be happy and live a nice quiet life with his babies but his heat throws a wrench is his current plans. Campbell won’t let anything get in his way of living his life with his mate, even the reality of another alpha in the mix doesn’t even seem to faze him. Though Griffin tries to stay away, he quickly accepts those who fate gives him.

I liked that I got to see the points of view for all of these guys, it went a long way towards keeping track of what was going on and what they were thinking. Thomas doesn’t really take as much convincing as he tries to make it seem, but there aren’t many reasons to since the alphas are so wonderful. I had trouble with Griffin saying he has been fated before, when he described the “relationship” it didn’t really sound much more than him finding an omega in heat. I felt for Campbell and how lonely his life had been, though he did have someone who loved him, but he is getting way more very quickly.

My only gripe with the story was that the issue of Thomas’s former “pack” wanting to force him back. It was only brought up like three times and quickly resolved without any real problems. It just felt like it was added to bring some angst to the story but I didn’t feel that is succeeded.

This is another great cover art by Melissa Liban, it’s adorable and gives some great little visuals.

Sarah Haven's An Extra Alpha, is a great mpreg menage romance.

Two alphas and one omega who are all bonded to each other? Yes hell!

Thomas has two babies already and struggles with his abusive ex, from who he's escaped. Falling for one man is tough enough, but falling for two has it's own set of issues.

I enjoy the hesitation to believe the three are meant to be together. The men have to face their fears and doubts. They also have to deal with issues between packs, their current one and Thomas's old one. There are threats and danger along the way.

An Extra Alpha is a sweet, tender, and loving tale. I love this little world that Sarah Haven has created and hope for more books.

Just as good as the first book...

This book is about Thomas a frighten pregnant omega from book one, who ran from his abusive Alpha, to Pine Wood Falls. He attends a get-together for omega seeking their fated mate. Thomas not only find one, but two fated Alpha mates, and is now impregnated by both. Now, two people from Thomas old pack shows up, demanding Pine Wood Falls return him, and the babies belonging to his ex back to them. I find the story to be very interesting, seeing how the Thomas deals with his pregnancy and his old pack. It was good to see Conrad and Mason in book two.

2.5* - I haven’t read the first book of this series, and this story just did not include enough world description to understand what was going on in Pine Wood Falls and the rest of the world. Apparently the author wanted to use the well-known genre of non-shifter Mpreg and develop it further trying to give some semblance of possibility to have men actually becoming pregnant: so she mixed the existing condition of intersex persons with the genes of wolves and there you go, omega intersex male bearing multiple cubs! And the entire book ends up focusing only on the reproduction process, from the heat of the omega, to the multiple intercourses, the surprise pregnancy, and finally the birth (two chapters are dedicated to the deliveryof the babies, a record amount of words compared to the usual Mpreg books). In many parts this book read more as a pregnancy textbook rather than a romance book.

And this is another aspect that disappointed me: total lack of romance between the MCs. Everything starts as an encounter to satiate an urge, then everything focuses on the pregnancy and on whether the two alphas will or will not be there for the babies. Campbell is monotone, he doesn’t evolve, he is always the same pretty boring overbearing alpha who dreams of having his big family and at the end manages to have his ways; Thomas had the potential to have a life outside of his role as bearer and milk-cow, but his aspirations got lost in the skript; perhaps the best developed character was Griffin who struggled to accept his new predicament as submissive alpha, until the author stripped him of his last piece of indipendency.

The idea of this story was good, but the execution was disappointing.

It took me a while to really get into this book but once I did I really enjoyed it. I loved that it was as two alphas and an omega and that the alphas were together just as much as they were with their omega. I also really liked that we saw Thomas pregnancy from beginning to end with lots of details of his struggles carrying quads. The only thing that made me a little disappointed was that Thomas had some trouble from his previous pack and I expected a little more angst over it than we eventually got, it seemed to be resolved very easily, other than this I thoroughly enjoyed it.

you meet Thomas in book 1 when he escaped his ex who forced him to live hidden while carrying their twins.
Thomas while in Pine Wood Falls goes into another heat and at an event meets Campbell and Griffin two alphas who help him through the heat. Once the heat passes Campbell immediately becomes attached and stays to help Thomas with his twins to be a family. Once Thomas becomes pregnant Griffin comes back to see if the babies are his, surprise they're both alphas, one set of twins each!
The three figure their dynamics out and become a functional family until while protecting a scared Thomas.

6 babies in a year to three father's. Wow!

How does it all work out so well when almost everything is against the successful births and unusual circumstances that makes Thomas so special and Griffin and Campbell so supportive? Good friends and medical support are essential, but the carrying of the babies, breast feeding, caring for them and each other is a real challenge without expecting even more soon.

Loved It

I loved the build up of the relationship between these 3. Like they were all drawn to each other but they also have their own feelings to contend with, which is a very normal reaction I think. I definitely expected at least one alpha to be unsure about a poly-relationship so it made sense. I'm also glad they didn't have to deal with Mike again. Ew.
The pack/community is getting bigger and better!

DNF at 48% ... no, just no!
But the omega's heat scene was not bad, i thought i read porn and it lasted like 5 chapters lol (no, i don't know how many chapters it were, but it was really loooong)
Save yourself time and read good books, but not this one. And the first cover was amazing, not the second one...

Delightful

What a amazing story. In the first book we got to meet Thomas. My heart broke for him as his Alpha was a bad guy. Love how he was given a second chance at love with not one but two sexy Alpha's. Plot is well written and has a good flow. The other men that come into Thomas's life, Campbell and Griffin also are easy to love.

I absolutely loved Thomas' story. I have been wondering about him since he appeared in book one. I was glad to see him get his happy ending with Griffin and Campbell.

I'll be the first to admit that this book is a fascinating, intriguing, engaging, sexy, delightfully different, and unexpectedly unique twist on the traditional omegaverse storyline. I can't wait to see what happens next.

We learn more about Pine Wood Falls.

The books in this series start with lots of sex, detail the pregnancy and then the birth. The characters all seem very into "natural birth" and having lots and lots of children.

There were some interesting things here - like intersex omegas and an a/a/o relationship where the alphas are also having sex with each other - but for some reason this story didn't really work for me.

I read this because I liked other books in this series but. It was kinda cookie cutter? I feel like I've read so many books with two alphas and an omega, where one is attentive and one is distant but then they get their HEA.

Really loving this series

This is the second volume in a very sweet series. I like how the characters' relationship grew, and the love between the three of them. One of the things that sets the series apart is the attention the author has paid to the details of pregnancy and childbirth. I suspect they are either an experienced parent, or a doula or some such! Can’t wait for the next volume.
